Michael Crooks was very responsive as a company rep and everything he quoted was delivered just as he said. The quality of the shower is excellent and we love the Koehler fixtures. We chose black on white to assist those with visual deficits and really like how they turned out! The fold down seat is also a plus for those with endurance challenges! The demolition andinstallation team of Jose, Gabriel and Jairo could not have done a better job! They were timely, efficient and professional. They demolished the shower and tub one day and took away all the debris. Then, the next day, they built the frame and installed the new walk in shower exactly as we requested. They were pleasant to have on our property and we're considerate in where they set up their workstation and parked their trucks. We did have a challenge posed by the installation day with company coming to visit us... And they worked out a mutually agreed upon date that met our needs. I highly recommend this company.. ask for this team of installers! You won't regret it!!

(This review includes a response to the business owner's reply)…read more I had a deeply disappointing experience with Paul's Windows, and I want to share it so that other homeowners know what to expect before working with this company. I reached out for a small bedroom window replacement and had one key requirement: that the new window, once installed, provide a minimum clear opening height of 13 inches. The sales associate, Art, confirmed via text that the manufacturer (Crystal Pacific) said it would: 13.1875", in fact. That was fine by me. But when I asked for that specification to be confirmed in the contract, in writing, Art refused. Let me be clear: I wasn't asking for a personal warranty on the product. I simply wanted confirmation that the installed window, as ordered and managed by Paul's Windows, would meet the functional requirement I had clearly communicated. Art repeatedly deflected, referring to "what the manufacturer said," but was unwilling to take responsibility for the result. When I asked for accountability, he became dismissive and eventually walked away from the job. I contacted Paul directly, hoping for a more professional response. Instead, I received a generic brush-off and a claim that the window wouldn't meet the specs, which contradicts what their own sales associate had already confirmed. Worse, Paul didn't acknowledge or engage with any of the valid concerns I raised around basic customer service, transparency, or professional responsibility. Ultimately, I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was hiring a company to manage a job and deliver a specific result. If something went wrong, say, the manufacturer provided a window that didn't meet the spec, it would be on the contractor to resolve it, not on me to go chase down the supplier. That's what any responsible company would do. But Paul's Windows made it clear they don't see it that way. If you're okay with vague communication, contractors who won't stand behind their own work, and potentially being left to deal with problems on your own, maybe this company is fine. But if you want clarity, professionalism, and accountability in writing, then look elsewhere. § Paul's response below is a classic damage control move -- polite on the surface, but full of deflection and quiet rewriting of events. To clarify: the window in question would have met the required 13" clear opening. That wasn't in dispute. Art, their sales associate, confirmed that in writing and was fully prepared to proceed with the job -- until I asked for a simple written accountability. That's the moment everything fell apart. Paul's follow-up misrepresents the timeline and sidesteps the core issue -- not whether the window would fit, but whether the company was willing to stand behind the result they were being paid to deliver.

Unfortunately, once they get the job they do not really want it. After changing an appointment to do the final measurement (which can happen) he made another appointment for the next morning. That morning prior to the set time he called and said they could not do the job. The "boss" told him to cancel because they got a bigger job and they could not make time for my job. This was not a cracked window job--it was a full day's worth of work. Apparently satisfying a customer who they said they were happy to see liked to employ local businesses rather than big chains was not really what they are all about. I cannot attest to the quality of their work since they do not show up. However, if you want to do business with a company that will actually provide you with service this is not the place to go.

I went in there on 3 different times, and every time the stories changed. Ended up going to a bigger more corporate type company and definitely felt the difference in professionalism and expertise. I tried to do the right thing and buy at small business and help local vendors but with this type of treatment no wonder they don't grow. I work in the customer service industry and my advice to this place is to try to hear out your customer, and their needs before you start to question them. Try to understand that, we are not contractors or handy guys, we don't know your lingo. We are just regular people looking for someone to help and explain the process. If we walk in your door it's because we have a need, and if you make us feel stupid and belittle someone for not knowing the exact type of window or brand or frame angle.....? Well definitely not go back nor refer anyone there.
