We always like to scope out the best coffee spots ahead of time. Little Owl did not disappoint! First, it's always difficult to find ceremonial grade Matcha wherever you go. Most of the time it's Matcha mixed with a bunch of other stuff and at best it's culinary grade. The Matcha here was vibrant in color, smooth and slightly nutty. I elected to sweeten it with simple syrup and had it Americano. My husband opted for a vanilla latte with oat milk and while we've stopped at several places so far, this is the best latte we've had on our roadtrip. They make all of their syrups in house and the coffee was smooth and not bitter. The cafe is small and quaint. It does open up into a larger building with additional seating. Customer service was on point, and we even joked about the different types of Matcha and how some places use a ton of fillers and sugar.

They also have some delicious buns and pastries that you can enjoy inside or out. Lots of seating options. They always have a line, but it is a testament to how great this spot is. It is a great spot to stop at for your morning drink and snack, fairly loud so socializing here is easy but studying or working may require headphones.
