We all have different needs and Jackie addresses each one of us individually with 20 years experience and outstanding customer service. I also love that Jackie does not sell products in her office and she knows the key ingredients and recommends a less expensive drug store brand that does the same job without all the mark up. I get compliments on a regular basis on my skin... I know that Jackie is my secret weapon. I could not recommend Jackie more highly. She is kind and patient, and she often gives me recommendations for my skin that have seen amazing results. My partner and I both bought a package for laser hair removal, and she let us book our appointment together. I have seen tremendous improvements in my skin and with the treatment. First of all, I am Hispanic so I have slightly darker skin. Jackie uses the correct laser for my skin pigmentation. Make sure that whoever you go to is using the right laser for your skin! I am removing the hair from my entire body. It barely hurts! The worst part is the armpits, but Jackie is so delicate and gentle that I never mind the pain, and I'm a crybaby. The entire session takes less than an hour, and it happens every four to six weeks for six sessions. Jackie letting my partner and I book an appointment together made us so much more comfortable, but we don't even need the support because Jackie is so much fun to hang out with. The session always flies by. The office is very private. Jackie is the only person who works there, and the session takes place in a large room with an operating table that is adjacent to her desk. There's no risk of someone barging in on you! Jackie's skin recommendations are fantastic. She diagnosed me with keratosis pilaris and told me which skin products to use to make it go away, and it did! It had nothing to do with the laser hair removal, but she is generous with her advice, and my skin has never looked better. Overall, I could not be happier with the service I've received. I intend to come back to Jackie as long as I am able. If you're looking for someone to truly take care of your skin, you have to use JE Aesthetics. read more

Actually, I've lived in other states and never found an esthetician who could compare to Jackie. This is a total scam. Jackie is friendly, however, no amount of friendliness can make up for the fact that she is arguably stealing money from anyone who goes to her. I paid upfront for 6 laser hair removal sessions in May. I received two, the last one being in July. Scheduling my first two appointments was tricky, as she contacted me the morning of the appointments to reschedule which I thought was flaky/sketchy. Since then, she has canceled every single one of my appointments and has altogether stopped responding to my texts. Even if she magically responded today to schedule a session, I am so unbelievably creeped out and disgusted that I would NEVER step foot in her apartment (where she's operating her business location in Hoboken, FYI) ever again. I most recently asked that she refund me for the sessions I am clearly unable to use. She has responded to me yet and I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau this morning. Do yourself a favor and spend more money somewhere else, because this headache is not worth it at all. read more

I can't speak to her level of expertise because we did not get that far. But customer service is a strong F. I was so excited to make an appointment with her after purchasing a Groupon. Here are my detailed attempts to make an appointment: Via email: I emailed to ask about available times, she did write back quickly with her hours, but when I responded to inquire about a specific appointment time I never heard back. Via phone: I reached out to schedule on 3/13, no response. Left voicemail on 3/15, no response. Texted and called again on 3/19, she wrote back the same day asking if I can come in tomorrow and saying she is a "one woman show and sometimes appts slip through the cracks." I wrote back immediately saying I could do Wed or Friday. She wrote back the next morning saying she was closed Wed because of the storm. I wrote back shortly after proposing different appointment times, no response. 3/23: followed up again and let her know I'm making my schedule. Left a voicemail asking her to let me know if she is even taking clients. Still no response on 3/26. This should go without saying, but it should not be this difficult to make an appointment somewhere. In her words "sometimes appts slip through the cracks," so unless you have the time and energy to chase after an appointment, go elsewhere. If you have a Groupon and she doesn't get back to you, you will also have to spend time communicating with them to get a refund. read more

I received 6 sessions for a large area as a gift for Christmas. I live nearby so I was thrilled to get this. I have plans to move out of NY at the end of the summer so I was on a time crunch to use the 6 sessions. I immediately reached out to Jackie at the beginning of Jan. and she told me she didn't have anything available until she returned from her vacation which was a little less than a month from when we spoke. I understood as it was just after the Holiday's and set a reminder to reach out to her again when she got back. A month later, I called her and she didn't answer so I left a voicemail. I didn't hear back so I texted her (because in her voicemail it says that you can text her). I didn't hear back. I called a couple more times and sent a couple more texts over the course of two weeks and she NEVER answered me. The best part was that her READ receipts were on! I could see that she was reading my texts and choosing not to answer me. I am blown away by how this woman runs her business. So unprofessional! Do not give this business your money!
