On Sunday, late afternoon, we noticed our main irrigation valve had a leak that we could see on the insulated cover I had placed on to keep from freezing. When my husband tried to remove the cover, it was stuck, like glued on. He cut the cover and pulled it off and the pipe broke. Water sprouted up over 5 feet high. He tried turning off the main water valve to the house and nothing happened so he tried the sewer water valve on the street and thankfully that worked. Problem was we had no water in the house. I called 5 companies but most didn't answer or wouldn't come until Monday. The one company that did answer was Jefferson Irrigation Co. Jeremy initially said he couldn't come until Monday but when I told we cut the water off to the whole house, he sounded concerned and said he'll be over in an hour. Keep in mind, that would be Sunday at 5pm. He promptly showed up with another staff member and said they would fix it but had to go to Home Depot to buy parts. The valve had roots covering it which is why it broke. They fixed it, we're so professional, polite and reasonably priced. Exceptional service all around!!! UPDATE: 5 Star down to 2 Star Jeremy set up my first bimonthly visit for May 11th to arrive in the morning. I paid for the bimonthly service the same day as I paid for the initial clean up job. At 2:10 pm on May 11th, I texted to make sure he was still coming, and from the text I thought he was. But they did not show up, and I've not heard a word from him. Today, Sunday the 19th, I reached out by text and asked for my money back, because there is no way that I would get every other week, meaning twice a month before May ended. Plus basically this was a no call no show situation. Jeremy texted back that he would come Monday, because his wife booked them an anniversary vacation and his daughter just graduated, so he nor his guys worked this past week. I texted back saying that he left me hanging, so he then called me with the same excuses. I explained that he didn't communicate ANYTHING to me and coming Monday the 20th wouldn't fulfill our bimonthly service agreement. He said that he would come Monday and after that no more. If I didn't like that then don't call him anymore. (I didn't remind him that he called me ...) I said that one time is not what we agreed to and then Mr Jeremy hung up on me. Needless to say I'm disappointed. Like I said in my first review, I did my homework, I liked all the reviews this company had. I liked the initial job they did for me. I paid for the upcoming monthly service in advance like I have other companies in the past. I'm such an easy going person and if communication had been given I probably would still use these guys. But now I'm out $150 and no work done with the owner hanging up on me. Did fine when they fixed my fountain pump a year ago. They just came to fix it again because it was clogged with leaves plus I had two other jobs I wanted them to do. In the process of unclogging they removed my seal to the lower tier and it would not hold water. He tried to fix it then left. I let him know it was still draining which I have no problem with trial and error, just do what you can to fix it. He said he would come back and fix it, but was a no call, no show for two days. I paid him in full and even tipped him so to break my fountain and ghost me is sad. He charged me $350 for all 3 jobs and I paid $500 to include a tip (before I knew the fountain would no longer hold water). Jefferson's said they had a an emergency which is why he no called no showed on me. When I posted on Thumbtack to fix the fountain that Jefferson's Irrigation Maintenance broke, Jefferson's responded asking for the job, not realizing it was me I assume...... hilarious. Cost me an additional $500 to have a different company come out and repair my fountain. The new guy was professional and went above and beyond levelling it. The second job performed by Jefferson's was to repair the irrigation lines in the back yard. The irrigation lines he installed are the huge main lines for added pressure which is great, but they should be buried, but they are all above ground and are an eyesore. I will have to pay someone to bury them. The third job that Jefferson's was to fix was the irrigation valve leak. He did a good job with that although he wanted to tear up my landscaping to find a place where his hose would fit/connect to my hose. I handed him a round adjustable clamp (don't know what to cal it) that would connect different size hoses avoiding having him tear my landscaping apart. Update: When he saw my review on Yelp he called me with intimidation tactics YELLING at me and then hung up on me! You would think he was the one who was taken for money and left with a broken fountain. If you look at the reviews he has a history of poor communication, standing people up, ghosting, and hanging up on customers as well as responding "LOL" to his reviews. I am a disabled veteran and a female. IF HE CONTACTS ME AGAIN I WILL CONTACT THE CITY BUSINESS DIVISION AND POLICE. read more

Jeremy is outstanding! My husband was out of town and I had a leak in the irrigation system mid-afternoon on a Saturday. He was kind enough to come to my home and shut off the irrigation system until he could come back a day or two later to repair the leak. I have a small waterfall pond in my backyard and yesterday afternoon the water fell to a trickle. I've had a local pond company come out before but I wouldn't use them again. I started researching pond cleaning and maintenance and stumbled onto Jefferson's Irrigation & Maintenance on Thumbtack, an app similar to Angie's List. In fact I think they're on Angie's List as well as Home Advisor. I spoke with Jeremy Jefferson, the owner. We made arrangements for him to come over when he finished the job he was on to give me a quote. He arrived about an hour and forty five minutes later with Ron, his pond expert. After checking things out he said they could take the pump out, clean it and see if that helped. I asked him how much that would cost and he said there was no charge if they could get the pump running. If it was bad it would be $200 for the pump and installation if I wanted to replace it. Not only was the pump okay, he said it was a really good one and should last a long time. Then they used a shop vac to blow out the lines, which dislodged a blockage of leaves and debris. After hooking the pump up again the fountain flowed fine. I found Jeremy to be personable, professional, knowledgeable, honest and a pleasure to do business with. There was no upselling or marketing gimmicks, just a fair price for good work. The owner of the company threw trash out the window of the marked company vehicle in the home depot parking lot nearly missing a pedestrian. When my husband contacted the company to speak to the manager the man on the phone claimed to be the owner not only defended his actions but was confrontational. Absolutely unprofessional.
