I wanted to schedule my next appointment in October, and I gave them my insurance's coverage information that clearly states the appointment would be covered. However, based on some "policy" that the front desk came up with, they wanted me to schedule the appointment in November because they were worried insurance wouldn't cover the appointment. 1. I asked to see this policy as written, and the front desk told me no. 2. I asked to speak to an office manager, and the front desk told me no. She asked me if I wanted to speak to the other receptionist. I said yes. After being on hold, she did not transfer me to anyone and told me to go to another dental office. 3. I asked them if they could file the claim for me in October, and if insurance wouldn't cover it, I'd be happy to pay out of pocket. They refused to even try to file the insurance claim, stating their "policy" tells them not to. I understand being worried insurance won't cover the appointment, but I'm angry at the fact they wouldn't even try to file the claim without a good reason, especially when I told them I would assume the risk. I also think the front desk was unprofessional in saying she'll let me speak to another receptionist but then turns around and tells me to go to another dental office. I DO NOT recommend this office, especially to my fellow military spouses. Please go anywhere else.

Didn't even feel the IV go in, the process was quick and I can't remember a thing! :-) Now just recovering with ice cream and pain meds. They are very professional - please feel confident in them if you have to choose an oral surgeon!

She noticed it in the Xray and took a picture of it to show DDS Lexi. Then she proceeded with my teeth cleaning with sonic scaler, polishing and fluoride treatment. She was able to remove my tarter without causing any pain or discomfort! Consulted with DDS Lexi and we agreed to a filling in two weeks to fix the issue. Treatment was good as usual. It's very quiet inside and doesn't make you feel like you're sitting in steerage waiting for the Ship's Dentist to have his turn at you. He has taken very good care of my dental needs. He spends the time to get to know you and really puts his focus on the patient. His staff shares his philosophy. He fixed a major gum bleeding issue I had using a laser device and since then, I have been walking in the paths of Dental Righteousness. He accepts the TRICARE Retiree Dental Plan, but he is not in their network. Despite prodding from TRICARE, I am more than willing to pay the additional cost of Dr. Schillinger's care because the Dentist-in-a-box places (cough-Heartland Dental-cough) don't offer the same care and concern. Their dentists are not there to stay, unlike Dr. Schillinger.

I drove from Festus MO to Shiloh IL and couldn't be happier that I did. First - they're initial consult fee is less than anywhere in Festus. Second - Dr. Diliberto successfully completed the root canal. No longer any pain, didn't crack my original crown, and the doctor and the staff are all fantastic! My dentist, who filled my crown, even complimented Dr. Diliberto's work!

My reason for first becoming Dr. Wilson's patient was to get a 2nd opinion when my new dentist (at the time) told me I needed to underdo some expensive dental procedures. Dr. Wilson quickly diagnosed the procedures as unnecessary saving me a small fortune. Over the last 20 years, my extended family and I have continued to get our every 6-month teeth cleanings because most of the Cornerstone dental hygienists are top-notch putting in extra effort in removing as much plaque and tartar as possible to prevent tooth decay and gum disease. One of my favorite hygienists is Kerri because she does such an outstanding job each time. While you can't schedule a teeth cleaning with a specific hygienist, I always feel very lucky when I'm one of Kerri's patients. Over the last two years, I've had to have some expensive dental work completed to address two of my lower molars (with fillings) finally becoming brittle and wearing out (after over 5 decades of use). Dr. Wilson and his staff did an outstanding job crowning these molars, and they ended up being a much improved and well-worth-the-investment upgrade. They explained every step as we went through the procedure which I really appreciated. I was also scheduled for a crown but I told her that I may be accepting a new position back home the next day and she said that we should wait on the crown so that if I got the job, I wouldn't have to make a special trip back - she was more concerned with not inconveniencing me than performing a procedure that would have benefitted the practice. Everyone was helpful and friendly and I would certainly recommend the Bowman Dental Group and Dr. Gilbreth to anyone looking for a great and caring group of dental professionals.
