I spend a good deal of my time online for both personal and professional purposes, but I make it a point not to get too involved with reviews. I read them with skepticism and rarely write one. That being said, I am making an exception to my avoidance of reviews to congratulate and give thanks to JB Moving Services for the outstanding service they have provided us this year. I will post the following review on the various websites you listed in your email. JB Moving Services is truly an exceptional company that has provided my wife and me outstanding moving and storage services in spite of the extremely difficult conditions of 2020. My wife and I, both in our 70's, have lived in the town of Old Greenwich CT for 30 years. We were referred to JB Moving by a good friend and neighbor who said, "don't bother checking out other companies, just call Frank Maro at JB." It was the best advice we could have gotten. From the beginning of our moving process in February, Frank Maro, VP Sales has been responsive to all our questions and concerns. February 2020, with the onset of COVID19, was a difficult time to sell a home and move of course. Nothing happened for months and then in June the real estate market awoke and we really had to move fast. We had much too much furniture and objects to move to our down-sized West Coast home, but Frank guided us through this process in a very persistent yet respectful and understanding manner.  Frank and JB helped us deal with all phases of this process: the uncertainties of COVID19, self storage issues, PODS rentals. Finally, when Frank and his crew came to pack up our house they were like a symphony orchestra with their teamwork, precision and speed. All our anxieties about ancient grandfather clocks, 120 year old grand piano, 100 year old brass London street lantern, etc. faded. My previous experiences with various companies were mixed. I found that many relied on temporary employees to a great extent. The JB team was truly a well trained group. They were efficient and careful to the ultimate degree. When they were done, the house was empty and yet quite clean.  My wife and I have moved across the country twice and from Europe once. As a rule, I have found moving to be a truly painful and difficult matter. With JB Moving Services, it has been a much smoother and well organized process. I'm sure you're aware of how good Anthony and his team are, but after having worked with JB several times, I was blown away by this group. I was disappointed that we weren't getting our previous team, which was very good, and that we weren't notified as such, but boy did we luck out. Anthony is a true leader and knows how to do his job well, and make the day as fun as it possibly can be. Moving day is never a fun day in the best of circumstances but Anthony knows how to anticipate everything that might come up and never loses focus or patience. We had a lot of stuff and were not sure what to do with it all, but Anthony never expressed frustration with a lack of decisions or the enormity of the mess made by the movers in Chicago where much of the inventory came from. The team was diligent and hard working, kind and generous during both days. On top of everything else, they had a great sense of humor and kept the day upbeat and positive. It probably sounds like I'm gushing, but I have run out of words to express my absolute satisfaction and endorsement of this team. They are worth everything and Anthony and you are to be commended for putting an extraordinary team together like this one. I wouldn't hesitate recommending JB Moving and the Anthony team. I have moved throughout New York City probably 10 times. In all those many difficult, stressful situations -- NO ONE has come close to the service, professionalism, courtesy, promptness and care than JB Moving. I was literally stunned with gratitude at the company's quick response to my initial calls to the precision, care and speed with which they managed to move all my belongings safely into storage -- in the middle of extreme weather warnings, torrential rain and gale force winds. It was an extraordinarily difficult & last-minute job and they handled everything with great ease. Every single member of the team was considerate, kind and gave 100 percent the entire day. On 2/6/19 , we hired Will Huntting @ JB Moving and his excellent crew : Ray Palazzo, Louis Gonzalez and John Fasolino , to move an Extremely Heavy White Painted Antique Bedroom set including a Brass Bed from New Canaan CT to New Jersey . They were punctual,courteous and a very efficient crew. I was impressed with the care they took , wrapping all the pieces entirely with blankets and reinforcing them with a plastic wrap. Needless to say, that all the furniture pieces arrived safely and promptly without a scratch to its destination. There were no surprises at the end ,the bill was consistent with the estimate . I would definitely refer them to friends and family and used them again in the future. They were referred to us through our realtor. read more

One of the kindest and most professional delivery/moving companies I have had the pleasure of working with. I work in property management, so I tend to deal with moving companies frequently. I find that they can be very unreliable and not willing to be flexible for unexpected schedule changes. However, JB Moving has really set the bar high for all other moving companies. They were so easy to work with, very communicative since I was not home when they arrived, happy to reschedule when the original delivery date was disrupted by a snow storm (came the next day!), and just an all-around great service. JB Moving did a fantastic job. Lou Cousens was great. When I phoned, he came immediately to the house, gave a thorough estimate and it was booked in one day!. The crew arrived about 10 minutes early. They were superb! Worked consistently, was very careful with my belongings and breakables and items I wrapped already that they felt were not wrapped enough - fixed them. This move has been particularly stressful and to see the level of professionalism, care and making this as positive of an experience it can be, made all the difference. JB Moving is just excellent. I have moved my business and family members with them 5 times over the last 5 years. That were efficient, helpful, pleasant and careful. I would never consider using anyone else. For our business move, they helped get us into one and out of another large NYC office building in the middle of a snowstorm. On a personal level, they have moved my son twice and also disposed of some items that did not fit in my son's new apartment in Brooklyn. In addition, they took apart some bookshelves that wouldn't fit going up the stairs and then reassembled them in the apartment without complaint. Highest possible recommendation. read more

They know how to package and store things. When I moved, another mover had my couch on it's side in storage and things piled high on top of it. The movers quickly and efficiently packed everything onto the truck and had it unloaded in my new apartment in only a few hours. As someone who's worked in the moving industry for a while I know a good moving company when I get one. JB Moving is outstanding. They beat 3 other companies estimates, were super careful with all my items and the workers were professional and courteous. My move included a nice sized safe and Baby Grand piano and both items arrived in perfect condition! We had a complicated (to us, but not to JB Moving) move, downsizing from a 5 bedroom house. We had to send things to storage, our new apt., to our children, and to another residence.
