The gate worker got me a chair to sit in and wait for her, this was very kind and helpful! The sound at this venue is a bit off, a band that I know has great vocals and sound sounded funny and not like their voices were carrying like they usually do. I also would like to say that the ADA section could really be better. It's VERY hard to see as a person in a wheelchair. Being unable to stand up for long periods of time, I couldn't see for a majority of the show. It was frustrating especially when people would walk in front of me, stand directly infront of where I am sitting, and talk, not even watching the show. The ADA section needs to have a clear view of the stage as it is unfair to those who have disabilities to give up a nice time because the venue cannot provide a space where they are accommodated.

Too, the line is odd, as it's only one person screening IDs for booze wristbands. We decided they don't need our bar money. Skipped on those, and went to the entry area, which has multiple entry lines. The sound is great. The light show is odd, given that it's still light out at 7pm in July. The headliner might be able to properly utilize them, though. The stage is close enough to see facial expressions from the 200s, which is great. Out here, the singer can easily walk down to the audience. He did, too. Parking is the same for indoor and outdoor seating. It's close to the event, and it's only $5. We'd previously been to the indoor theater, and liked it better. Not as hot, nor as sunny, either. I see apartments next to the amphitheater. That must be rough. There need to be more restaurants near this location. We're glad we like one of the few.

We came recently to experience Omaha Symphony + guest conductor Christopher Allen + guest violinist Francisco Fullana play Johann Strauss II, Montgomery, and Stravinsky's Firebird. There was an "after party" where we were able to stay to listen to Christopher Allen on the piano and Fullana on the violin play a few pieces. I'm glad we stayed to experience it! There's a large area on the second floor where tables and chairs are set up for conversations and presentations. The check in and security was smooth and simple, they have metal detectors which I appreciate for safety. We had lots of help from the patrons to help us find our seats. My husband surprised me with 2nd row seats for the show, it was amazing being that close to the performance! The drinks were just okay. I wanted a coffee at intermission and when I asked what coffee they serve, she said "decaf," which is as a little annoying. I want to stay awake which is the purpose of coffee, and I still don't know if it's a good coffee or simple Folgers. We opted to share a glass of Chardonnay, served in a plastic cup with a lid. It felt like I was a toddler sipping from the cup, so I probably wouldn't get a drink to have during a presentation again.

We have never had a hifi lounge in Omaha, and as a lover of live music, vinyl, and indie music, I was intrigued. When we arrived as a group of 5, there was a waitlist, which was expected with how popular the opening has been; I was pleased with the organization of Oto, and they already had an app with SMS notifications for the waitlist, which made it super simple to wait in the car until we were in the clear to enter. I really appreciated the foresight they had, since it was very chilly outside and we were able to keep our spot while waiting somewhere warm. Oto is very small, but has a ton of seating and a variety in the space, whether it is bar stools, a couch lining the wall, or some taller seating in the corner. It was packed when we arrived, but we were eventually able to sit and enjoy the DJ set. Drinks were definitely on the pricier side, but the bartender was speedy and helpful. Out of the 4 drinks me and my friend tried, 3 were absolute hits; one was too strong, but her and I prefer lighter drinks and there was still a variety of options. The DJ played some of the best music I have ever heard on a night out. If you prefer indie music or maybe RNB, this is the place. The DJ played everything from Bjork, Sade, Free Nationals, Charli XCX, to Gorillaz. When Empire Ants came on I felt like I finally discovered a place that caters to different music tastes rather than the same old. It was refreshing and fun to be in a space with other music lovers, and I absolutely will come again!

The drinks were well made, but the prices felt a bit high for what you get. That said, I'm glad I finally checked it out and would definitely go back. Not because of the shows per se, but because of the community this place has created. The employees who make it all happen. I'll talk specifically about tonight. Went to a show, and had an issue with my ticket. This issue was an issue I created by making a mistake when the tickets were transferred, but Steelhouse employees were so quick and helpful. They took something that could have ruined a whole evening, and they resolved it within minutes. That alone was impressive and very kind especially since the mistake was not on their end. I was greeted by familiar faces, some who seemed to even remember me back. My next experience was specifically upstairs in the balcony. I'm currently expecting and needed to sit down and rest for a bit due to some complications I've been having. The employees checked on me regularly and went way above and beyond to make sure I was well cared for. I'm not special, they did this to everyone there. I saw paramedics with a gentleman, and shortly after, an employee took the rest of his evening to sit next to this ill person and assist them until I can only assume their ride arrived safely. The janitors were kind, and picked up very quickly after people's accidents left and right. Their work does not go unappreciated by people like me, who could've slipped and fallen on the spilled drinks along the way to and from the GA floor. Even the elevator greeters genuinely seemed excited for you to experience all this place had to offer. The cops that nod your way as you exit the venue are kind as well. This place doesn't appear to be an establishment of employees, but a community built upon responsibility and caring for one another - what a venue should be. I will be back, and I cannot wait to greet the faces of those who work so hard to make simple concerts so so special and memorable in ways that you just don't find just anywhere.

The service is too notch and plenty of ushers do walk you directly to your seats. There are at least four bars from what I saw (one in main hallway and three in the seating/stage area). There were plenty of bartenders as well. They have a coat check in and there's plenty of space to stand around before the show starts. My only complaint is the seats are small foldable chairs and connected to each other so you can't move them at all and you can be touching elbows or bottoms depending on the size of people
