My windows were old had many issues and I was done spending more money on their repairs. I wanted to replace them all but didn't want to have issues like my sister where the installer blamed the manufacturer for an issue and the manufacturer blamed the installer and neither took responsibility to repair it. So I went looking for local company that was both manufacturer and installer of replacement windows. Pacific Vinyl Windows met the criteria. It's a local family run company in Whittier that manufactures their own windows. They stood above the others I had found in the area. They had the windows I wanted at a fair price. They installed 7 windows and 2 sliding glass doors in my home. They replaced a large window in the bedroom with a sliding glass door, an upgrade I wanted for a very long time and I didn't have to get another contractor to get it done (huge positive). They were also very helpful in suggesting a different design that worked much better. My large sliding glass door was 3 panels with middle panel slider, and Rick suggested making it 2 large panels instead with opening on one side. This worked out to a much improved design and flow, gave more room for my dining area. They manufactured the windows on time and installation went as planned. Importantly they didn't cause a mess in the home, put down floor drop cloths and cleaned up everything after. I'm very satisfied with their windows and installation. I've had the new windows for a few months now and they all work well without any issues. These windows have made a big difference in heating and cooling my home and I anticipate a big savings in my utilities (specially in the summer). I don't know how my wife came across Pacifica Vinyl Windows but I'm glad she did. For a couple years we have been planning on replacing our old windows in our new home and this year we finally decided to get a few quotes to make a decision. From the start, Raul from Pacifica kept it professional. He was insightful and very knowledgeable about what our options were. I did do my homework and knew exactly what we wanted but Raul helped solidify our decisions as we waited for his quote. Out of all the quotes we received Pacifica's was the best and most professional. Everything was broken down from who is their vinyl supplier to the point that they would pick up their trash on installation. Raul also constantly kept in contact in case we had questions. This was a big deal for us because the other window companies we were dealing with were downright unprofessional. We either had to constantly travel to their business to get answers to our questions because they don't answer their phone or just call and bug them to get our quote after they came out to measure our windows. I mean, window's aren't cheap so if those other companies wanted our business they should treat their customers like Pacifica does. It took a couple of weeks from accepting the quote to the installation date but that was due to one special window that had to be ordered. We decided to go with Pacifica's Royal Series Single Hung Double Pane Windows and get them installed as a block-frame retro fit installation. I wanted to keep our window sills and I knew vinyl wrapping them was an option so we went with that too. The installation was done in one day for over 10 windows and everything was completed just as promised on the contract. The end result was great. We feel like the windows make our house look so much better compared to what we had before. We look foward to the insulating capabilities during the hot summer days. Overall, we're extremely happy with the end result and are glad we went with Pacifica for our windows. I know we have a long way to go but these windows are a great start to our restoration. read more

We actually were referred to Raul and his crew at Pacifica Vinyl a while back but didn't take advantage of it until recently; because we were on the fence about making such a big decision as we had just replaced our door. But we were so happy that once we decided to change our windows out, that we went with Pacifica because they did an EXCELLENT job and exceeded our expectations. Raul was very patient with us as we can get quite picky with our window type selection and our decision to go ahead with the workup. Pacifica installed a total of 10 windows; one of them being a sliding door and the other, changing a current sliding door into a window (I could count the number of times we used the sliding door on one hand in 5 years...so we decided we didn't want that additional sliding door anymore). The were able to start and complete entire workup in a day(prob about 7 hours or so! They were extremely courteous during the install and really did a wonderful and efficient job. It's only been about a week since the work has been done but we've already noticed a considerable change in the coolness of our house; our AC doesn't run as hard as it used to to keep the house cool...which I know will save us some $$$ in the longrun on heating and cooling costs. I totally agree with Jaime A that Raul has your best interests at heart; he made suggestions that we didn't think about considering when we were picking our style of window that we wanted. Decided to go with this company after calling two other window companies, this company was a little higher in price range than the other two companies, but I liked how detailed this company was with their services. With the estimate we were provided info on what the installers do when they get here to picking up the trash and disposal of the old windows - this was info the other companies did not provide. This company provided me with info and answered my questions on the Windows and services; meanwhile, I was waiting for replies from the other companies.
