We decided to eat outside the ballpark before the game, so we tried this place. This is a great place to eat. The atmosphere is upbeat, with great music on the radio, it seems like a high-energy place. The food was really good. The place has a variety of tacos, sides, and appetizers. The burgers and fries were good. The street corn is done well. Would definitely eat again. It would be well worth a visit when in town for a Reds game or the other sport.

Great vibe! We stopped by before a Sunday Reds game to get a bite to eat. The Jefferson Social offers indoor and outdoor seating. Large windows and inviting tables give you an outdoor feel even if you opt to sit inside. Kudos to our server. Even tho it was quite busy right before the game she was fast to take our order. Our beef nachos arrived quickly and where really good. They fresh and crispy and hit the spot :)

Lettuce butt or stem , not sure what this called but rather careless that it ended up in my salad.

Lunch on a Sunday. Started with chips and salsa. Daughter has a burrito bowl. She says 5 stars. Wife had a fish sandwich with tater tots. She says 5 stars. I had a grilled chicken salad. 4 stars lost a point due to finding the lettuce stem in my salad.

The waiters have a strong background in customer service and are skilled in communication. Overall is an amazing environment and the food is great. I can be busy on the weekends though so be mindful.

So I was debating between wandering away from my hotel, using door dash or just hitting up one of the many local establishments close to where I was staying. I decided to walk to Jefferson Social. This was the wrong decision. I was hungry for wings and the Yelp photos from JS looked good so I figured it was worth a shot. As soon as the plate was set in front of me, I realized I made a mistake. First it was the smell, something smelled off. It was as if the fryer oil was old and stale, perhaps not changed in years. As I bit into my first wing, My disappointment intensified, the Jameson Honey sauce was flavorless...thank goodness there was hot sauce near by. As I ate the second wing, I noticed another issue. Never have I had a plate of wings come with a huge watery puddle on the plate. It was off putting. On the bright side, the wings were substantial in size and nice and crispy. I also ordered a side of red beans and rice, not pictured. This dish was odd. I was expecting a simple side...whole beans, rice, maybe some green onion garnish. Nope, this was refried beans, topped with brown wilted lettuce... The saving grace for this place was the kind and attentive staff.

Stopped in before a Reds game for lunch. Watched the Olympic tennis finals. Not pictured was chips, salsa, guac, quest, and fries.

This was our 2nd choice to eat. The 1st place across the street had a 15 minute wait and didn't seem like they cared enough. Went to Jefferson Social and I'm glad I did. Got seated immediately. Food came out so fast it almost didn't make sense. The waiter was quick and pleasant and everything tasted really good. If you're downtown in Cincinnati near the ballpark... you can't go wrong trying this place out!

Was visiting the Reds Hall of Fame at Great American Ballpark. Was walking around and found this place, and it happened to be taco Tuesday. Nice spacious dining area. So I thought I would try some chips and salsa and a couple of tacos and a beer. Really glad I did. I had a carnitas taco the pineapple salsa was great the pork was tender just a great taco. The other taco was the steak taco the steak was also tender and radishes were a nice addition. The chips and salsa was good, mild salsa. I had a Summer Shandy. The service was great.

Stopped in for pickup during Cincy wing week. The online ordering process was super easy- I was able to get my order in hours in advance and schedule my pickup time which is a nice convenience. Pickup process was very easy- head right to the bar and my order was ready to go! I gave this one 5 stars because the traditional wings with the Inferno dry rub really exceeded my expectations. They were well done, good size and had a great seasoning with the right balance of flavor and heat. Honestly, I was not expecting as much out of this place that I frequently associate with giant drinking crowds after baseball or football games (man, I hope that is a thing again soon. I miss it!) The Cincinnati chili wings were an amusing novelty. The seasoning was a bit strong on the cinnamon flavor for my liking, but they did a good job of getting the essence of the Cincinnati chili flavor onto a wing. I like when a place has a unique offering, and this fits the Bill for Jefferson Social. Try those inferno wings!

We are from out of town and were looking for a place with outdoor seating to grab dinner and drinks after checking into our hotel. We were told to walk toward the river and we would find a few different options. We opted to try Jefferson Social, as there was patio seating and no line. It was seat yourself, so we were able to find a table outside and grab a chair from a neighboring table that wasn't using it to seat our party of four. For those sitting outside, you had to order from the window out front. We went in groups of two so that we could keep our table. All of the employees were wearing masks. We ordered pitchers of margaritas that came out right away. They seemed a little pricey for their size, but I would say that is pretty standard when ordering drinks. The rest of the menu was very fairly priced. We ordered chips and salsa and the nachos with ground beef. The chips and salsa came out right after ordering at the window and it was a very large portion size. The nachos took maybe two minutes to come out after ordering, which was super nice. All of our food was delicious and exactly what we were looking for. Overall, the service was fast and friendly and outdoor seating was definitely a benefit. We would definitely recommend to those visiting Cincinnati for a quick bite and a few drinks.

Nice bar to grab a drink at when downtown Cincinnati! They have a wide variety of options and the place gets crowded at night.

It was so substantial that I only made it through half. I enjoyed it with chorizo, but for a modest surcharge, they will make it with brisket! The Al Pastor Hash was the standout. It was beautifully balanced, full of bold, authentic flavors, and expertly prepared. One of my brunch-mates spends much of the year traveling through Latin America, and he was genuinely impressed. Excellent food, generous portions, and a memorable brunch experience. We'll definitely be back and look forward to trying more of the menu! I didn't think I'd find something that could compete with Bakersfield but this does. It has unique flare without being over the top like some places can. Like pairing pickled veggies with my shrimp? Yes please! Ceviche was a little on the smaller side. Its flavor was there but price to size wasn't worth it to me. Recommend the grilled esquites as a side. I can't NOT get the charro beans because they were addicting. I could live on them in the winter. Tacos were so ed how you'd expect with homemade corn tortillas. Delicious, but I'd say Bakersfield pulls ahead just a touch with the tacos. Camerones Saadi's was delicious! I'd get it again, but still want to try some of their other mains. I did try dessert. Mind you I'm not huge on tres leches as it is so it might not be surprising that it wasn't my favorite. It was a tad on the drier side and textured (this was coconut tres leches so probably where the texture came from). I'd skip dessert the next go round maybe, unless they had some other fun seasonal things to try. Everyone enjoyed their cocktails as well! Especially the mezcal-based ones.

There was a DJ & a dance floor, but very few people were dancing, which was disappointing. Some things are out of your control, but still I would've enjoyed my food more if I could have sat and ate it. This place feels a little light a hole in the wall in downtown Cincinnati. It does not have lots of tables, it is unassuming on the outside, and the menu is simple. We were drawn to it, even with the long lines because of all of the game goers. Considering its size and the line, we did not wait an unreasonable amount of time to order and then receive our food. Everyone orders at the counter so you have to go through one at a time and wait for everyone before you to decide their orders. The food is then called out and you have to go get it. This system probably helped our situation and made things move faster. I got their signature turtle, which is basically a large crunch wrap, with chicken served southwest style. It was awesome but very large! We were going out after and did not want to carry leftover boxes, so I ate it all and kind of regretted it after. But I simply could not stop cause the food was so good! The prices are also fair and they have plenty of beer and cocktails to offer from their bar. I would love to come back here on a quieter night so we can sit and enjoy the food wholly, perhaps with a beverage as well.
