My most recent visit was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at any beauty store in the…read moregreater Los Angeles area. I came in during non-peak hours looking for hair bleach and dye and when I asked for the plexiglass to be open, Rosie (who is apparently the manager), told me someone would help me shortly (instead of walking over and helping me). I asked if she could unlock the case, and instead she looked at me with a blank face and said "sir, someone will be with you shortly." Mind you, she didn't direct anyone to come over and help me, and I saw no one else in the store other than a few customers. I asked her when another associate would come and she told me "sir, please be patient." She also wasn't doing anything other than standing behind the register (I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt that she was balancing a register or something, but she wasn't. She was literally just standing there and she checked her phone twice while I waited). Finally, when an associate came out, I asked the associate's name what the woman's name at the front was to which Rosie, from behind the counter, yelled "do not give him my name! You want my name for what?" I was SHOCKED, to say the least. Luckily, the associate said her name was Rosie before Rosie cut her off (or Rose, some variation). I decided not to purchase the products I was looking for solely because of this experience and said have a good day. I cannot believe the utter disrespect and negligence I encountered while simply looking for bleach and hair dye. I made a simple request to have the plexiglass opened and was ignored and then treated poorly for asking for the manager's name after she refused to help me three times. Will not be returning and will be telling my friends and family not to shop at Genesis Beauty.

I guess there could be worse things, he used to collect rocks, not pretty rocks, just rocks. So he received money for his birthday and couldn't wait to visit this Vans store. When you walk in everything is stocked and organized, we are also greeted every time we walk in. Customer service is never an issue at most Vans stores. The day we visited it was busy in the back where you wait for assistance getting your sizes. There were plenty of associates to help you, we never waited long and they had all the sizes we needed. My son found two pairs he loved and we were off to pay. I highly recommend signing up for the reward program. If you give your email they will send you a link to get started. They have videos you can watch and earn points for swag, also you get points for purchases. My son had over 3000 points and we cashed in some for an awesome flag for his bedroom. Keep an eye out on your rewards on-line, I did not receive points for our last purchase. So I will be calling today to get that added to our account. Keep your receipt so you can prove what you spent. This is a great location and we will continue to shop here.
