Fun gastropub with amazing fish and chips!! Their coney dogs are also yummy!!! We're repeat customers!!! AlSO, outdoor tables are dog friendly!! We so support dog friendly establishments!! Chef is fun, too! Thank you Logan!!

Terrific place! Logan is awesome. This man knows his Detroit Coneys. I should have taken a picture of the coney island d but was more invested in meeting the man that brought a Detroit girl her dream.

In the culinary wasteland that is Corpus Christi, this is a shining gem serving up awesome New American goodness. Here's what makes this place standout. Food. High quality and consistent. Diverse and also very creative. Good cocktails as well. Service. Consistently conscientious. Management stays on top of things, and that helps drive a culture of good service. Waitstaff genuinely care about your dining experience. Location. Pretty cool downtown area. Located on the end corner of Mesquite Street. Atmosphere. Modern. Cool. Not overdone, cheesy, pretentious or cheap looking. Right on for what they're trying to be. They have an aesthetic and identity they proactively achieve. In my opinion, this is one of the best restaurants in town. If we have out of town visitors, we usually take them here.

Lots of bottled beers, especially of the local variety for which I'm after. 2 large glass fridges at each end of the bar. There are also draft beers. Of course lots of mixed drinks. Good young crowd. Monday night was open-mic night. Variety of performances. Came in late night, but what food pix I've seen, looked good.

    So many beers on tap!!!!

I was in town for a little staycation and found this hidden gem. The staff was friendly and awesome. I ordered the beef and chicken tacos with a side of guacamole and they did not disappoint. They were tasty and fresh. There was live music and the regulars were super friendly. Definitely a great place to visit. A second visit to check out open mic night introduced me to the pork tacos and waffle fries with a homemade aoli sauce that was amazing. The chef came out and chatted with us about their fresh ingredients and their menu options. Definitely worth a visit.

Love this place! It just feels comfortable as soon as you walk in. The entire menu sounds delicious. I've had the cheeseburger with bacon and egg on it, the chili and the Cuban sandwich. All were wonderful. And the staff makes sure you feel welcome and appreciated. This is also a music venue. Unfortunately they start at 9:00. Way too late for me. I'm going back to try more menu items.

This place started out awesome but then from there it changed!! The bartenders really don't pay attention to you unless they personal know u!! I had to get their attention everytime but everyone else got served right away!! Food is OK at dinner time nothing special!! I personally like the brunch they do a lot better than the dinner! It's a cool place to hang they have live music and other stuff! They have a upstairs area to relax in! It's a local business so I will still support it cause downtown need more places!! I will drink but not eat there!

Great food! I will definitely come back. The grilled cheese was really great with the jerk sauce. For us being the only ones in the restaurant service seemed to give us too long of a time to come back to take our orders. Use your yelp check in to get the free pork taco.

Wings! No next level wings! Probably the best wings I've had in Corpus! Seriously! Homemade ranch too!

Seriously this place is off the hook and I'm embarrassed it has taken so long to visit. Everything is homemade and fresh. Ranch, fried pickles, cornbread and literally everything else. If they gave a prize for fresh and amazing food this place would be 1st no questions asked. Forgot to add the service was great Danielle was a huge help.

The food is food the drinks are great and the live music is amazing! Service from the staff is top tier what you need in downtown Corpus Christi

I've been to the Exchange twice already. I have to say that I was quite impressed with the all you can eat Sunday Brunch. There was a great selection to choose from in which we tried a variety of good food. Made To Order Omelette ***** Cooked to perfection Smoked Salmon ***** Amazing! Snow Crab Legs ***** Yesss! Shrimp & Polenta ***** First time having this but it was pretty great. Bananas Foster French Toast *** Nothing special about this but still pretty good. Sausage and Potatoes **** Eggs Benedict ** - There wasn't enough hollandaise sauce and the hashbrowns were overcooked. May want to lower the heat and slowly increase it, when cooking these on a hot plate. The presentation was still pretty great. Biscuits and Sausage Gravy **** Basic but still really good. Who doesn't like biscuits and gravy? Sirloin Steak and Glazed Ham with Brown Sugar from the Carving Station*** Nothing special. The mimosas hit the spot as well. Tim and Sara were friendly and were very attentive. I will definitely go back again and recommend 100%.

NYE menu staying bottomless beer. Not mentioned is that it was only Bud Light. Classic bait and switch
    Gene B.

It just so happened that I ended up alone in Corpus Christi on New Year's Eve. I read an article about the 10 best places to celebrate NYE, and thought, what the heck, looks like a nice venue, bragging about all the beers they have, $75 gets me dinner and "bottomless wine, beer and champagne". Upon arriving, I am immediately charged $3 for a draft. "Oh, we only have that keg of Bud Draft included, nothing else." I have a screenshot from their website. Nothing is mentioned about only Bud Light. I guess there was equally lousy wine to swill down. I waited for thirty minutes at a long table with strangers. Felt like a wedding of some distant relative. No food. Several passes by wait staff for drink orders. Most folks seemed to eager to get up sold, and purchased better drinks. As the food finally appears, the smell is not good. I left. $75 for a glass of Bud light. Where I come from such a practice is called BAIT AND SWITCH. Even when I pointed this out, they could not be shamed into an honest business practice. They should be ashamed to act in a way that makes them look like liars and cheats. I plan on telling everyone I know who has anything to do with Corpus, craft beer, music or lousy food masquerading as tasty.

Came on a Sunday with my toddler, and it was very busy so I expected a bit of a wait on things. I have been here before for Sunday brunch with a large group and had a good experience, but today was not great. Got seated after only about 15 mins - totally reasonable. After that, multiple things went wrong. 1- I was initially given a high chair with a broken buckle, so I didn't fasten the straps and my toddler slipped down through the opening. She was ok, thankfully, and we got another one with working buckle. 2 - lots of flies. I felt like I was fighting them for my food. At one point I counted 5 at a time. 3 - I wasn't given utensils when I was seated or at the same time as my food. My food was served, then I had to wait for the waitress, then wait for the utensils. 5 mins of calming the hungry screaming toddler and watching our food cool down was not very cool. Same thing happened to the table next to me. 4 - they ran out of cups, and my coffee was served in a styrofoam cup with a plastic spoon. It tasted like plastic and I didn't enjoy it. When I saw that I was charged $4 for it, I asked the waitress to strike it from my bill, which she did. Individually these things were not a big deal, but overall it was just not great. I believe the waitress was just overwhelmed and doing her best.

You can tell that the chef(s) pour their heart into eat dish prepared. My mother in law and I both ordered salads and my wife ordered the snapper tacos and we all ate every single bite! The ambiance is great for a casual family meal and there is also a bar area as well. My only suggestion is for the restaurant to please oh please put a bit into upgrading the bathrooms. It really is a disservice to the customers and experience when some of the stalls don't close and the toilets are literally falling apart and closed with plastic instead of the normal parts they should be. However, we will be back and recommend it to others for a great casual meal with excellent food, good service and reasonable prices!

He is usually a pretty good judge of restaurants, so I trusted his recommendation. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake. Our server, A.K.--whom my dad has affectionately called "A.K. 47" for years--was wonderful. She was friendly, attentive, and did an excellent job. If you decide to visit, I would highly recommend asking to sit in her section. I ordered the oyster and shrimp plate, and unfortunately, it was disappointing. The shrimp were acceptable, although I have certainly had better. The oysters, however, were gritty with dirt and did not appear to have been properly cleaned before being fried. Both the shrimp and oysters were coated in a flour-and-cornmeal batter. It was fine, but nothing memorable. The coleslaw had absolutely no flavor, and I'm honestly not sure why they bothered serving it. I wish I had taken a picture of the plate because the presentation was just as unimpressive as the meal. That said, I was not expecting anything fancy, so perhaps I should not have expected much more. The atmosphere was typical for this type of restaurant--casual, basic, and nothing fancy. It appeared clean enough and was generally what you would expect from a place like this. Overall, the excellent service from A.K. was the highlight of the visit, but the food was not good enough for me to return.
