It's a craft coffee shop and boutique plant store in one -- and somehow both sides of that equation feel equally intentional rather than one being an afterthought. The menu leans into lavender lattes, Vietnamese iced coffee, and chai, alongside croissants and breakfast burritos -- a lineup that reflects the shop's AAPI-owned roots and a clear point of view on what coffee can be. The Vietnamese iced coffee in particular earns its reputation: rich, layered, and grounding in a way that a standard cold brew just isn't. The lavender latte is a regular on people's standing orders for good reason. The seating situation is worth noting -- swing chairs and limited spots mean arriving early on weekends pays off. The person taking my order was very friendly and welcoming. I got a lavender latte with macadamia nut milk (which I highly recommend) it was nice and creamy and paired well with the lavender. We like to go to the Cherry Tomato across the street because it was the Park Hill Drug Store when I lived on the block, but it doesn't open until later. I had the Vegetarian Green Chili, and found it to be as good, or better than any similar chili I've had in my entire life. I also had a plain, black coffee - dark roast - and it, too, was perfect. Most of all, I enjoyed looking around, watching the world go by, and enjoying these fine products in a friendly, comfortable, and inviting environment. There is plenty of room to move around, they do a good job of keeping things clean, and all of the staff are very nice, and accommodating. I do not live close to here, but I would come in every day if I did. I definitely will come back, and I definitely will recommend it to everyone I know. We LOVED it.

It was a bit pricey at $12 but I regret absolutely nothing. The only thing keeping me from full marks is that it's not super stroller/baby friendly and these days that's important to me.
