This place is not to miss. My husband and I have come here two years in a row and both times have been spectacular. Everything is cooked to perfection with an exception to detail, the staff is incredibly professional and polite, and the inn has a beautiful history work researching. This is not a cheap meal but is definitely a place to go for a special night out. Since COVID, they have a beautifully outdoor patio, paperless menus, and strict mask policy. We were very happy with the safety precautions being observed.

Amazing ambiance, came here for the first time and the outdoor and indoors space is so comforting. Will definitely be coming here again!

Over all a nice find. We had a late brunch here service was good. The food was spot on everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The location was awesome even though I heard it haunted. But we had no ghosts show up for our bunch.

A must go if you're in the area! Jedediah Hawkins is a charming inn located in the Jamesport area in Long Island. We were staying in North Fork and visiting wineries in the area but this dinner may have been the highlight of the weekend. The solarium dining space is absolutely stunning on a warm summer day, with views of the outdoor area. The food and service were excellent and well worth the price. Guests are free to roam around in the outdoor space which includes a picturesque trellis tunnel covered in vines and some chairs on the lawn for after dinner chats and enjoying the view. Go if you love good food, good views, and a good time.

We always wanted to try this restaurant and although there were some mixed reviews about the short menu, we took a drive from Jericho to experience it for ourselves. We arrived 30 minutes early and was seated right away. There is the Main a dining room (highly suggest asking to be seated in that room). We sat in the room to the right close to a fireplace. Very warm and cozy! The service was excellent and (Erica K) was very pleasant and attentive to provide the most enjoyable dinner. We ordered drinks which were really nicely prepared. My wife had a Blood Orange Margarita and I had a local Beer. The menu selection was small but very interesting. We decided to share the Roasted red & gold Beet Salad over arugula which was (Excellent) and the Crescent Farms Duck Wings ( to die for delicious) As a main dish we shared the Entree portion of Cacio e Pepe (best we ever had). Kudos to the Chef for preparing this delicious meal and his imagination of tasty appetizers and entrees. Was a great experience worth the 1 hour drive and look forward to returning for round two!!

Burrata salad as a special... But everything is amazing.

Wow. What can I say? Every trip to Jedediah Hawkins is a pleasure, but this one was special. The setting was gorgeous. The service was Michelin star quality. And the food... The food. Every bite of every dish was delicious You can tell that they take great pride in every aspect of the dining experience, and it shows. Run, don't walk to Jedediah.

Once we got there; with our luck, the restaurant was full and we had to wait a few mins because their system was down. Which is understandable. As we wait, the couple after us had made reservations for 2 and their table was ready. First impressions matter to me and there is no reason for inconsistency when it comes to reservations. Finally, after a few more mins, they found us a table. Once we sat, and we ordered some water, they decided to moves us again to another table. Now im bothered but I didn't want that to ruin my night. The waitress took our order for drinks and food. The whisky sour was ok and our wait for food began. The couple next to us had their appetizers and main entrees served before we even got our appetizers. I understand it may have been busy, but everyone around was getting there food quicker, lack of attention. We finally got our entrees and the dishes were ok. My duck was cooked perfectly but my wife's dish lacked some flavor. She had to be careful because the fish had fish bones and we had thought they had taken those out. As we waited for the food I noticed that the owner was walking around and greeting the customers and finding out how the food was. I believe that every owner should follow this man's footsteps because he was very attentive to all and I feel that he turned our experience around for the better. Once we finished, he asked us about the food and what brought us there. Conversation with him was great and easy. We mentioned to him that my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and he surprised us with a dessert and coffee. This dessert was incredible and his sweet gesture made the experience so much better. I hope to return one day and give them another chance. I would say try this restaurant and make sure you make reservations because the restaurant is always full.

When I called to check, the woman on the phone, who was so nice and I wish I remembered her name, said that they had gluten free options, and they can also change some of the entrees to be gluten free. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly hostess, and seated in their very beautiful dining area near the outside patio. It was too hot to eat outside, but at least we got to see the beautiful outside area, which we will definitely check out when the weather is nicer. When we got to our table we met our awesome server Kim, who helped our friend with the menu and gluten free options. She was so friendly, knowledgeable and patient with all of us and our questions. When the drinks and apps came out, they were absolutely delicious. Kim is also an awesome bartender and her drinks were perfect! The apps I would recommend are the scallops, shrimp, fried mozzarella, and the mussels. Yes, we had them all and they were awesome! When our entrees arrived they were not only delicious, but also beautifully presented. Everything we ate here from the apps to our desserts were outstanding! When we were done with dinner, we asked about exploring the upstairs since it looked very interesting and we were curious about it when we first walked in. Kim encouraged us to go explore, even though they were closing, and we were so happy we did. You have to try this place, and also see what is upstairs, you will not be disappointed; it's beautiful, very unique and I also think it may be haunted :-) Thank you to Kim and all the staff for making our night really special, we will be back soon!

We only saw the waitress one time. After waiting 15 minutes, she arrived to take our order and we NEVER saw her again. The potato purée with truffle cream and leeks, which we requested to arrive first hadn't arrived after what seemed like 15 to 20 minutes so we got up from the table and apparently they made a mistake and it should've been brought to the table and when it did, it was cold or barely warm. We tried to find someone to get us to help us, but after five minutes gave up and decided to eat it. You couldn't taste any truffle and we ate it just because we were hungry, but it was extremely disappointing. There were hardly any leaks on it and they were overcooked. Next, there was confusion over our entrée which we were splitting and we wanted to come out and we again had to try to track someone down to explain to please send out the entrée. When it arrived, the fish had been pounded down thin and was covered in breading and so much oil that it was completely disgusting and inedible. Instead of a beautiful piece of juicy flounder, we got a dry, oily thin piece, which was mostly breading and really disgusting. It had no flavor. Green beans which they put a fancy name on to make it sound special while they were overcooked and tasteless and the sweet potatoes were watered down. The rum banana was overcooked and would have been better suited as a dessert. We then had to get up from the table again because we never found our waitress so we had to go to the hostess so we can retrieve our bill and left a very undeserving 15% tip. We managed to find someone else to bring us some containers to take on the food that we hadn't eaten and in the end, I don't know why we bothered because it went in the garbage. If you want terrible service and terrible food, then head on over to Fauna . If you want good service and good food walk a few feet and there you have Flora. Flora is a small intimate restaurant that is decorated beautifully had amazing service and cooks their food perfectly. They treat each customer as if they are their most special customer. We felt welcomed there and we felt like they went above and beyond to make us happy. It was such a different experience going to that. We are shocked the same owners owned both restaurants. Maybe they should try switching managers so Fauna can learn how to run things more like Flora. I have a feeling that Fauna makes most of their money on alcohol because you certainly don't wanna go there for the food or ambience. It's noisy and obnoxious. If you want a peaceful restaurant, that's beautiful and knows what their theme is then go on over to Flora. Fauna has lamps with deer, antlers and wood that is dark and uninviting and strange wallpaper with different animals on it in the bathroom and terrible smelling soap. Their menu is confusing as with their music, which was a mix of salsa and a type of music you would expect in a Mexican restaurant. You really missed the mark Fauna.

The restaurant is huge and always busy. They have two levels, and while I prefer sitting upstairs, both spaces are great. This time, I tried their New England Clam Chowder for the first time, and it was phenomenal. There wasn't a grain of sand to be found, and it was absolutely loaded with meaty, perfectly cooked, tender clams. The flavor was unforgettable. It managed to be creamy without feeling heavy. You know when a chowder leaves a thick coating of cream in your mouth that lingers long after each bite? This wasn't like that at all, and it was perfect. I also enjoyed the Caesar salad. I've seen it presented this way before, and while it does put a little more work on the diner, it's really not a big deal to use a fork and knife. The lettuce was crisp and cold, the dressing tasted homemade, and the crouton crumble was a game changer. I decided to add the seared blackened scallops, and they were cooked perfectly. The upcharge was a little more than I would have liked for the amount, but it was worth it. After all, who doesn't love a scallop straight from Montauk? That scallop traveled less to get to my plate than I did to get to Hampton Bays. The drinks were festive, the wine was cold, and the atmosphere was lively. It's the perfect place to bring friends and family and have a great time.
