I haven't ever been put under a heat lamp before but it seemed to really speed up the process. I also got the brightness I wanted without the brassy undertones. However, my hair has never been more dried out. My boyfriend has been rubbing coconut oil in it for me and that will help for a couple days before he does it again. Which I really enjoy him doing, but do not enjoy the tangles that come with dry hair. Perhaps next visit I'll plan an earlier appointment and just wait it out while color sets and avoid the heat. But overall very happy! The salon is very cute too and I like the products she used!

Prior to scheduling an appointment with Ms. Stephanie, I called her on the phone and informed her that my hair was a HOT ASS MESS! I got my hair done on Saturday by someone else and lets just say...it looked like my hair was done two months ago (sad, but true). Ms. Stephanie advised me on what to do and scheduled me an appointment the same week to prevent my hair from falling out. I came to see Ms. Stephanie right after work and she was pleasant, friendly and a great conversationalist. My hair went from a hot mess to FLYYY, SEXII and SOPHISTICATED! My layers were so short and my hair got thinned out. I didn't even ask for that style of haircut. It was so frayed. The layers were so choppy. If I pulled hair from both sides of my head neither of the lengths would be even. So bad!!! Naomi was the first to respond and the first choice I wanted so I booked with her! She was able to get me in the next day after the terrible haircut experience. Upon walking in she greeted me with so much warmth and I just immediately trusted her with my hair. She was able to cut my hair short to even out the work the previous salon did but told me to come back in 3 months to allow my hair to grow to get a recut. I made another appointment with her 2 months in because I was tired of waking up and hating my hair. She immediately responds. During my 2nd appointment with her we both agreed to go shoulder length short. I absolutely love my hair now.
