The sales associates do not seem to hover over customers when they walk in the door or approach them aggressively like a used car salesman like at some of their competitors stockrooms. They simply leave you be to shop and seem to really work with you on pricing as well as financing if you choose to purchase with them. That said, we have not purchased anything from them yet, so I cannot speak on that. I initially chose a firm top layer instead of the medium firm the rep recommended, and after a couple months my shoulders and hips were hurting--too firm for side sleeping. When I called Sleep EZ, they had a replacement top layer shipped within days, complete with a return box for the old one. FedEx picked it up right from my door. We originally bought a stupidly expensive mattress at GW which ended up being defective - the insides were literally exploding out the sides but it took over 3 months for them to agree it was defective. We were "allowed" to exchange it (even tho we bought the outrageously expensive mattress pad to ensure we qualified for an exchange should we need it) but could only get a new mattress if it was more expensive than the defective one. We ended up having to finance a mattress which turned out to be completely inappropriate for my body weight and sleep position. Six months later I was unable to work and ended up in physical therapy because of my severe pain. It took me 3 more months of trying to come up with a new solution that did not involve financing another mattress and/or going to yet another big chain store. I ended up working only with online retailers and SleepEZ was one of them. Although the product I purchased from them was not right for me personally, THEY took the initiative to reach out to me and do more than I could ever even hope for to resolve my issue. When they called me out of the blue based on a review I wrote, and told me how they were going to help me, I was literally on the phone with my mouth just hanging open. I have NEVER heard of a company taking the initiative to resolve a customer's problem in the way they took care of me. I offered to take down my initial review and they said no, because it provided information other customers may need to know. They didn't ask me to write a new review. They literally asked nothing of me. And for all they did, they have earned a new customer for life, and I will recommend them to anyone and everyone I know who is so tired of dealing with chain retail mattress stores.

When I reached out to the salesperson who handled my order, he was dismissive, made false assumptions about the cause, and refused to escalate the issue to a manager. Before my purchase, he even tried to talk me out of applying for the store's Synchrony financing, telling me I'd "need really good credit." I applied anyway and was approved for $8,000 on the spot -- which says a lot about both my credit and his professionalism. The quality control and customer service here are equally disappointing. I've filed complaints with the Arizona Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division and Synchrony Bank for the defective merchandise and lack of accountability. Future customers: document everything, because you might need it.

Stephen, from the Mattress Clearance Store in Gilbert, was an excellent salesperson. He asked me my budget and did not pressure me or make me feel embarrassed for wanting a great bed for a low price. He showed me a bed in the 500s first, and at first I thought that was expensive- until I started trying beds that were cheaper. I did not want anything too springy or soft. He let me try about 10-15 beds. I realized the beds that I had requested, in terms of firmness and material, were around that price range. I ended up leaving with something that was a great fit and not over what I was expecting. He also tied it on my SUV and it did not fall off my car when driving home!
