I needed my home deep cleaned. Due to circumstances beyond our control there were areas of the home that had not received any love for quite some time. My partner was traveling and I decided returning to a clean home would be a nice early bday gift for him. I contacted this company hoping they had availability to come out that weekend. I received a quick response and reserving an appointment time/date was quick and easy. I appreciate that the company requests information by phone the day of an appointment to ask if there are areas of the home that should be prioritized. I also appreciate that someone is available by phone during the appointment for questions or concerns. The 2 employees (Jose & Ana) that cleaned my home are kind, professional, and efficient. We moved in with some appliances left by previous owners, the appliances look nicer now than before we moved in. The price for services (what is included) were discussed ahead of time as well. I am currently on disability and could not afford any surprise costs. I was informed prior to the appointment what services would cost extra. I don't know about the prices for scheduling routine consistent appointments. I intend to request that information when I'm off disability because I know it would alleviate a lot of stress maintaining our home. read more

I saw the good yelp reviews on Jaycee Cleaning, so I went to their web site to check it out. The pricing looked very reasonable, so I submitted a move-in form on Friday 11/27/15 (day after Thanksgiving). I requested a cleaning date of Sunday 11/29/15. Diane of Jaycee Cleaning responded to me by e-mail on Saturday 11/28/15, and we scheduled a cleaning time right away for 11/29/15. She arrived on time at 9:00am on 11/29/215 with her own cleaning materials, and she cleaned the entire house, focusing on the areas that we asked her to focus on, such as dusting everything, wiping all the baseboards, etc. She charged us $40 for 5 hours, and she did a great job! I was at home with my husband that day while she was there. I was playing Adele's "Hello" on my computer, and Diane heard me playing it. She mentioned that she had bought the Adele CD and that she had it in her car if I wanted to copy the music onto my computer. I thought that was a sweet gesture! Although this doesn't have much to do with the cleaning, she was very friendly and we related over having Disney annual passes, and she gave us tips on it. I had also asked her what kind of cleaners she used, and she said that she uses all non-toxic. She showed me the cleaners. She talked about the hard water that is common in my area and tips and cleaning methods on how to deal with it. She also mentioned tips for things she found in the house, such as dirty doors that she cleaned and the slippery tiles in the bathroom. She recommended that we put rugs in the bathroom because she has found that they are the slipperiest type of tiles. She also went above and beyond and organized our baby's room so that she could properly clean the floors. I was very disappointed with this house cleaning service. After several phone calls and emails to get my appointment they finally contacted me and scheduled the appointment it was a month after I originally wanted it. On the day of the appointment they somehow canceled me and so I called find out where they were she said she didn't know that there was still an appointment and so they finally the cleaners two hours late. The two very young ladies who came were very nice and polite but they did not know how to clean with a darn. The services that the website said would be done are not accurate...at least in my case. When it came that time to clean the hardwood floors they were actually trying to vacuum it with the small brush attachment on the hose that you would normally use on furniture. I had to ask the girls if they were going to mop or steam clean the floors and they said that was not part of the services when I showed them on the website it was they acted surprised. As far as dusting went they didn't even move objects such as knick knacks to dust under them they just dusted around them. They did not dust inside of the crevices of any of the furniture either. The kitchen was also not cleaned well. The microwave was not cleaned (The girl said she was too short to do it so I offered her a stepstool and she did not even bother to use it) the outside of the kitchen cupboards were not wiped down, the appliances we're not wiped down well either. The bathrooms were not done well nor the dining room or living room. I could go on about what a lousy job that they did but I think you all get the point. I also purchased a voucher after reading the reviews on here. I needed someone to help me a bit with my small place due to a disability. I ran into a couple of scheduling situations at first but because I am a compassionate human being that understands things can happen, I delved further and found out that there was a serious medical issue. Why do people assume that everyone is a jerk and write a bad review without investigating? Jessica made up for the inconvenience by giving me a free cleaning. That is how you do business. Things are going to happen no matter what but if you don't attempt to communicate then you cannot assume you know what goes on with the other person. Heard from the owner. Stated they were disappointed that I Yelped them. Well, we were disappointed with your service! They asked why they weren't given the opportunity to rectify the situation. How are you going to do that? We had you come clean so we could have people over after our wedding the following weekend. We didn't end up inviting anyone because the house still smelled and we didn't have time to clean all the things they didn't have time to. The interesting comment they made was that there was black mold in the bathroom and that's why they spent so much time in there. The gal that came to clean said they don't have products to clean that. So, one has to ask why did you spend over half of the scheduled time cleaning something you can't? I went into the back bathroom shower which wasn't hardly touched. There was soap scum in the soap dish - not black mold. There was mildew along the top of the tile which I cleaned off with a toothbrush and WATER. For spending so much time in the bathrooms, there were many surfaces not even touched.
