My wife ordered Banana Batter ice cream on a cone and my son got Blue Moon ice cream which was a blue raspberry flavored ice cream. My wife is a huge banana fan and she thought that the Banana Batter Ice Cream didn't have enough bananas and banana flavor, you could taste a little bit of the banana flavor but I agree it could have had more bananas. However, the girl who took our order was a bit rude and they also do not offer samples so that in part accounts for the faster prep time. They have hard scoop ice creams and vanilla and chocolate soft serve, as well as a special flavor that rotates. They had peanut butter soft serve when I went which is my favorite so I was pumped. I ordered a peanut butter soft serve in a cup with some marshmallow topping and the peanut butter was honestly gross. It did not taste like peanut butter at all, the texture was not like normal soft serve, and it left a weird aftertaste. The marshmallow topping wasn't great either. My husband ordered a double scoop of hard ice cream in a cone and did not particularly enjoy it either...his cone was crumbling and basically falling apart as he tried to eat it. They also charge a flat .30 fee for the use of a credit card, no matter what you order. Maybe it was an off night or something but we were unimpressed. I will stick with Durbin's for my soft serve cravings!
