I found Je t'aime lash last year when I needed a technician to correct my lashes I had done at another spot. The owner- Lulu, was great and helped to correct it. I took a long break to grow my lashes out and only got back in the game sometime in April last month. Again another mishap as they started to fall less than 24 hours after install, so I had to call Lulu to help me fix my lashes. Pros- she is quick, my lashes came out great twice, I don't lose extensions until after about a week, which is normal, and her hands are very gentle. The spa is small but cozy and clean, and they keep it cool which I love. Location is convenient. Cons- it's a small business, so most times LuLu has to wear different hats, like answering calls to book new reservations, which I didn't quite like, as it means, she has to talk over my head to pick up calls, touch a phone to book a reservation and the thought of bacteria being transferred from phone to eyes and multitasking especially when working around delicate organs like the eye really bothered me and I told her this. Hopefully she's able to expand and get more help, because she truly is talented. Also she charges extra for a cat eye which I've never seen anywhere else and I dont think is right. I really want to leave a better rating for this place because the people were so nice and accommodating, but I really don't think I got what I paid for. I found this place on Groupon and decided on it because of its cheap service and great reviews. I called to schedule an appointment and the lady told me tax would be $15- which I thought was a lot for a $70 service but didn't question at the time. The experience and the people were great! However, when I got to paying, I ended up paying $120 with tax and tip. I was asked to tip the original amount ($180 for mink lashes) which I understand, but the tax was due to me paying with card. I wish the lady had explained over the phone that had I brought cash, I wouldn't have to pay this tax! My lashes are very thin and sparse which I know, but I regularly get my lashes done in Flushing and in LA and they are able to get a decent amount of volume with my lash extensions and these extensions usually last for 1-1.5 months. I understand that this service was more because I got mink lashes, but there was a noticeable amount of fallout within the first few days. The business was nice enough to accommodate me for free a couple days later but here I am a couple days after the free fill-in and my lashes are still falling out. :/ read more

I feel bad leaving a less than stellar review but think I owe it to others to be aware. The lash tech was sweet and I ultimately did like the way she applied the lashes. However, she didn't follow standard procedure to sanitize and clean my lashes beforehand at all. She just went straight to applying the extensions, not even brushing them out. Not sure if this also might have influenced the longevity of the extensions. Usually they last me about three weeks but I lost almost all of them within 10-14 days. They were nice and tried to squeeze me in as the last appointment after some miscommunication, but then I also waited over 1.5 hours my scheduled time to have the lashes applied. Think if you go earlier and also request for your lashes to be cleaned beforehand then maybe it shouldn't be an issue. read more

I just got my lashes done today and it was honestly my worst lash experience. I've tried several spots before too but tried this one because i had been gifted a Groupon there. -fees , there's so many extra fees when you get there. 13 for tax, 10 for removal if you have lashes on, another 10 if you want to choose a shape other than regular and 15-25 dollar tip they pressure you into giving. The most frustrating part wasn't even the money, it was the process. I have never gotten my lashes done for two hours straight. It usually takes 45-1 hour tops. While getting my first lashes removed, she wiped my lashes upwards which caused the remover to get into my eye and burn so terrible. She didn't even proceed with caution when I was shirking. She say right where she was while another technician rn to help me clean it out. No apology nothing. She stuck the lashe strips to my forehead, like what? Stuck them to my forehead as she attached each lash, so unprofessional. Then she would kneel her pink and fist on my lips and nose as she attached each lash on my left eye. It was truly the most uncomfortable lash experience I have ever had. They didn't even turn out cat eye, and I payed extra for that and they are all the same length. Got a Groupon, scheduled an appointment done over text which was easy enough. The procedure takes about an hr and a 1/2. You have to pay extra if you don't have a round eye shape or else the lashes will look weird. That was $10, the taxes on the Groupon was $13. The end result looked good, but after two weeks they started falling off and not with the lashes but seems like the glue wasn't holding them. After 3 weeks one side completely fell off. I messaged to ask if she can do one side refill as it looks weird that one side was gone and the other still had many left. I was told it would cause me $70 for one side and $90-100 for both. See the problem is, how do I know it's not going to fall off again? I wouldn't mind paying if I knew it was going to stay at least for awhile. extremely disappointed/sad with my results and it's unfortunate i have to give this review. i'm giving this rating for 3 reasons: 1) i bought the volume 260 lashes....where are the 260 lashes (130 per eye) and where is the volume?! this doesn't even look like 80 lashes per eye. we had her instagram page up before she started and the lash style we chose look nothing like my results. 2) in addition to the $23 extra for tax, she charged another additional $10 for any style that's not round. the style i wanted/paid for was wispy .... results say otherwise. 3) appointment was set for 3:30pm but was not seen until 4pm. she did at least text me to let me know she was running 15 min behind but was still waiting. i could have gotten so much more work done in that 30 min difference. you can get so much better at other places for the same price of this groupon, tax, additional charge and tip. read more

Had a really great experience with Je t'aime Lash (and am now a loyal customer)! The technicians and owner are extremely nice and accommodating, and I am very particular with my lashes. I found them via Groupon (so great deal up front) and have been continuing with them since they remain affordable and so accommodating. My eyes are very sensitive, and since I have monolids, they tend to be oily and get irritated very easily. I originally got volume lashes, but the volume lashes were not agreeing with my eyes (with a lot of irritation and fallout), but Cici and Lulu helped me correct it very quickly, and now my lashes look so incredible with no irritation! read more
