I wanted to write this review because while this has been pretty much my only experience as a patient at a hospital, I am forever grateful for the treatment I received. I came in with a temp of 103.9 and a HR of 140. I was so dizzy I could barely stand. I was triaged within minutes and immediately placed in a bay. Every single staff member (several nurses, doctor, lab, EKG and radiology techs) were absolutely incredible. Professional, skilled, expeditious and truly worked as a team. Even though I was super scared, every team member took the effort to put me at ease. I write this as a retired RN who has worked primarily in ICU, but as well as Burn ICU, peri-operative units, and even a few ER shifts when I was a float nurse. Even though I have never been on the patient side until now, I've seen a things or two. Twin Cities delivered. Turns out I had a pretty severe case of pneumonia but a week later I almost feel myself again. The doctor encouraged me to come back if I ever have any problems or if things worsened. I feel relieved to have emergency care like Twin Cities in our community. I've read some pretty abysmal reviews and being a nurse, I know there are always two sides to the story. For a little tiny reglue he was charging to begin with $400 and that's before he looked at the tooth! Then he told me I should go to my own dentist 6 hours away because that dentist 'is so good'.But I happen to be here in this money sucking ToWn for a visit. But he is so concerned about legal issues that he sent me away without a peek! Fast, non-invasive x-rays, the ability to fabricate crowns in-house, huge staff...felt like it was a step in the right direction. Fast forward to now, and I feel differently. I had one crown done, as a tooth had cracked. I was given a $1,000 estimate with the standard disclaimer that I'll be responsible for the actual amount. No problem, I know the drill, as I have had dental work done in the past. The problem was their "estimate" was 100% off, and now I'm being asked to pay $2,000 for a crown that was supposed to be $1,000. From my perspective, if my job was to deal with insurance companies on a daily basis and I had hundreds of patients and thousands of EOBs, I should be able to get closer than being half-way to the actual price. I can't help but feel like I was taken advantage of. Had I known the actual price, I likely would have shopped around and had the work done elsewhere. On my next cleaning visit, the dentist told me I needed something like 6 or 7 MORE crowns. How many of those are medically necessary, and how many are to add billable income, since they cost so much more than insurance covers, AND can be done in-house?

Dr. D came up with a treatment plan for upper and lower all-on-four implants including zygomatic implants to support her upper arch. Hers was a very complex case, but Dr. D fully explained the surgery, recovery and all options before we made our decision. He's very experienced, and truly knows every aspect of dental implants. He made us feel comfortable right away with his very caring nature. He really does want the best result in every case. In the end, my wife has her life back - she can eat without choking and has amazing, beautiful white teeth. We did visit two other locations in SLO county and neither gave us the feeling they could do the job and we didn't feel comfortable with either. They were both quite a bit more expensive too. We could not be happier with the entire process or with Dr. D!

When they recommended that i take a medication, i explained i had a medical condition that would not permit me to use that drug. Groski did not believe me and insisted that he would need my doctor to give him this in wtiting. He took 4 weeks to communicate with my doctor about whick medication I could take. As a result, I got very sick with an untreated infection for weeks.
