Y'at! A colleague suggested we grab a sandwich from Pirogue's. Never heard of them but, we have…read moreseveral food trucks in the area and I'm a fan. After seeing the trailer from a distance, I see they follow the traditional N'awlins colors! So why not? One of the pictures on social media shows beignets. Who doesn't like beignets? No reasonable person, short of you gluten-free folks who would probably admit they would love to just crunch one down. Sorry, Let's leave it for later. Friendly staff and the smells are good. We split a Shrimp and Crayfish Poboy. It come with fries and remoulade, which is mayonnaise based herb/capers thick sauce. Very fresh - very. I'll say I've eaten, in New Orleans, a few poboys. This was as good as all and better than some. The shrimp was delicious as well as the sweet little crayfish. Deep-fried and plenty of 'em covering the French roll. Top it with a little lettuce and some tomato. Yum yum. You can find these fine folks on social media (to figure out what you want) and in-person in Glasgow and Franklin. Just have to look and see. They have gator too. We just gonna have to go back. Here's the secret. I didn't eat a beignet. Don't judge. I'll eat one later. I'm just afraid they will be better than Cafe Du Monde and I so enjoy Cafe Du Monde. Which now makes me wonder if they have coffee. Hmmm. Need to ask. I'll let you know.

Tasty Pho! Greeted and sat down right away around noon on a Saturday. Friendly and attentive…read moreserver. Ordered a Cha Gio Crispy spring roll for an appetizer. Then a P5 Pho Dac Biet for the main. Both the appetizer and the main dish came out in a respectable time. Both delicious and temp hot! Atmosphere was clean in the dining room. A little dim. The restroom wasn't that great. But i came here for the food of course! Definitely will be back when i pass through Bowling green! -Cha Gia crispy spring roll. Came out piping hot and crispy! Perfect texture and perfectly seasoned. Sad part was it does not come with nuoc mam dipping sauce, but a generic sweet and sour sauce. Other that that, an A rating! -P5 Pho Dac Biet. Absolutely phenomenal bowl of pho! Broth was hot, not too sweet, and perfectly seasoned. Was quite surprised being that it's one of the only Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Came with the normal Veggies that go in Pho. Do not skip on the Pho! A+ bowl of pho! -Atmosphere. A little dim , restroom not that clean. Overall a B.

I want to start off by saying that the prices are very reasonable and the staff was nice. (I want…read moreto add that I had to ask for chopsticks for my pho). I was not "wow-ed" by anything, but it was a fine lunch. The pho is okay. The broth is on the sweeter side. The noodles came weirdly clumped, and I had to spend quite a bit getting them to be actual noodles and not a clump. The Thai basil served with it wasn't very good, nor were the bean sprouts. I did enjoy the meal as a whole. The restaurant itself is very dusty. There are faux plants located throughout that have a considerable amount of dust. Since there are many tiny leaves, it was visibly dusty and even had some cobwebs on it. I don't think I would come back here any time soon, but for what it is and for the price, it was good but could've been better.
