From the beginning, Alex (the owner) impressed us with his thoughtful planning, clear communication, and confident approach to a destroyed yard: a post-construction disaster zone wherein our entire quarter-acre plot of land was turned into a pit of uneven, impacted mud. Our project involved building a retaining wall, grading, improving drainage, and hauling away a large dump truck of poor quality fill dirt. It was a tough job, but they handled it with incredible professionalism and skill from start to finish. Not only did they tackle the hard work with skill and efficiency, but they also went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right--down to the last detail, suggesting water timers and tripod sprinklers that worked well. Their team was professional, and respectful. The dumpster company he hired accidentally knocked over my mailbox. I texted him about it the evening I noticed it; it was replaced by the next morning. Also, Alex genuinely seemed to care about the outcome, calling and later stopping by after a week to check the progress. The end result was even better than we imagined. What was once a sad and frustrating yard is now beautiful, usable, and a joy to spend time in again. They are truly service-oriented from the moment you reach out to them, and it starts with Dan. He's friendly, responsive and provides detailed estimates immediately for whatever work is needed. We have a 5-zone sprinkler system with a combination of drip lines and sprinklers in the front and backyard. It's a funky arrangement that needed a serious upgrade. His crew (Marvin and Jose) are miracle workers! They are real problem solvers who managed to reroute some existing sprinkler lines, fix several hidden leaks and provide more water coverage in several zones. Marvin and Jose are a joy to watch. They really enjoy their work and it shows. Marvin will even sing while he's putting in new drip lines or tying off others, and nothing seems to faze him. Both men are polite, courteous and appreciative of drinks and snacks while they work. They say "Thank you, so much" every time. After spending the entire day at our home, we tested the system and everything worked well, but there were a few dry spots I noticed the next day. Dan came by today to collect payment and I showed him the areas where water wasn't quite reaching and he said, "No problem."
