Jeds have a good selection of food. I come here for breakfast because they are open early. I go out of my way to get a nice breakfast plate and how i like it...crispy bacon. If u like ur breakfast a certain way, let then know. Parking all over, easy to read menu, and they have a website with all their information. Its easy to find the lunch wagon because its a bold red color easy to find from a far. You have to talk loud when ordering because of the noise all around. Check this food wagon out :)

Jed's Lunchwagon & Catering is a food truck located in the Campbell Industrial Park. The food truck is known to serve breakfast and lunch items for the workers in the nearby vicinity. I was with two of my coworkers when we stopped by at Jed's Lunchwagon in mid 2018. We decided to get a bite to eat before heading out to our four hour class at a nearby business. I was greeted by the female worker at the order window. I had decided to get a loco moco plate and coffee. I paid using cash. Once my loco moco plate was ready I took it to the nearby condiment table. The table is set up near a fence that has all the condiments. Sugar, Equal or Splenda, and powdered cream for the coffee. Ketchup, shoyu sauce, salt, and black pepper for those individuals who want to add a little flavor to their food. My loco moco consisted of homemade hamburger patty on top of white rice with over easy eggs on top and brown gravy all over. I added a little bit of black pepper and shoyu to my plate. I added sugar and cream to my coffee. The food was absolutely delicious. Hopefully in 2019 my coworkers and I head back to Jed's Lunchwagon for a meal again. I want to try other food items that Jed's have to offer.

Five stars. For the price and quality, it's a great deal. What impressed me the most was that they serve brown rice and toss salad. A definite plus in my book. The steak was great and filling. The brown rice was moist and good. Also, the toss salad was fresh and the ranch dressing was ono.

This lunch truck serves breakfast and lunch. In addition, they usually feature two or three specials of the day. For the lunch plates you have a choice of white rice, brown rice, or tossed salad. For the breakfast plates, you also have the option of getting fried rice or toast. My coworker is a big fan of their chopped steak. I usually order one of their daily specials, which has always been good. This place is a bargain, considering that most plates are around $6.

Also, did I really want a Sonic burger? The answer was an easy no. Did a quick search and found this place which I had no idea existed but now I know they exist in an excellent way. People come here to drink, I'm not a drinker but there was plentynof alcoholic beverages on the back wall for your choice that it could be overwhelming. This is a bar with indoor seating and a World Cup game was on. I think there was outdoor seating but it looked like a different restaurant to me. We ordered dirty fries, a sweet tea, the simple smash, village smash, and sweet tea. I have to admit, I'm overly harsh on burgers but from the first bite, this hit right to me. The dirty fries were good also. We washed down that salt with their mildly sweet sweet tea. That's the only miss for me as I like deep sweet tea thanks to some time spent in Mississippi earlier in life. Their food put themselves on my radar so we will definitely be back as we didn't even scratch the other meats they had on menu.

Since the restaurant looked very busy, I waited another 25 minutes, until about 8:45 PM. I then asked for an update on my order, and I was told it would be another 20 minutes. At that point, I asked if my order had even been started, considering it was only two Smash Burgers and an order of fries. Given the excessive delay and lack of communication, I requested a refund. The long wait and poor updates were very disappointing, especially since I had placed my order in advance for pickup.

Underrated local dinner spot…read more The entry to this restaurant is so easy to miss because it's so narrow and it blends in so well with everything. I don't know if they want to keep it hidden, but I guess you could consider it that. We went in on a Saturday night with reservations and I highly recommend it since the place was full when we went in and more people kept wanting to come and eat. Service was great from beginning to end, I especially love that everyone accommodated my stroller and my baby. There were four of us and we each got something different, but to start I highly suggest the steamed shrimp and pork wontons and the lechon style Brussels - I would've double-ordered those for my entree if I could have! For entrees we ordered the garlic noodles, misoyaki butterfish, seared catch-of-the-day, and the burger. They were all amazing, and after we all started letting each other try we started making our own "flights" because everything just hit different spots and flavor profiles. In summary, this is one of those places that doesn't care about aesthetics, the decor is casual, but the food is soooo ono. They focus all their energy on food and service, and that makes a winner winner chicken dinner in my book.

The portions are very generous, and I love that the food feels both satisfying and nourishing, so I never feel guilty indulging. I'll definitely keep coming back again and again. The service is always great, and I also appreciate Island Vintage's rewards program--such a nice perk for returning customers who enjoy their food and drinks. You will spend more than the average to eat here, but I believe you get more than just the food/drink, you get the atmosphere as well. One thing I will say that not too many people know about, is that they have a kids menu! Every choice on there is $10 each. When I do end up bringing my babies on Bible study nights, I order them the sausage, eggs, and rice plate or the nuggets. Portions are great, enough to feed an adult, let alone a child. On average for a date, you'd pay about $80-$100 total depending what you order. But it's worth it and it's not an everyday thing. Also check out the shaved ice and ice cream! I haven't tried it just yet, but I heard it's pretty good.

We never had our waters filled throughout our entire meal. She never asked if we wanted dessert. Again, I don't think it was her I just think she needed help. The star of the show was the ice cream pie. I feel like it was an absolute must! I just love Lapperts ice cream so to have it in the pie was just amazing! The chocolate ganache was rich and heavenly. He liked it, and by reading the more recent comments, I guess everyone else likes it, too. And I admit that the first and last time I came, more than 2 years ago, the food was good. But if you read my original post, you'll know that I had and issue with their online ordering and, to make a long story short, I ordered online for their KONA store which was misleading in their website. The owner at the Kapolei store said they would remake the order, and that she'd call the Kona store to cancel my payment. Bottom line, never happened! Ended up paying the Kona store $45+ and Kapolei $45+. So ultimately, I paid $91+ for two plates. Never got the refund, haven't been back since. So I realize they probably don't care about ONE negative customer since they have so many good reviews. Like..."who cares about this guy?" So yeah, no matter how good the food was, I'm NEVER going back.

Until one day we grabbed dinner here with another family and I had to eat here, and I was shocked in the best way. I scanned the menu for something I could eat thinking I'm only eating fries, but then I saw the grilled cheese....and then I saw additional toppings are no extra charge?! And they serve mushrooms?! I added on that protein with veggies with ridiculous excitement. While waiting for the food, I really do appreciate that you can see it all being made, so I'm surprised no one talks about it for it's apparent freshness. And comparing the price for what you get, I hope they continue to stick around. The aesthetic of the place just screams old hospital with all the bright lights and white and red, and it kind of hurt my eyes so I'll eat here again, just not stick around. Call me crazy, but I liked the grilled cheese. Everything was smashed well that allowed the bread to melt together and be held by the cheese. I also appreciate the mushrooms being added and everything was good for the price. Why did I take a star off? Just needs a little more work cleaning. When we went, there was no one inthere, so there's no excuse for the kids chair being dirty with soda spilled on it and it was there before we walked in for who knows how long.
