It absolutely would've been a five star review, if I had gotten what I ordered. I ordered on the restaurants website for takeout. Got 2 pizzas, a Greek goddess (no walnuts), a fried pepperoni, a French dip, fried artichoke carts, and brussels sprouts. Food was ready on time and the staff that greeted me was friendly. Unfortunately, when I got home, there were walnuts all over the Greek goddess. The person who had ordered the Greek goddess cannot have walnuts, so a lot of switching of meals occurred. As a result, everyone ended up somewhat satisfied, but not very pleased. An unfortunate situation for what was overall a pretty great experience. If only they would read the comments about adjustments on the items that were ordered. At least I know to check before I walk out next time. read more

I've been craving Italian food ever since I started watching The Sopranos, so pizza was a must. Solid wine list. I tried two reds (Pinot Noir) both excellent, and the Old Fashioned held its own. In a failure of pizza math, we ordered both The Fried Pepperoni and The Buzz, forgetting that 13-inch pizzas aren't exactly personal-sized. Luckily, both pies were fantastic with a chewy hand-tossed crust and a nice sprinkle of Parmesan, though the bottoms were a bit more charred than I prefer. Service felt a bit rushed at the beginning--we were asked if we were ready to order almost as soon as we sat down--but the staff was attentive throughout the rest of the meal. We arrived right at opening and had great service from Kenzie--friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Started with the fried artichokes--good, but nothing I'd go back for. The highlight was the Brie Burger. Cooked perfectly with a juicy center, and the combination of melted brie and bacon/onion jam brought great flavor--rich and well balanced. That said, at $18, it's on the higher end for a burger, and while it was very good, it's probably not one I'd order again at that price. We ate ate Tipsy Tomato for the first time. This is in the same building where I grew up eating at Nomad's. It has been completely remodeled and is very nice. We split a calzone and each had a salad, one Caesar and one house garden salad. The salads were fresh and the Caesar dressing was perfect, not too much, just enough to taste but not overpowering the romaine. The husband had blue cheese. It had to be homemade, full of chunks of blue cheese in a fresh sour cream base. The croutons were also homemade, nice and crispy. The calzone was HUGE, loaded with sausage, pepperoni, mozzarella and perfectly seasoned. Their pizza dough is the best I've had in OKC. It came with a side of marinara and a garlic aioli for dipping. The owner checked on us and brought out a house special pizza to try. I think he said it was the Greek Goddess. It was loaded with fig, caramelized pears, candied walnuts, feta and arugula. Alert! NEW pizza spot in town! Located off of May Ave in the old Ned's Starlite Lounge location, there is parking on the side & back of building. I think there is also an extra lot in the back. Walked in on a Friday evening just past 6pm & there were quite a few patrons dining. Seated myself at the cute bar & was promptly greeted by the bartender. I ordered a Pacifico draft, caesar salad & the hot honey pepperoni pizza. Sooooo yummy!!! They serve the little cup pepperonis that are perfectly salted & crispy. I tried their ranch to dip my crust & it was perfect! Service was quick & the staff is very helpful! I even met the sweet owner that was working alongside her staff. Wonderful humans & very well priced! Plenty of TVs within view of most seating, great spot to catch a sports game. They have happy hour M-F 4-6p & live music on Friday evenings starting at 8p. My partner and I strolled in on a weekday evening, it wasn't too busy. It looked very clean and inviting, plenty of room. We ordered the salami and pesto bruschetta board that came with 4 grilled, seasoned pieces of bread cut in threes topped with basil pesto and salami. It was a little on th3 salty side but I really enjoyed the flavor of the bread. This "bruschetta" contains no tomato product. I ordered the cheesesteak and my partner the French drip. The food came out quickly but all of it was on the saltier side. My partner didn't use the dip because it intensified the saltiness. The service at the bar were great and the drinks were good and I'm willing to give it another chance but my partner feels otherwise. I will start by saying that I am very picky about pizza. The sauce has to be just right, the crust has to be really good, and the toppings have to be generous. We ate at Tipsy Tomato for the first time today (1/2/2026), and we shared a Buzz pizza- with sausage, pepperoni, prosciutto, red onions, and Greek olives... We were big fans of Nomad so when we saw Tipsy Tomato opened in that building, we knew we had to try it. The first thing we noticed was their outdoor patio. It is completely private and shaded from the evening sun. Very nice. The indoor decor was top rate. They have mosaic walls of televisions with sports airing. And the bar is deluxe. Neat, comfy furniture too. Our server was sweet and knowledgeable and anticipated our every need. We started off with fried artichoke hearts which we both enjoyed. We ordered a pizza to share next. The sauce they use on the pizza is definitely original. With the name being Tipsy Tomato I was hoping for a very tomatoey sauce, but it wasn't. Seemed more like a marinara. We had wanted to try out the Tipsy Tomato and today was the day. Located on north May Ave the Tipsy Tomato is in the former Ned's starlight lounge. The interior has a fresh mid-century vibe, well air-conditioned, with a great bar, and plenty of dinning seating. The waitress was super helpful and consistently on point. Our large group ordered the French toast, Salmon Benedict, cheese pizza, caprese platter, brie board, fried artichoke, wings, French dip sandwich, and a cheese burger. WOW! The food arrived in short order and we dug in. Everyone agreed that the fried artichokes were delicious. A light crispy crust with a zingy dip. The caprese platter was just right for those who prefer a more neutral palette. The Brie board was served with sliced apples & figs, sourdough toast, with the melted Brie. Just scrumptious. We loved the French dip sandwich. The Salmon Benedict was devine. There was a big thumbs up for the burger and pizza. The wings were judged just okay & could have been anybody else's wings. Over all a very special meal. A tip of the hat to Mercedes our waitress. The world needs more servers of her quality. The Tipsy Tomato zooms to the top of our Sunday brunch list.
