This is a modern and beautiful venue. We saw Nate Jackson on 02/21/26. There was zero line to get in and plenty of security to get people inside quickly and just as many ticket scanners. The service is too notch and plenty of ushers do walk you directly to your seats. There are at least four bars from what I saw (one in main hallway and three in the seating/stage area). There were plenty of bartenders as well. They have a coat check in and there's plenty of space to stand around before the show starts. My only complaint is the seats are small foldable chairs and connected to each other so you can't move them at all and you can be touching elbows or bottoms depending on the size of people read more

We spent a lot of time at Let It Fly for the College World Series and we wanted something to do that evening and we saw Steelhouse directly across the street. Yachtly Crew was playing at 8pm and we found some inexpensive tickets on stub hub for $30. The place is incredible and architecturally cool on the exterior - large open venue, with a big stage, standing room on floor and seats on upper level and ample street parking. There is a bar and additional seating on the first level. It's clean and the staff was great. read more

Went to the Australian Pink Floyd concert here. When we initially arrived, we were able to go to their outdoor seating area and hang out for a while. They had plenty of drink options, none were too expensive, but you also know you're going to pay more when going to an event. They also have food, which we found out later, and that was a realistic price as well! There were plenty of attendants throughout the area so if you needed help finding where to go, you had plenty of luck. The concert was great! Went with my dad and it was entertaining to see so many 60+ year olds jamming out and having a great time. Kinda crazy to still be one of the youngest people there and be in your mid 30s! The sound was great no matter where you were and we went around and took note of where we would want to ideally sit next time we go to a show. There was a bit of time that someone had spilled their drink in the walkway and it took quite a while for it to get cleaned up. This place is something else. I've been here twice now. Each time, my experience was phenomenal and memorable. Not because of the shows per se, but because of the community this place has created. The employees who make it all happen. I'll talk specifically about tonight. Went to a show, and had an issue with my ticket. This issue was an issue I created by making a mistake when the tickets were transferred, but Steelhouse employees were so quick and helpful. They took something that could have ruined a whole evening, and they resolved it within minutes. That alone was impressive and very kind especially since the mistake was not on their end. I was greeted by familiar faces, some who seemed to even remember me back. My next experience was specifically upstairs in the balcony. I'm currently expecting and needed to sit down and rest for a bit due to some complications I've been having. The employees checked on me regularly and went way above and beyond to make sure I was well cared for. I'm not special, they did this to everyone there. I saw paramedics with a gentleman, and shortly after, an employee took the rest of his evening to sit next to this ill person and assist them until I can only assume their ride arrived safely. The janitors were kind, and picked up very quickly after people's accidents left and right. Their work does not go unappreciated by people like me, who could've slipped and fallen on the spilled drinks along the way to and from the GA floor. Even the elevator greeters genuinely seemed excited for you to experience all this place had to offer. The cops that nod your way as you exit the venue are kind as well. This place doesn't appear to be an establishment of employees, but a community built upon responsibility and caring for one another - what a venue should be. I will be back, and I cannot wait to greet the faces of those who work so hard to make simple concerts so so special and memorable in ways that you just don't find just anywhere. read more

Went to the Steelhouse Omaha for a rock concert a friend invited me to. Rock isn't usually my go-to, but I still had a good time. The venue and sound system are impressive. It is loud, clear and you can feel it without feeling overwhelmed. There is also an outdoor area where you can hang out and socialize before the concert starts. The whole place is well set up for a fun evening out. Great experience and I hope to go back for another show. read more

Great venue. Came here to see Trey Kennedy on his comedy tour. Didn't try any food. Service was fast and easy. Ambiance is super nice with seating that is kinda tight. My girlfriend and I got to see Andrew Santino perform at Steelhouse. The venue is always well operated and well organized. You feel safe inside because there's multiple security officers to keep your security intact. The speakers inside were of course super loud but really added to the experience of seeing Santino perform (no matter if you're at the back or at the front, it felt like he was talking in front of you!) We visited Steelhouse for the first time this weekend to see a comedian. We bought tickets at the balcony level, not knowing this was considered the "club" level. I wish Steelhouse did a better job at advertising this since there were certain benefits we were unable to use (better parking, shorter line to get in.) The line to get in was INSANE. I'm talking around the building. For a venue this size, this seems to to point to some inefficiency in the check-in process. However, once we were in I was very impressed with the venue. It's a really cool vibe with plenty of bathrooms and bars. At the "club" level, AKA balcony seating, there are extra bars and bathrooms. I thought it was interesting that they also sell food. Others have commented that the drinks were expensive, but I found them comparable to other venues. Overall, this is a really nice mid-sized venue to bring great acts to downtown Omaha. read more

Went to my first show here on a Wednesday evening. The place is really easy to navigate its a nice small very well done venue. I was surprised how friendly and upbeat the staff seemed here, not something I'm used to. I like it. We started with seats in the back and the view was just fine but a staff member came around and offered us seats up in row three, that was very much appreciated. I think it was $15 each, and the venue guards approached a few of us and asked if we wanted a straw to go along with our drink, which really left us a positive impression of the staff members. For one its easy to get here! There is a parking garage right around the corner and multiple places to get drinks and food nearby. Staff is pretty friendly from the few times i had interactions getting drinks. The actual Stage area is mostly standing room but im sure they put chairs out depending on the show. There is a second tier installed seating. On the main floor there are bars on both sides! you seriously only have to walk like 20ft to get another drink haha! The restrooms are pretty big and right off the main areas. By the main entrance and bar area there is an outdoor area which is huge although the night i went luckily not many were outside because there was probably only 10 sporadic tables and chairs. read more

First time at Steelhouse, and I'm impressed. The structure is attractive, parking nearby is plentiful, and they have good shows. The staff is very good natured. Makes for a good evening for me. The space is very open. There's not a lot of seating, so wear comfortable shoes. There's outdoor space available too. The concert floor is large. Bigger than Slowdown. They can pull in larger acts that take more audience space. Plenty of bars, too. If you walk around, you can find a cocktail easily and fairly quickly. Only simple drinks, though. No Manhattans for me. I'll live. The sound is excellent. I was very impressed with the sound quality. Will definitely return. read more

What a neat venue! We came for a comedy show and luckily had great floor seats, but it doesn't seem like theres a bad seat in the house! It was very busy as folks were getting drinks and merch prior to the show, but good to know that there are THREE bars inside the actual venue. We opted for draft beer and then they had these really cute drink shakers that are souvenior cups and definitely worth the $22 price for the drink and keepsake. The sound was great and the lighting was good, there will be many memories made here. IDK who is inc harge of the merchandise lines but those working were really rude and aggressive so that was my only negative, I ended up not buying anything because I was being scolded for looking too long. My mother and I went to the Steelhouse for the first time last week for the Bush concert and it was a great experience. It's a smaller venue, which is always great IMO. There were a lot of restroom stalls so I didn't have to wait to use the restroom. (Not sure about the women's restroom though.) The prices are in line with concessions at other venues, but I didn't buy any. Check in was super easy, as well. I really like this venue and won't have an issue seeing a concert in the future here. read more

the food is okay, honestly i was expecting a cafe/restaurant situation but it's more like school/fast food, but it's not overly expensive only like $9 for a burger etc. the service was phenomenal, Leslie (front desk) and Jerry (security) Especially went above and beyond to be nice, there were also a handful of bartenders whose names i didn't catch, but they were so kind to me especially for it being my first time & me being confused on which specific bars were open throughout the night, they each very patiently guided me thru it lol bc the venue was a little more confusing then i expected it to be. it's an absolutely gorgeous building tho, & it was really fun how they used the band Coin's merch area as a place for the openers to do autographs & sell their own merch as well!! for a concert i randomly lucked into being able to attend, it was very very fun, and even tho i brought my own headphones i very much appreciate that earplugs were available on request bc as LOVELY as the music can be it's extremely loud up close!!! be safe and protect your ears lol. the patio area steelhouse has is also freakin beautiful, i very much look forwadd to attending more concerts here in the future based on just the venue alone. literally my only complaint is about the food by far because it seems like a hugely missed opportunity not to have an actual restaurant prep the available meals rather than whatever prepackaged & heated stuff currently available, especially considering the sheer amount of local, readily available downtown/high tier restaurants who would more than likely love to expand & cater for an Opa affiliated venue like this read more

Went to Steelehouse on November 5th 2023 to see Matt Rife. It was the perfect venue for a comedy show. Not super huge so everyone in the house could actually see the comedian and not have to watch on a jumbo screen. loved the whole set up BUT the drink prices were outrageous. I understand some of the drinks come with a cheepo little mixer glass but most of them never made it out of there because they were so cheap they cracked just from the ice.. Great venue for a more intimate experience. The layout is simple with both floor and balcony seating. We went for a comedy show and sat on the main floor. Excellent seats, but the seating was very tight. While the main floor seats were close and provided a great view, the venue is smaller so there isn't a bad seat in the house. There are three bars inside the seating area and one in the main entrance area. There is also a separate bar and restroom on the balcony level. Bar service was good and quick. They have some food items a available. Great addition to downtown. I'm looking forward to visiting again! read more

Saw Duran Duran in concert at Steelhouse Omaha. I was a little hesitant to buy tickets given they were general admission...not my favorite kind. Turned out pretty good actually! The acoustics were great...I could hear Simon LeBon clearly (ok, the fact he can still sing this well at 65 is pretty dang amazing) vs being muffled by the music. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It was easy to get in and out the parking lot next to the place. Drinks were pricey, but every venue has pricey drinks. Pro tip...if you actually want to see the performers then go early and stand behind the railing on the left side of the venue. It's elevated and you can see everything vs. having to crane your neck of you are up front. read more

Steelhouse ticket prices are extortionate. Steelhouse Omaha has very uncomfortable seating. The seats are cheap folding chairs, placed so close together that one's knees literally touch the chair backs of the next row. I expect better for a $140 ticket. The acoustics are fair to average. The sound board operator had the bass mixed too loud for both bands. The only positive things I can say about the Steelhouse are the bathroom was clean and there are comfortable chairs outside the theater where one can watch the show on small televisions. I watched most of the second band from outside the theater. YouTube videos at home provide a better experience at considerably less cost. I don't anticipate visiting the Steelhouse ever again. read more

First time at the Steelhouse, 10/18 Colter Wall concert, best concert I've been to in a while, and the Steelhouse is an amazing venue. It's not a cheap night, but everyone there running things, the bartenders, the security staff, the venue attendants directing or helping folks - everyone we interacted with were top shelf great. Everyone all the way through were informative, helpful, and friendly. The concert and venue, food, drinks, and such were amazing, but the customer service, and attention to making things an enjoyable experience are what will be bringing us back.
