Man oh man I got The Sun Rise Burger! But is it a burger!? Well it comes on a burger bun sooo,…read morebut it's more of a breakfast sandwich with the kitchen sink! Bacon, Ham, Sausage, Reindeer Sausage, Egg, and yes a Hashbrown too! First of all it's stacked! Almost like you gotta dislocate your jaw to get that bad boy in your mouth, but when you do it's like Flavor-Tastic! The creamy chipotle and mayo adds a perfect element to this burger. Everything you want for breakfast is packed and stacked. I ate half and then came back to it an hour later and finished it. If you skipped breakfast like I did that day and it's lunch this just totally hits that Brunch Vibe spot your taste buds crave! I absolutely loved it. Looking forward to seeing them at other events around town.

Major plus: they serve a tasty mushroom and Swiss burger, decent fries and tater tots. Later in the evening, I reheated Mrs. E's chili dog. Very good! Our friends shared their Philly Steak, chili and the famous Boom Ba Laddy (bbq pork, grilled onions, peppers and potatoes covered in cheese). All selections were outstanding and made for an excellent evening. The prices were reasonable, too! Watch for this truck in and around Anchorage and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! 12/22

It's hard enough to find a diverse selection of foods in Anchorage, but if you want reasonably priced some delicious foods, this is one of my top recommendations. The food truck was super cute, and I ordered "whatever your favorites are, but white-girl spicy." The owner was gracious enough to tell me that everyone has different spice levels and I conceded that my digestive system is often in distress so I asked for the least amount of spice possible. As we waited, we sipped our horchata. It was a chilly winter day, but we didn't mind the iced drink while we browsed the open market outside of Double Shovel. The mountain pupusa was so fresh, delicious and filling. I was able to eat about a third of it and save the rest for later, with the added bonus that it felt nutritious and made with love. The eloté was quite honestly the highlight of my day, tangy and zippy with flavors. This place made my little foodie heart so happy, especially during a time when my dietary options were so limited.

Can't go wrong with a MTooth pizza, but try the tavern style for a crispier crust! I love their Tavern salads and sandwiches. Keep an eye on their specials! Most recent go-tos: Tavern Ranch, Poke and Berries and Goat Cheese. Honorable mentions: King St. Chicken Sandwich and Nashville Hot Chix. I don't think I've had a single meal that I didn't like or love here. Service is Tooth standard. Friendly and casual :)

Now, my first culinary experience with this restaurant was a good one, their cheese burger with honey and whipped Brie?!?!?!?!?! Is a masterpiece disguised as a cheese burger the tater tots on the side? Meh! Nothing to see there. The most mind-binding, disrespectful thing I came across at this establishment is them calling a glorified Little Caesar's quality cheese bread with a side of dipping sauce a "Pizza" if it wasn't enough that this cheese bread was marketed as a "Pizza" which it is not but to call it a Detroit style Deep dish? Unforgivable! I wanted to love this pizza so badly but I cannot allow anyone else to spend $28.00 on a dried out, over cooked order of cheese bread. The service was good until I was given Diet Coke instead of Coke Zero. I swear service recovery is such a lost art. C-
