In the last few months, I have been doing morning & afternoon walks thru the neighborhoods near my house. I have walked past Rosebud Cafe several times. I learned they opened in 2016, so a longtime local business that survived Covid. Nice tight menu of cold & hot drinks, light breakfast and lunch items. Also a wide range of black, green and herbal teas. Very pleasant staff. I got a dirty chai with a shot of expresso with a yummy looking cinnamon roll. I added their avocado toast on sourdough with chopped red onion and feta cheese topped with Cholula sauce. I added 2 eggs over medium. Very good. They have free WiFi. I saw 4 persons on their laptops. Several people came in for takeout. I was served by Stephanie. I joined their rewards program. The music over the sound system was pleasant. read more

Needed to quickly to grab a bite to eat during my lunch break and found this cute little neighborhood spot! It wasn't too busy even at this time; there were still tables available both inside and outside and quite a few people seemed to be doing remote work. I got the cold turkey sandwich, nothing special but was great for me to grab on the go. The baristas were extremely friendly and the space was clean and homey. Ordered an oatmilk cortado and a slice of the banana chocolate chip bread - both items hit the spot! The espresso was nice and smooth, the oatmilk perfectly steamed. The ban bread was moist and flavorful, I think it had nuts in it which I loved for a surprise! The server mentioned they make all their pastries in house and even offer breakfast burritos. My visit was towards the afternoon so if anything- def need to come back to try the savory food. Not too many chairs inside but I adored that there was seating outside. I was in the neighborhood visiting Denver and enjoyed lunch at Rosebud Cafe twice. Their coffee, sandwiches, and customer service are all very good. The first day, I had a tasty tuna sandwich on sourdough bread. The tuna sandwich was fresh and delicious. On my second visit, someone recommended their hot turkey sandwich with pesto. This sandwich was excellent! Probably the best hot sandwich that I have eaten in a long time. The clean cafe has ample room inside, with tables and chairs along the perimeter outside. They serve sandwiches, salads, & all sorts of sweet treats like scones, cookies, and various pastries. The coffees and teas are popular choices here. I had a strong cup of coffee on my second visit. In the morning, Rosebud Cafe can get busy. Omar rang my order up and had my lunch ready within five to seven minutes. Thanks to Omar for his friendly customer service! On my next visit to Denver, I will make sure to stop here for a cup of coffee and sandwich. read more

Oh my god this place was a LIFESAVER. After a long night the only thing I wanted was a cortado that would bring me back from the dead. By a stroke of luck we chose this place on our way to the mountains and I'm so happy we did. I would be remiss if I didn't mention my queen Stephanie who was our barista. After an extensive conversation about the concert the night before (SWEAT tour) I told her that I needed a cortado with a yummy flavor and something sweet. She directed me to their house made cinnamon brown sugar syrup which was beyond delish and their pumpkin pecan muffin. You guys I'm not exaggerating when I say this was the best pumpkin muffin I had (no pictures because I actually inhaled it so fast). I wanted to get another warm drink for our drive up to the mountains so Steph and I chatted for a bit before deciding that she would make me a chai. Hole Lee Sh!T this is the best chai I've ever had. They make it in house ? And it takes like four days and girl it's so worth it. We loved it so much we came back the next day before leaving for home. So happy to see my queen Steph working again. We kiki'd some more and this time I ordered the veggie burrito which is prepared fresh by the onsite chef. I had to get another cortado and a chai except this time I went with iced and it was still so good however I would recommend it hot for the first time. The cherry on top was finding Lauren Conrad's 2010 book 'Style' in which she gives her ultimate guide to finding your personal style, what jeans work best with what shoe, color theory, and more. As an avid fan of The Hills I was not going to leave the cafe without it. So I talked to Steph and inquired about it and then she told me I could have it! And then she told me that no one has even touched that book since Lauren Conrad herself brought it in and I just think that alone is deserving of a five star review. My husband and I had a wonderful morning at Rosebud. We were staying in the area while visiting Denver and needed to get some work done so we headed to Rosebud cafe. We were greeted by smiling patrons who kindly lead us and suggested a delicious tea combination. I ended up getting pomegranate, lemon verbena, and rose leaves, which was the perfect cozy and tasty mix. I asked to personalize a bagel sandwich and they were happy to make it to my liking. I absolutely love Rosebud. They are conveniently located close to downtown. The staff is always so friendly and always greet me with a smile. I absolutely love their dirty chai!! I have had their bulletproof coffee and then I wanted to try more of their menu so the next time I came in, I ordered their dirty chai. Love this sweet little cafe! Calming ambiance, yummy coffee and they will pretty much make you whatever you like! Rosebud cafe is such a hidden gem!! I moved to Denver a few months ago and this place has become a holy grail. The staff is amazing, knowledgable, and make everything from scratch. Came here to work remote one day because it is so cute looking and such a good location. It has a great vibe and good outdoor tables. However, the coffee was not good. Seemed watered down and the place just seems overall dirty. The bathrooms, the thick dust collecting, tables not being washed, splatters on the walls by the trash can and just wear and tear all over the place. It could use a good scrub and some touch up paint and this place would have a whole new vibe. Just not a great impression and seemed dirty enough we def did not eat here. read more

Solid little neighborhood cafe to grab breakfast and hang out. Modern and clean interior. They have quite a few coffee and tea selections, plus a few limited breakfast and lunch offerings. We grabbed a black coffee and black tea plus the bagel + lox and an egg sandwich. They ran out of bagels and asked if I wanted to sub sourdough bread instead which I was fine with. It was still tasty! The cup of tea was large as was the coffee. Prices were reasonable for a local place. I would recommend checking it out for an early morning bite or caffeine fix. read more

I've walked past countless times and perused their online menu, but today was the first time I actually stopped in. What was I waiting for? Adorable space, friendly staff, and quick service. I went with the bagel with feta, walnuts, and veggies (see pic). So unique and delicious, and everything was fresh. Rosebud is about a 10 min walk from my home in Baker, and it'll definitely be in my regular rotation from now on. Highly recommended! read more

I love Rosebud! My favorite local spot tucked away on the corner of Penn and 1st. The staff is consistently warm and welcoming, the outdoor seating is shady and pleasant in the warm weather, and the indoor seating is cozy and comfortable. Ever since this place opened up a few years ago, it's been my favorite cafe. It's not in the middle of downtown denver, so can definitely find parking without having to pay a meter. I've watched this place absolutely flourish. It used to be specialized in tea and small snacks, but now it has an entire food menu. I highly recommend the Mediterranean platter or the lox bagel! My go to tea is a black tea base with chrysanthemum. You have the choice of getting a cup of tea, or get the entire pot, which they'll keep warm for you over a candle. The atmosphere is cozy. Lots of places to sit and has two clean bathrooms. I can't recommend this place enough. And if you're not convinced yet, this place is family owned! I've been wanting to try out this little cafe since I moved to the area. It's right on the corner of 1st and Pennsylvania, a whopping two blocks from my new place. But praised be that coffee is so close. I'm not a huge tea person, but all I need is a strong cold brew and they've got it here! I also ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese and it was toasted to perfection and smothered in a perfect amount of cream cheese. I was very content. My boyfriend ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo. Of course I had to have a bite and honestly wish I ordered one of those for myself! It was sooo yummy! Always hesitant to try this place because it's listed as a tea cafe but I sure am glad I stopped in. They use Pablo's coffee, another local roaster/shop (also really good), and they brew it as close to perfect as you can get! Interior is modern in style, white paint, and windows galore. Ample outdoor seating with large trees for a beautiful shady mid-day coffee break on a quiet intersection is something that can't be beat here. Latte index: 5/5. So delicious. Milk cuts bitter acidity of coffee perfectly with just the right amount of sweetness and foam. $3.75 for a medium is a great deal for the area. Staff was i super friendly too. In the midst of all this covid hysteria, we were able to sit inside and enjoy a nearly perfect cup of java. What can beat that! read more

My neighborhood spot and I couldn't love it anymore if I tried. Rosebud has everything you need. A wide variety of breakfast and lunch items served all day as well as ice cream, bottled drinks, and a wide variety of loose leaf teas and coffee drinks. There is a full espresso bar and a very hard working and engaging staff. The owner is amazing and you can tell she takes great pride in hiring great people and serving quality product. There in and outdoor seating with a few community tables. Grab a friend, or make a new one, and dig in. I've been a fan since I moved nearby over a year ago and I don't see that changing anytime soon. My only complaint is they close at 4pm but it's not worth a full star ding.
