I feel like they have deceptive advertising on there. There was a sign (I posted) that said "was…read more$9.99 now $4.99" but I get up to the counter and it rings up as $29.99. The person they called couldn't even find the shorts so I show her the sign where, right there are all the shorts. "No that's for t-shirts" in TINY print you can barely read she says. The shorts are in the other side of the sign (where there is no rack by the way, except one going perpendicular). I tell the lady maybe they should put the shirts on that rack (there was literally one shirt I saw at the other end of rack and far from the sign, which she moved next to the sign once I said there aren't even any shirts on this rack). And here's an idea, put the correct price with the shorts, so it's not false advertising. The store was empty except for workers organizing racks so you'd think they'd catch that.

The staff women seemed to be swooning over one customer who said she held a position of status in the medical field. I felt that I didn't command the same respect or attention somehow (they'd be surprised to learn what I do in the world..) and felt rather dismissed. This place, at least on this day, seemed to have that snooty "size you up" upon entry feeling to it. I did find one article I loved and so purchased it- but was quite relieved to get out of there and back onto the sunny street!

They feature some great art and goods from New Mexican artists! The proceeds go to animals in need. I hope that this can become a must do for not just locals, but those coming out of state!
