Need maintenance done and crazy enough. Today I ask 2 simple questions: provide insurance & license information and how many workers. Never answered after asking 3 times. I read current reviews. I.e. no call backs, etc. Portofilo called demanding my address. I made it clear. Answer my questions and we can move forward. His response, "I'll pass". Don't bother calling unless you want problems. I received this as a business recommendation from Yelp when looking for a landscaper. Portofirio (the owner) responded on the same day. He asked if he could stop by and check out my property as he was going to be in the area. He inspected the work and said that it would be "no problem" and set up a date for him to do his initial work. My yard isn't big but there's detail to it. I'm used to my previous landscapers coming in and out within 10 minutes tops. I watched Portofirio io and his partner expertly clean our front and back. They not only left every shrub and plant beautifully trimmed, there was no annoying left over debris and no leaves. Very clean. What impressed me the most was that before he left, he found my watering system wasn't operating efficiently and took his time to fix it. He lengthened water lines that were far from the plants and replaced malfunctioning water spouts. And, I didn't even tell him to do it. He charged me a rate that was reasonable and under what other businesses had offered. Portofirio is honest, hard working and clearly a professional who loves to stand by his work. I had a tree that needed shaping and pruning. He came out gave the quote and completed the work he gave us great reasonable pricing, which was appreciated as we only have one tree n our yard and other companies stated that is why there quotes were so high because I did not have multiple. Any who we also had a leak that he will be back for and removal of a couple other tree bushes. Try are friendly, responsive and offer great service. EDIT: Porofirio, as I explained in my text to you, after the initial job you did in February, I contacted you again on Saturday April 5th asking you when you could could come by, you said Thursday April 10th between 3 & 4 but you weren't able to make it even after an hour delay. Fine. You said you could come by the following Tuesday, the 15th. I asked when. You said you make the schedule on Sundays and would put me on the schedule and let me know. A week went by and I never heard from you after texting you four more times with no response from you. I texted you prior posting this review saying it wasn't going to work out, only for you to say "ok." So, after 2 weeks have passed, that's pretty patient in anyone's opinion. I'm not an unreasonable person but when I give someone several chances and reschedule several times, and wait several days with no replies, even I have my limits. So no, I'm not going to remove my review when I've told the truth. And where do you get off calling me desperate? That is incredibly insulting. I never insinuated to you that I was, nor did I tell you anything of the sort. That deserves losing another star for that. --- Original review ---Thank you for the work you did for me in February. I appreciated you meeting me at Home Depot and picking up the plants and doing the work I needed to update my side yard so that I would be in compliance with my HOA. It looks very nice now. The front of my house needed a little bit of trim work to make the HOA happy so I asked Yelp for recommendations. I heard back from one other company right away, but I guess they were too busy to respond after I asked them for a quote and their schedule Then I heard from Yocmar not too long afterwards. They responded with a quote and number to schedule a day and time, so, things worked out better than I could have expected. We scheduled an appointment for them to come on a Friday morning. He called me to let me know that he was running a little late, so I appreciate the communication. It was a small project but I would rather leave it to the professionals. He did a really good job of trimming back my shrubs and bushes, making my front look neat and clean. Clean. They also took care of the debris. There was no noticeable sign of trimmings. He came to our home and provided an estimate and stated he would return on Thursday between 9 and 11. At 8 am he text and said he would be here in 15 minutes and he wanted me to unlock the back gate. I did so immediately. Here is his texts: I'm the gardener I will be there in 15 minutes please have the gate for back yard open. I'm already here. Can you please open the gate for back. Ok I have to leave because today I'm doing yard maintenance. I was in the backyard waiting for him and the gate is unlocked. My phone was inside the house. He never tried to open the gate. Here is the reply I just received: You must have to hire someone else. You can make your own judgement but for us this landscaper is not responsible or easy to deal with. read more

Porfirio was great. He and his worker worked really hard cleaning out backyard and front yard from previous tenants' neglect. The trees in the backyard were massive and they did a lot of trimming and cutting, also replaced the whole irrigation system since there's a lot of leaking here and there. They also have the best pricing while others were trying to charge me more than double or even triple the price he's charging. They showed up when they said they'd and didn't try to upsell or upcharge you. Definitely recommend him. read more

If I could give 0 stars for my experience with this company I would. I was quoted a price for removal of shrubs and a small tree. After I reverified the quote and proceeded to schedule the job. They emailed me at the end of the day~ "I pass. You're out of my service area." Why didn't they say that before I was given a quote? I don't understand a company's customer service sometimes.
