Jazz club for Sunday brunch was excellent choice ., food was A+, owner , service great . Music was great .

Not only did I learn of this place's existence tonight but I also learned how much my Dad enjoys live jazz. My Dad was chomping at the fucking.bit to hear some jazz tonight and as a result, we found out about this place. One of my favorite things about visiting nOLA is the jazz and I almost feel like it's the twilight zone that i can have the live Jazz experience in my home town. Not only that, but everything about our experience, start to finish, was amazing. They enticed us with the live jazz outside..As all of their tables were taken up, our initial strategy was to sit at the bar and hopefully be able to hear the music from inside. Not only did they have a whole band INSIDE the bar playing for those patrons, but we were given the choice of them literally building us a table outside. You can't really go wrong with either choice but due to the absolutely perfect weather outside and my mother's panic phobia about covid, we elected to sit outside. They straight up brought a table and four chairs outside for us to enjoy the band playing outside. The temperate fall air and lively Jazz is an ambiance that is few and far between. We had initially planned on just ordering drinks but were selling what we were buying and dropped a few food menus and had us eating out of their hand. They legit had MOZARELLA FRIED ZUCCHINI B LOSSOMS, some delicious vegetarian ravioli, arancini, and honestly whether you're into steak or farro and kale salad, they can push your.buttons, Both of my parents ordered a spring-roll-like appetizer, one with salmon and one with veggies (extra brownie points for the vegetarian option). My parents some how missed the fact that they were ordering from the appetizer menu and were disappointed in the portion size but absolutely adored the dish. . Even though I talk up and down for about 99% of the time about the fact that I'm "on a diet now" I'm actually full of shit when it comes down to the wire and I absolutely could not resist ordering their fried mozzarella zucchini blossoms which were enveloped in a delicate but delicious outer crust with creamy cheese and zucchini blososms. They were served with an orgasmic tomato sauce with a little touch of pesto. The food was the perfect complement to the musi. They have an interesting cocktail menu as well. I couldn't resist ordering their Frenesi with tequila, lemon juice, cinnamon syrup, apple bitters, hard cider. This was served in a cocktail glass with little floating (what I'm assuming is cinnamon fits that almost looked to be sparkles. It was such a beautiful drink and had such a unique flavor. GF initially ordered the All That Jazz with rye, calvados, Demerara syrup, peychaud's bitters,, ango bitters, and up in smoke however we were informed that they did not have all ingredients to make this drink. She went with her second choice, the Jam Session with bourbon, lemon, stone fruit syrup, peychaud's orange peel, Brandie's cherry. I tried this and as a strong bourbon drink, wasn't my immature palate's favorite but I appreciated the combo of bourbon and fruit flavor. Our server was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was as excellent as it could possibly be. My Mom was literally obsessed with him and couldn't stop commenting on how well he was taking care of us. Huge shout out to that man right there. I'm so excited that this place exists and GF and I have already decided to keep the local taxi on speed dial for further visits to this place. PS-sorry if this is filled with typos but I was literally too lazy to wear glasses while writing this so I am just typing and hoping for the best. read more

My husband & I stopped in for the first time last night. We made a point to tell the owner that the musicians were magical, but were horrified by where the conversation turned. In short, he declared "men are men and women are women," and that being transgender is "mental." We were disgusting and walked out & will never return. If you are looking for an inclusive establishment, this is NOT it. We will be spending our money elsewhere. read more

Had a wonderful time last evening at this lovely Jazz Club with a friend. The music was absolutely fantastic and the atmosphere was lovely as well with a very reasonable cover charge. The waitstaff was very attentive and pleasant during our entire stay so we enjoyed the evening greatly. The only downside to the club is it is a bit cramped in the seating area (I totally understand they are trying to get as many tables/chairs into the club as possible) and the food and drinks are very expensive! A Margarita ran $20 each so that is the only downside, I was a little surprised at the high price of food and drinks. It is though so nice to have a place like this in Northern Westchester for great jazz music in an intimate and lovely atmosphere. The lighting and sound are fantastic as well and the place is tastefully decorated and cozy. It is absolutely worth it to give this place a try if you have not been yet, I know I will be back in the near future! read more

Call before you go. Headed over on a Friday night at about 9PM. All the lights on not a soul in there no music. We never bothered to go in.

I have come to this venue twice now for live music and delicious Mediterranean food. Both nights I was not disappointed. The food was beyond expectation. The first night I had the Eggplant Francese which was heaven on a plate. Nothing deep fried, it was light and enjoyable. The second visit we opted for the Lite Fare menu and I ordered Mediterranean Mezze. Three choices on the plate, Hummus, Baba Gannoush and Romesco served with warm pita. I could have ordered a second helping! The sound system, lighting and overall experience was outstanding. It is a small venue with seating for 45 people. Every seat is ideal, and you feel a closeness with the performers. There is a projected light show on the wall and a rollling coolness from the ceiling provides a "smokey" atmosphere, just like being in an old school jazz club in NYC. We just went back to Jazz on Main for the 2nd time and were so impressed, again. The food was delicious, with a variety of options. I had the soup and the Farro bowl, while my husband had the soup and the salad. You have your choice of full dinners or small plates. Prices are reasonable. Tickets for the performance are usually around $30 and the minimum is $25, which is easily covered. We heard Hilary Kole, who was terrific, and last time heard Alan Harris, who was also great. They have shows every weekend at 7 and 9 or 9:30, with a variety of different jazz groups. Excellent bar. Staff was friendly and accommodating. It was a great way to hear live jazz and be able to enjoy the atmosphere while doing so. We figured that going to Jazz on Main was no more expensive than going to a restaurant for a night out. Highly recommended if you want to hear great music and have a great time. Check it out! read more
