This jackass left this tubing in side me. It was found a year after having two botched surgeries by Dr Horowitz. It was corrected by my wonderful surgeon who I am so bummed I ever left to use this horrible person. Can't even begin to describe how he treated me and the number of appointments he was late to or just didn't show up to because they don't care. This is surgical drainage tubing broken off and sewed back up inside me to rot. I am lucky it didn't cause infection. He is so bad. Offered to remove one of my breasts in his office that he had left in after removing one breast and leaving one in and closing me up and sending me home after seeing a discharge in breast cavity. He decided it wasn't important to remove both at the same time to see if it was in both breast's? He removed only one then charging me for entire second surgery as well and was so late the day of second surgery I was scheduled for 1 pm and my surgery was at 8:30 pm no food entire day! because he chose to try to slip in a quickie surgery in front of me. I would SERIOUSLY think twice before doing business with the Pacific Center for Plastic Surgery/Jed Horowitz. On the plus side: he did some work on my friend and she looks fine, although he definitely oversold his services, resulting in an extremely uncomfortable recovery time. On the negative side: Dr. Horowitz has honed in on "caring" as a selling point and he plays that role to the max. HOWEVER, after you do a consultation with him, you will notice that all of the paperwork he provides is all about business, business, business, specifically about how he must get paid, paid, paid. Non-refundable this, cashier's check that. Not liable this, "possible" additional fees that. Very ugly. In contemplating that, I also remembered that he had one of his sales staff present during my conversation with him, and that her sole unspoken purpose there was to be a witness in the event that any dispute came up in the future. No mention of risks or side effects ever took place. I wasn't certain I wanted the procedure, so I took my time getting back to him, even though they pressured me with a, "Act now...the price will increase in a month" spiel. Finally, a year had passed (during which I sought consultations from two separate surgeons who recommended NOT having surgery, but to use fillers instead), and I decided to do a second consult with him, but this time I brought my own witness. Again, no mention of risks or side effects. (Really? This is SURGERY!!) THEN, I never heard back from them, despite three phone calls and three follow up emails. I can't help but think that Dr. Hororwitz lost interest in me as a patient because I brought someone with me to my appointment. Interestingly, Dr. Horowitz's staff asks for your email address to send you forms that you must complete before your appointment. Then they take the liberty of spamming you every day, even though you only gave them your email address for the purpose of completing the forms. THEN when you email them repeatedly to request that your email address be removed from their distro, they do not respond, but keep sending the spam. Hopefully, the irony of them continuing to spam me, yet not be willing to address my follow up emails to them about the procedure (they don't want to answer in a trackable email, I assume), isn't lost on the audience. Summary: Horowitz's work on my friend looks fine, but his salesmanship resulted in more money for him and less comfort for my friend. If your procedure goes well, that maybe fine, but if not, you can be assured that Dr. H has completely covered his behind without you necessarily being aware of it, and it seems you will be left out to dry. If you proceed with this office, proceed with caution. Ask lots of questrions, take notes, and bring a witness. read more

I had a Lite Lift with Dr. Horowitz over 2 years ago at age 57. The results were very good, however the Lite Lift only addresses the lower face. My forehead, the "11" between my eyes, and the wrinkles on my upper nose were still there. I consulted with Dr. Horowitz and decided to have an endoscopic forehead lift 2 months ago. I am very happy with the results. One added bonus: the hooding on the outside corners of my eyes are almost completely gone. There are only 4 small hidden incisions in my hair. read more

For what this type of work costs I would do some shopping before you use his services. This guy was all into what I wanted before I paid him. The day of surgery he was late and then he acted as if he and I had never spoke before, didn't know what I wanted. I had a horrible experience with Dr. Horowitz, at the first consultation everything was great the staff were all over me with fake complements. As soon as I signed the contract for my procedure it all changed, never saw the doctor until the surgery which was changed probably to accommodate a more wealthy patient. The results are less than marginal I wasted a lot of money! Do not go this doctor they are a fraud. I was supposed to have ongoing consultations until I was fine and satisfied with the results, as soon as I told the doctor that I was disappointed with the results he dropped me like bad diseases. I had my procedure on August last year I only had three follow up consultation. Have not heard from them since shorty after my surgery. I first met or was referred to Dr. Horowitz after my girlfriend decided to have breast augmentation and I was her caretaker. For not knowing what to do and having a lot of questions Dr Horowitz was always available and if he wasn't he would get back to my gf as soon as he could which was very comforting. She had her augmentation under the muscle and she was NOT in any pain at all which is remarkable for having to tear your pectoral muscle and put an implant under ! So when I decided to shop around for a Dr he was for sure on my list. I had 2 consultations previous to him and was very discouraged and disappointed as I was told I may need a lift which I thought my breast are perfect so definitely an ego bruiser being told you need a lift; and I think the delivery and the way previous dr's had their consult with me just made things worst to a point I didn't want to continue my search and just give up on wanting my boobs done. I got to the consult, office staff was very pleasant, beautiful office, and Caitlin was the nurse (or admin) who greeted me and we talked for a while going over my paperwork until Dr came. I was so impressed with Dr. Horowitz showing up suited up as it made me feel very important and that his image and how he presents himself to his clients matter as precious dr's barely wanted to come to talk to me and let the nurse handle it. He was very positive, very encouraging, he told me I didn't even need the procedure that i looked good as I was but if I wanted to I had a few options. He went over detail of the procedure and my options, asked a LOT of questions and took many measurements and took some pictures. I was so impressed with him that I immediately called my care credit to get approval for the surgery which I did and just waiting to find the right date with my work to go back to him and get my new boobs done!!! My bestfriend has recovered now and is 8 weeks post-op and her breast look amazing! So I'm pretty excited!!!! Horrible experience!!!! Do Not go to this guy for any cosmetic procedures!!! He botched the left side of my face!! In 2006 I had an under eye bags removal (blefoplasti) cosmetic surgery with doctor horowitz, he did each eye different, he took more skin out on the left side, as a result my face isn't balanced today! When I went back to him after surgery with my complaints, he said he'll fix the issue when I have a face lift!!! I did not need a face-lift!!!?? Also the left side of my face took 5 years to heel!!! The infection spread to my eye and nose area, I still feel pain when I touch the left side of my face! As a result, today the left side of my face is sunken In, flatter and more saggy compared to the right side of my face!! Aweful experience!! I still suffer today, every time I look in the mirror!! Do not trust your face to him under any circumstances!!! His office makes you sign all those liability release forms , that you never get to read to protect themselves from a lawsuit!! read more

I had rhinoplasty done several years ago by Dr. Horowitz. I bruised so terribly that I developed permanent crepiness under my eyes and I also have scaring from where he made incisions to allow swelling/blood to release in upper inner corners of my eyes, as well. The results of the rhinoplasty are hardly noticeable, even after several years. The desired look / promised happiness in my result was not achieved at all. Just before the year anniversary of my surgery, I explained my dissatisfaction with my results and Dr. Horowitz blamed my lack of a "new beautiful nose" on my "thick skin"... stating that, "under the thick skin on my nose, I created the perfect scaffolding, but your thick skin is not allowing the work to show through." He then suggest steroid injections to "thin" my skin, and also recommending shaving down my bridge a little more. He did inform that I would have to pay for the anesthesia, again, which I could not afford. When I informed him of this, he said that we could do it under local anesthesia in the office, and that I'd be awake for the procedure. After cold bedside manner and a lot of uncertainty in my confidence in Dr. Horowitz, I got a second opinion. The next surgeon I found was absolutely appalled that Dr. Horowitz would even THINK of shaving my bridge down under local anesthesia, especially to fix the job I had already paid for. This certified facial plastic surgeon also warned me against the steroid injections - saying it would be an absolute last resort in his practice. After several phone calls, emails, and consultations about my how unhappy I was with my results, I decided not to return to Dr. Horowitz. I never once received a follow-up phone call or check-in after all of that - even though they knew how incredibly unhappy I was. I'm guessing he feels he got his money, and I finally stopped "bugging" him... so who cares about me anymore. This was my first and only cosmetic procedure - a decision that my husband and I did not take lightly as we are by no means rich or vain. To take this risk and it become a total loss has been painful for us. I'm still very unhappy with my results, and I paid a fair amount of money. I am hoping to do a revision with the new surgeon once I can afford it, again... and, hopefully, I can also get damage that occurred under my eyes due to the surgery fixed, as well. I would strongly suggest you find another surgeon for any of your cosmetic surgery needs. read more

I posted a long review about my horrible experience with Dr Horriwitz and my eye surgery which ended up in disaster, but I don't see it on here. They must have a way to remove it. They lied about how simple the surgery was but it ended in terrible results and side effects. One of my eyes was drooping to a point where I had to wear a tape to hold the lower lid for three months after the surgery. You can still see the incision marks in the corner of both my eyes. Also the lower lid of my right eye is permanently damaged. Do not trust anyone in this center. It was a nightmare. read more

I am 57 years old and looked 77. I have avoided mirrors, pictures and any other form of having to look at myself. Inside I was melting away and people around me always thought I was tired or angry. After so many comments, I was tired and angry. Having surgery done on your face is a scary thought. However, at this point in my life I had to do something. Thank goodness for Dr. Horowitz. I made my appointment and after his examination I knew he could help me. He is professional, has a great bedside manner, is kind and most important he is an artist.
