Lumpia
Daniella A.

I've only ever had snack options from this food truck like their lumpia, pork buns, dumplings, and chiccharrones. They've always been tasty, and a nice size portion for the price. I would love to try more of their offerings, and get an actual meal from them I just am never super hungry when I see their truck! When they're parked at a brewery the chiccharrones and buns are always a great snack with some beers. The pork bun is very flavorful and probably my favorite item from this truck. Service is always quick and friendly. If you see them parked somewhere give them a try for some Filipino Hawaiian fusion eats!

Burrito

I got a burrito with Adobo pork through door dash. The burrito was enormous and filling. White race made up the bulk of the burrito, which I wasn't super-into. The meat was very sweet, a little cloying for my tastes. I'd probably get some if I were near the food truck, I'd like to try some other items. I thought the burrito was just A-OK though.

What can I say about this place? AMAZING. Just so so good. We've been here 6 months and wish I tried this place 6 months ago so I could eat here weekly. We got the katsu, pork adobo, kalbi and mochiko chicken. Everything was spot on and made us feel like we were back in the islands. Literally did the happy dance while grubbing on the Mac salad. The whole Place was so clean and bright. Still small enough to make it feel like home. We will be back I promise

Hot and crispy Lechon Kawali

First off.. not many Filipino-Hawaiian restaurants in Alaska! So I am very happy that this place is on the way home! There's dine in and take out. They do have 2 other locations as well in the Arctic area and on the military base within the BX, summertime they've a food truck! But this one in particular is located right off of Old Seward situated in a small business area. From ordering to cooking and to-go.. took about 15-20 minutes for the chicken katsu curry plate and lechon kawali plate! I'd recommend dining in for your food to be fresh and hot to plate. The price for the amount and variety of food is very reasonable considering cooking many of these dishes require multiple ingredients. The chicken katsu and lechon bits are filling and savory, still crunchy and didn't get soggy on the drive home. Smells delicious and tastes of a comforting home cooked meal.. which is what is needed when you don't want to cook for yourself.

Yelp 100 Challenge 2017 - #58/100 Caught this food truck at the Spenard Food Truck Carnival. Ordered the sisig fries. So good, love the salty and vinegary flavors of the chopped pork cheeks over hot fries. The ube lumpia (egg rolls) came out steaming hot. Sweet and creamy ube jam inside the crispy egg rolls makes for an exotic dessert. The pandan iced tea is light and sweet. I would've liked a little more pandan flavor though. They also had pineapple and avocado flavored ice candy. Ice candy is a cheap, well-known Filipino summer treat when you can't afford ice cream. They have a few more items on their menu that I'd like to check out. I'll check them out on K street eats too.

DELICIOUS. LARGE PORTIONS. CONSISTENTLY GOOD. The Pansit is my favorite dish to order from Jeepney. I am so thankful that they are available of DoorDash for delivery. I would absolutely recommend this place to all my friends and family. It's so good, you'll order it too often!

Pork adobo plate with pancit and rice.

This place is amazing. First head about them when they started their food truck and it has been great ever since. I am glad that we have a Filipino Hawaiian fusion restaurant here in Anchorage. My favorite is the pork adobo very good flavor. I usually get the adobo plate with the pancit and rice. The lumpia are also very good too. They also have siopao- which is pork steam buns, which are always a great snack when you are on the go! Overall the workers are very friendly and the food is always amazing!

I live Jeepny's food, but the unwillingness to make anything but the readymade food during lunch is annoying.

I sincerely miss this food. The keto sisig was my go to on carb cutting. I'd pay money for this business to open on the east coast.

I ordered the kabli, every bit I took had pieces of bone! Not worth $18. I saw so many good reviews but my first experience is not good!

Always look at newest reviews!!!…read more We saw the 4.4 red stars and thought this was gona be an amazing place. The first red flag was 1pm on week day and there was only 3 parties in the place. The one and only server was very nice, but being the only one, twice when new parties entered he would walk away. Wife ordered chicken katsu rice plate. The overall theme is everything is bland. EVERYTHING.. Her cabbage slaw/salad had a white creamy sauce, my best guess is mayo mixed with ranch but only if both was every kind of free there is, fat, sugar, carb, keto, and most importantly, taste FREE. Her rice was purple, there were purple chunks, not sure if it was potato, the rice was mushy, wet, and Bland. Her kutsu sauce was made from the same everything free ingredients. Come on man, Kutsu sauce is 3 ingredients and all three are bold flavors, how do you mess that up. But ok, they want to be fusion, maybe add some cilantro or chili. She asked for soy sauce and salt to try and add some flavor. Half way through she has me hold out my hand and pours a handful of the "salt" from the shaker. It was not salt granules, almost looked like a salt substitute. I honestly don't know what it was but when I tasted it I would be extremely generous by saying I got a 25% salt flavor. Normally, you put 2-4 tablespoons of salt in your hand and lick your finger, when you taste that, you get a powerful punch in the mouth of dam, that's salty. I was dumbfounded, if they are using that "salt" to cook with them makes since why everything is so bland. I don't want to repeat the Bland Bland Bland theme over and over. I had bulgogi, kutsu, and BBQ chicken tacos. I will skip to the end- yep, you guessed it, Bland. We did have the bulgogi egg roll, I do want to touch on this only because I was so mad at myself once we left I dug Into the reviews. These are one of the most positive commented items, BUT those comments are from over a year ago. Overall, 11$ for two small egg rolls cut in half is ridiculous. Then if you bite/taste just the egg roll, there is a 5% taste of bulgogi sauce. Which again is so explosive of a sauce. But, If you drown the egg roll in the creamy mild sriracha sauce then the egg roll is ok. If you forget what it should taste like and just concentrate on how did they make the sauce with no heat, then you could get at least a 2-2.5 star. Server deserves 5 stars, Food deserves 2 stars.

I can't believe no one ever told me about this place. Always in search of a good if not the best…read moreburger, I decided to give these guys a try when I heard about them. Ordered via DoorDash. What drew me to give them a shot were these cheeseburger egg rolls I saw in an advert. What the heck was that? Well it was an eggroll cut in half that was full of ground beef and cheese and on top there was lettuce, tomato and onions. It came with the side of awesome sauce, which is like spicy thousand island. It is a bizarre concept and remains so even while you're chewing it. But it is absolutely delicious. The burger ordered was called the Food Truck. It was your classic burger with a double smashed patty, lettuce, tomato cheese, pickles, and onions. It was fantastic from the bun to the ingredients. Everything was fresh and fabulously assembled in proper amounts to make a really great burger in every bite. It held up to the leftover test and tasted really good without reheating. Because who has time for that? My friend ordered the Ruben Griller (sorry no pic). It was very good looking on marble rye with a lot of meat. I sensed some cheese and was not sure if there was sauerkraut in the bite that I had, but I found it a little dry weirdly because it had been toasted on the grill and had quite a bit of butter on the bread. Hard to describe, but I could tell that it was a good sandwich. I just might've got my bite off the edge so I will try again another time. My friend enjoyed the sandwich and ate it all in one sitting! Sides: the standard side is garlic fries, which are delicious and also once again fresh ingredients. The garlic seems chopped and not from a jar, I mean, you can tell the difference. You will smell like garlic for a few days. Which is cool though cause it's good for you. The most notable thing about the fries or if you would prefer tater tots is that you can "load" them. This is where someone comes in and sprays them with cheese and sour cream and bacon and green onions and etc., and it blows your mind and your diet. The onion rings are also as amazing as everything else. I particularly like the type of batter they use that is all one unit rather than like Panko that gets everywhere and falls apart. In all this is comfort food, and definitely high calorie (the items I'm reviewing, I don't know about salads, lighter, fare, or anything like that) and will have to be viewed as a once in a while treat if I don't want to have to buy larger pants. If you are looking for something really satisfying and want a good fresh meal that wakes up every single tastebud, I would recommend these guys. I also have to say it feels like the owners themselves made the food, and maybe they did. Either that or they have trained and treated their staff well because their integrity shows in the care they take to prepare and serve really outstanding food. They have a cool website where you can learn about the owners and their vision, and you can also purchase the awesome sauce for your own refrigerator, which I have done!

A good place to go if you have the "munchies."They have a lot of creative options on their menu…read more Also the Buffalo chicken sandwich is the spiciest Buffalo sandwich I've had in Alaska
