The bartender literally watched the sink fill up while I was sitting at the bar and trying to order. The food is "fresh" frozen. The stew was an embarrassment to my heritage. My nan would walk in here and square them all away with force! I almost want to bring her here and see how that cane works when it's not directed at me. I feel bad because we need a good representation of our culture in the area but they're not putting out the quality. For a pint and snacks sure this is your go to but don't let the name fool ya. Not worth it. Got inedible calamari as appetizer. Flavorless and rubbery. When we told the waitress she just took it away. No apology or offer to take it off the bill even though we hardly ate any. Drove by this place many times and we figured St. Patrick's Day was an appropriate time to try it..So its definitely a classic Irish Pub. The staff seemed very nice ( especially since it was only 2 young ladies working both the bar and the dining room, both of which were packed) A Manager also made himself know to us by checking on us and greeting us, he was very nice. Let's talk food, we shared jalapeno poppers which were yummy. My wife had Shepard's pie which she enjoyed. I had a classic Corned beef and cabbage served with carrots and potatoes (of course). Paired my meal with a nice cold Guinness..Perfect! I read a few poor reviews on Yelp..they focused on the " quality of the darts" lol ( I'm not kidding) and a Bartender who wouldn't honor a questionable "out of state" ID. ( sounds like responsible Bartending to me)..I would call this a very nice neighborhood Irish pub and would definitely re visit this slice of Ireland right in the heart of Mount Kisco. Great pub for evenings, TVs, beer and nibbles. I particularly love the clam strips - they remind me of the old HoJo's Clam Boat Special. Trivia on Wednesdays is a lot of fun. Highly recommended as it is not "corporate" trivia, but custom made each week. Challenging, but not impossible. My one gripe is I had a gift certificate from winning trivia just over a year beforehand and they wouldn't honor it a couple of months after the expiration date. Unsanitary!!!!!! Bartenders served drinks without gloves.....beer is expired! Says it on the can! Have never seen the counter whipped down. Beer and drink glasses have residue and prints. The bathrooms are disgusting and never cleaned Unethical as well... quickdraw scanner does NOT work but you are able to purchase tickets? So it's basically up to the bartender whether they want to pay you. All employees have an attitude.....they choose who to serve and who to ID....so many minors are okay but then make up for it by picking older people to ID I guess its tactic used to allow underaged kids to buy drinks and not turn away revenue but still look like they comply with laws so they card people who are obviously of age.....very transparently unethical I would give this place a -100/10 read more

Its a great pub! I come here alot and love it! Its always packed and serves great food. Buuuuut... it's not really that irish lol. My big complaint is they serve half effort irish food. The bangers and mash don't come with baked beans, theres no brown sauce at all, they also don't offer irish chicken curry and thats not irish :/ cmon Oconners don't make me drive 30 mins down to Rorys in Yonkers for real irish comfort food. Been coming here for years. It has gone down hill the last few years. At the time of this review there were only 5 customers here when we walked in. The staff sat gabbing away with friends instead of coming to our table. We sat for 15 minutes before someone decided to come for our drink order. We than sat and watched her talk away to the friend and took 15 minutes before our drinks came out. Dinner was okay. Onion rings were over done. Couldn't even bite through them. 15 minutes later came to ask if we were good and took the plates. Never even asked if we need more drinks or anything else. 20 minutes went by before a different person came and we just handed the credit card to pay cause we still hadn't gotten the bill. Came here for [another] round of drinks after sushi at Neo....and of course the guys ordered more food!! I was a bartender for 18 years in NYC Westchester LA Las Vegas i know how it goes.. no one wants a $15 check on your shift but also no one told you to work a morning shift on a tuesday at a local pub. She still got $5 on $18 which is more than 30% but kindly teach her that just because i'm not some old dude whose gonna get hammered and look at her ass than throw her a $20 just for existing , that customer service goes out the window. thanks! read more

If you are looking for a simple pub with cold beer, nice staff, in a good walkable location, and with a full menu, this is the right place. Although I did not try any food, most of the people in here on a Saturday night were having dinner, so it must be popular. We loved the seating between the front entrance and the middle of the bar, where you could sit or stand with a group around a long high top with stools and hooks for bags/coats. The pitchers of basic domestics are a bit pricey, but it is Westchester so that is to be expected. I could imagine that catching a game here would be a fun atmosphere, and I would definitely come back to do so. read more

Came here during the day on a Friday for lunch after our first choice was closed. It's a pretty new place in the area, so we decided to give it a go. They had a great selection of beer, including the now-standards (Sam Adams Boston, Sam Adams Seasonal, Blue Moon), and a great selection of NY State based micr-brews (Captain Lawrence, Ithaca, etc). I went with super basic fair--cheeseburger and fries. I really wasn't expecting much, and perhaps because of (or maybe in spite of) this, I was really really impressed. The burger was thick (though could have still been a little bigger in my opinion), really really juicy, great flavor, just really solid. Not that best burger in Westchester, but definitely top 7. The fries were great too--shoe stringers with good seasoning, and really crunchy. I would have prefered sweet potato fries, but I didn't even ask, because I just said "I'll have the same thing" when giving my order instead of pursuing further, but I didn't see them on the menu. The bar itself is really nice, and rumor has it you can't get in on weekend night because it's getting really popular, but stop by for lunch if you're looking too avoid said supposed crowd. Walked in last Friday night and gave my passport to the bouncer. Apparently a government issued document is not enough so I had to give him two more forms of ID. I walked to the back because my friend had to pee and as I waiting, another bouncer asks to see my ID. As he is checking, a THIRD bouncer comes up and takes the passport to shine a flashlight on it and check it. O'Connor's needs to hire better bouncers that know how to check all forms of ID!!! Anyways, O Connor's is notorious for blasting terrible country music as townies attempt to bust a move. There was even a DJ last Friday and the music was still painful. We went across the street to Village Social and they were playing music you could actually dance to even though the crowd was a little older. Some pros are that there is space for big groups to meet up and sit down and the Irish owner is a very chill, nice guy. There is a jukebox where you can pay to hear decent music and an area to play pool and darts. read more

Went in for drinks with 8 heavy drinkers and close friends of mine after dinner and one of us was out of state visiting me. They refused him service. After the very nice bouncer let us in and tried to help us deal with the rude bartenders, we ultimately decided to take our business elsewhere. The female bartenders were rude and did not know how to handle a situation in which they were very clearly in the wrong. After we decided to not cause a scene any further then they already have, the female bartender followed us out to continue the argument. The bouncer was very helpful in trying to navigate the situation and appreciated us politely leaving. Quick $500 bill (at least) down the drain for O'Connors! 7/3/2021. Will change my review if the situation is properly dealt with from here. read more

In all my years, my experience here was a first. We went for an after game meal expecting a quick and predictable experience. . First, too few servers who were obviously overworked. We placed our order from the menu. It states that they had "gluten free wraps", then when we ordered, they tell us "oh we don't have that". I stated they should remove items that they do not have. Then we place a simple order and after waiting 45 min for our meal, the server comes out and says...get this " sorry but our chefs can't make your food, they don't know how". At first we thought it was a joke, but sadly it wasn't. He continued to show us the menu and stated..."anything here on the back which is an entree , we can't make". "Sorry but you can get sandwiches". Totally unbelievable! We waited for over an hour for a meal that would never come. Completely disgusting and sad. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!
