There is parking all around the venue, $20 cash or Cash App. The price goes down the farther you get from the venue. There is an elevated area with food trucks and park bench seating. We spent literally all of the Randy Rogers' set waiting in line for a drink and had to watch it all from the wonderful vantage point of the drink line by the stage. About Forty-seven minutes in total. I go to concerts across Texas nearly every weekend, and I have never waited that long for ANYTHING before. Not a drink, not merch, not even a porta-potty. It was ridiculous. By the time we finally got our drinks, Turnpike was already well into their second song. I would've happily kept spending money at the bar, but not at the price of missing half the show. To make matters worse, as soon as the concert ended, staff immediately started kicking everyone out. There was no chance to hang out and sit down for a second, grab another drink if you wanted to spend the better part of an hour trying to get one, or even soak in the moment. This was my first event here, and I'm pretty confident in saying it'll be my last. The setting is cute, but the operations are a hot mess. If they want people to come back, they seriously need to figure out staffing, lines, and people flow because right now, they don't seem like they have it together. Judging from several other Yelp reviews Im seeing here I'm not the only one who ran into issues with the operations (or lack thereof) at the venue.

I've heard of this Red Dirt country music Mecca for years, but never had the chance to visit until…read morerecently. They attract a lot of regional bands representing the Texas music scene, the Red Dirt scene, etc. What they don't do is cater to the cookie cutter Nashville country sound. The bands that play here RAWK! The music venue is covered, very spacious, and it has large glass garage doors on each side that can be opened up for ventilation, or closed on those cold winter nights. They also have giant ceiling fans from the Big Ass Fan Company that keep you cool on hot summer nights. The sound system is superb, the stage lighting is awesome and all of the employees are even better! They have an outdoor deck with picnic table seating on each side of the concert hall, and they have a small indoor seating area as well. They have a full service kitchen, but I was there for the concert, so I can't comment on that aspect. I purchased tickets for the show ahead of time, and the line to get in was short and moved quickly - no complaints there. There's a bar located in the concert hall (which usually has long lines) and also a bar inside the dining area which is not too far away. I recommend using the indoor bar - it's a lot quicker. Just keep in mind that if you start a tab, you have to stick with the same bar. You can't move back and forth. They have plenty of good Texas and regional craft beer selections. Plenty of free parking right across the street. I give them five solid stars since I had zero complaints. #CaseyDonahewBand

Fast forward to today. I've seen some recent social media and an ad in the bend of the update and wanted to give it a try. It did NOT disappoint. The atmosphere, decor, service, drinks, food, and price point were all excellent. The drinks were great, the coconut shrimp may be the best in town. The happy hour specials may be the best in town as well. I'll be back for sure, we will likely be regulars. Don't miss out!

The Gold Fish has proven this long-held collective pessimism wrong. Originally a cocktail bar only, it has now expanded into a cocktail, beer and wine outdoor/indoor bar, which makes complete sense given the city's demographic demands. It was actually one of the first businesses I was most concerned with us losing permanently during the pandemic. And I am so glad they have stuck around! It is a modern cocktail bar at its core, which makes it very unique to this city. This is an obvious adoption of cocktail bar trends from other larger cities in Texas. It is very nice, with a wide array of adult beverage options for discriminating consumers to chose from. The atmosphere is perfect, and the bartenders and staff are top-notch and super nice (the attitude is refreshing compared to what one may be used to recieving from such establishments in larger cities). I usually only come here when I have company from out-of-town, as I do not go out for drinks very often. At my most recent visit, I had just experienced a personal tragedy that I only briefly alluded to our bartender when she asked how our day was going. The amount of sincere compassion we received was not expected at all. My only regret is that I did not get her name, or else I would have gladly included it in this review.
