    Incredible dessert!! Thank you again

I really want to give this restaurant a 4 or 5 but the service lacked today. My wife had called to confirm if we needed a reservation for two and she was told no and that they would ensure us we had a table. Once we got there; with our luck, the restaurant was full and we had to wait a few mins because their system was down. Which is understandable. As we wait, the couple after us had made reservations for 2 and their table was ready. First impressions matter to me and there is no reason for inconsistency when it comes to reservations. Finally, after a few more mins, they found us a table. Once we sat, and we ordered some water, they decided to moves us again to another table. Now im bothered but I didn't want that to ruin my night. The waitress took our order for drinks and food. The whisky sour was ok and our wait for food began. The couple next to us had their appetizers and main entrees served before we even got our appetizers. I understand it may have been busy, but everyone around was getting there food quicker, lack of attention. We finally got our entrees and the dishes were ok. My duck was cooked perfectly but my wife's dish lacked some flavor. She had to be careful because the fish had fish bones and we had thought they had taken those out. As we waited for the food I noticed that the owner was walking around and greeting the customers and finding out how the food was. I believe that every owner should follow this man's footsteps because he was very attentive to all and I feel that he turned our experience around for the better. Once we finished, he asked us about the food and what brought us there. Conversation with him was great and easy. We mentioned to him that my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and he surprised us with a dessert and coffee. This dessert was incredible and his sweet gesture made the experience so much better. I hope to return one day and give them another chance. I would say try this restaurant and make sure you make reservations because the restaurant is always full.

We have not been to this restaurant since it was Michael Anthony's. Many years ago..... but stumbled upon it for lunch. Our server Paulina was WONDERFUL!! Can't wait to come back

We came here for a girl's brunch as there aren't many options in the area. It was just as we expected. Cute, cozy, and home. It was also nicely decorated for the holidays. I got the crab cake Benedict and also shared the steak and eggs with a friend. The Benedict was tasty and had a decent amount of crab. The steak wasn't what we expected. The menu said it was a skirt steak and when it came out it was a thin minute steak. It wasn't bad, but we would've skipped it had we known. Service was polite. All in all an enjoyable meal.

Absolutely phenomenal restaurant. Every single time we're here we try something new & it's spot on. The scallops were the best I've ever had in my life, they melted in your mouth. The pork chop, to die for. Literally everything is top, top notch. Our server was so friendly & so cute we loved him!! We stayed late the first time we came here & we're the last table (we just got married the night before & we're still basking in our happiness) & he assured us so many time that we could stay as long as we wanted no rush at all. We were also visited by the ghost! Hehe. Such a cozy remarkable little place nestled in such a cute little corner of town. We will be customers for life!

Experienced a delightful brunch at this lovely restaurant across from the local beach. The decor is beach modern, the staff friendly, and the food and cocktails delicious. We were able to park in their parking lot, but I suspect during the warmer peak months it might not be as easy.

The service here was A1! The guys working were hilarious and provided great service. I would give the food and drink a 3.25/5 and the service a 5/5. Solid brunch and very laid back environment.

Good Breakfast if you can stand flies dive bombing you for your food. There were flies on the walls, ceiling and ceiling fans! Close the doors or install magnetic screen doors for the kitchen staff if they want their kitchen door open while they are cooking. The coffee press seems like a nice idea but it left way too many coffee grains floating in my coffee. I had to send the entire pot back. I give this place 3 stars out of 5.

Delicious fresh food! It is very quaint and beachy feeling and the food is from local farms. The service is great here as well and I really enjoy visiting this place for lunch when I am out east!

Redemption! I always…read moretry to keep an open mind when visiting a restaurant, especially if it's new. Well, I'm happy to say this one has matured very well. Just walking in, we were warmly greeted, then quickly seated. This place is "picnic style", so you're given menus at your table, but order at the counter (I personally like that vibe). Anyway, we ordered their 1/4 pound, five-meat sampler (pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket, a competition-style rib and a whole smoked sausage) and they converted me. Everything was nothing short of awesome. Both the pork and chicken were juicy and tender, the brisket this time around was smoked to succulent perfection and the rib was nothing short of excellent (not 'fall off the bone", but with that perfect competition "pull" that really won me over). The sausage I learned was locally sourced and a great compliment to the platter. Enough for two with small appetites to share. The sauce is still in small cups, but as I was told, there had been so much waste left on empty plates, that they had no choice to serve it that way, and I get that. Restaurants run on very thin margins these days. I had the spicy version again and really enjoyed it. Add in some live music played by a couple of good ole boys and since my first visit 9 months ago, this place has turned into a legit Long Island BBQ joint and will now be part of my usual rotation. I still think the hush puppies could have used a few seconds less in the fryer, but the flavor profile was spot on as was the corn fritters. But we left happy and full...I'm glad I was able to get back and try it again. Plenty of parking, all cards and a very laid back experience. Great for families or a stop by while cruising the north fork of Long Island. It's a gotta-go in my opinion. Nicely done!

Everything was delicious. The smoke flavor was just right and the meat was so tender. The service was friendly and that really makes a difference. After May of 2025 they will have a full bar. There is plenty of parking and a ramp if needed. There's a bar and an eating area. There's also an outside area that looks like it is pet friendly. This is a very nice place. I wish we lived closer.

Our waitress was wonderful. To start, we got there lobster fritters & jamesport baked Brie which were both so flavorful and the flavors were perfectly balanced. We shared the duck confit & stuffed summer squash & I am now determined to make that squash at home! Also had butternut beer for the first time and woah. It rivaled my favorite seasonal pumpkin beer! We went out for a nice dinner with another couple and our friend has to be sure there are gluten free items on the menu. When I called to check, the woman on the phone, who was so nice and I wish I remembered her name, said that they had gluten free options, and they can also change some of the entrees to be gluten free. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly hostess, and seated in their very beautiful dining area near the outside patio. It was too hot to eat outside, but at least we got to see the beautiful outside area, which we will definitely check out when the weather is nicer. When we got to our table we met our awesome server Kim, who helped our friend with the menu and gluten free options. She was so friendly, knowledgeable and patient with all of us and our questions. When the drinks and apps came out, they were absolutely delicious. Kim is also an awesome bartender and her drinks were perfect! The apps I would recommend are the scallops, shrimp, fried mozzarella, and the mussels. Yes, we had them all and they were awesome! When our entrees arrived they were not only delicious, but also beautifully presented. Everything we ate here from the apps to our desserts were outstanding! When we were done with dinner, we asked about exploring the upstairs since it looked very interesting and we were curious about it when we first walked in. Kim encouraged us to go explore, even though they were closing, and we were so happy we did. You have to try this place, and also see what is upstairs, you will not be disappointed; it's beautiful, very unique and I also think it may be haunted :-) Thank you to Kim and all the staff for making our night really special, we will be back soon!
