Jeff's Bagels were some of the best bagels that i've ever had. The bagels were so soft and flavorful I would highly recommend. We got a few bagels and they were given to us in a nice bag. The spreads we tried were all really light and they were the perfect addition to balance out the flavors on the bagels. I highly recommend the jalapeño and cheddar cream cheese. It's not spicy but it's pack with a flavor punch. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was good. We walked in and were welcomed by the front with smiles. I went by this morning with my friend who suggested it. What a great place. Staff was incredibly welcoming! I mentioned I was there for the first time. The fantastic guy behind the counter explained the entire operation of how they make the bagels. They had a great stock to choose from, i chose Cinnamon Raisin with plain cream cheese. My friend chose the Asiago Bagel with Jalapeno Cream Cheese. I thought my bagel was great until I tried my friends! Truly Incredible. These are what bagels should be like! First time here. Pretty busy place. There is not a lot of seating, there are only two tables and a bar area with 5 bar seats. So not a place you can eat, relax and hang out. They have a lot of choices of bagels and spreads. I ordered the Everything Bagel with normal cream cheese spread and then a Cinnamon and Sugar with brown sugar spread. They toast them but it just makes them warm. Their toasting isn't to where the bread is browned so I would definitely ask for extra toasted if they will do it. It's nice for grab and go. read more

Decided to try this spot because it's right by my house. Got the asiago everything bagel with chive and onion cream cheese. Probably one of the best bagels I've ever tasted. A little different because it's not a traditional toasted bagel, but still very good. Iced cinnamon vanilla latte was very good too, very heavy on cinnamon though so if you don't like cinnamon I wouldn't get it. Overall a great experience and I hope this place stays!! read more

I am a life-long bagel connoisseur who is often amused by the commentary of bagel snobs who seem to think New York City is the only place where one can get a legit, authentic bagel. Having lived in NYC myself and being familiar with the old H&H on the Upper West Side on 80th St and Broadway before it closed, I can definitely say there are good bagels in Htown. Two examples: Bagel Bob's and Hot Bagel Shop. I was really curious to check out Jeff's Bagel Run since it seems to have a unique take on bagels and is an outpost of the original Florida operation. Over the years, I've considered myself an Everything bagel kind of person. But I am also open-minded, so studying the menu beforehand and seeing a Cacio e Pepe bagel was really cool. It's great to know one can get a bagel in this flavor, which is popular these days everywhere from Potente (pasta) to even ice cream parlors. Back in 2020, Jeff Perera described the bagel as "shaved pecorino romano, fresh cracked black pepper and a touch of EVOO. This is my new favorite bagel. Period." I wholeheartedly agree. In fact, at the really fair $2 pricepoint (compared to other local bagel spots), I kind of think this bagel is a steal. The slice of pecorino romano which sits atop the bagel is really delicious and kind of inspires me to buy a block of this cheese. Of the three bagels from Jeff's Bagel Run that I've tried, it was the favorite. I typically avoid sweet bagels and prefer savory ones, but the Cinnamon Sugar bagel, paired with Cannoli spread, was also good. My least favorite of the three was the Rosemary Salt. I felt the flavor was minimal - perhaps not enough rosemary and it lacked the typical salt bagel flavor. Service wise, I would give this business 5 stars. I thought the person who took my order should have known more about the beverage offerings, but he also seemed happy and knowledgeable about other items. The employee who gave me my order was really positive and friendly. I also like how the bagel shop looks inside. Overall, coming here on Saturday during opening week was a great experience. read more

I went to the soft opening event last week. During soft opening, they were offering a free bagel and side of schmear. The line went by really fast and I didn't have to wait long for my order at all. I got their Asiago everything bagel and their roasted jalapeño schmear. The bagel was warm, fresh, and was fluffy. I prefer my bagels toasted though but I'm unsure if they will toast it for you there. The spread however did not really taste like roasted jalapeño at all. It tasted like normal cream cheese and there was no spice in it at all except for the few tiny pieces of jalapeño in it. Jeff's Bagel Run just opened this weekend in Houston and we literally ran to try it out! So many positive things to say about this place! We ordered on the app because we were afraid things would sell out. The app was so easy to use and you can set your pick up time for later if you need to. It saved us a lot of time because when we arrived, there was a long line! There's plenty of parking in the lot, so that also was pleasant to experience. For order pick up, I went to the side and gave the employee my name and it was handed to me. There is a high bar in the back and also a few smaller tables inside if you wish to enjoy your bagel there. We took ours home to enjoy it. The bagels are extremely soft and so delicious! I ordered the Asiago everything bagel with chive and onion spread and took a bite of mu husband's blueberry bagel with strawberry spread. The spread was super creamy and so easy to either dip a piece of your bagel in there or use a knife to spread directly on. We were very impressed with the strawberry spread - it had bits of fresh strawberries in it and tastes just like strawberries! Some places I feel like it can taste a bit artificial, but not here. Prices are also very reasonable! Overall, very very impressed with Jeff's Bagel Run and I hope they plan to open more locations in Houston! read more

I've been here twice so far and I love the bagels & cream cheese that this place has to offer! The coffee is okay, nothing super spectacular, but the bagels & cream cheese?! That's where it's at. It does get pretty busy on the weekends, so they will run out of items pretty quickly. I also did try out like a chocolate chip blonde or something similar, and though it was good, the piece that I had had too much sea salt in one portion that it was really hard to get past, so hopefully that'll get fixed as you guys bake them more often. I've heard good things so I stopped by after a visit to the medical center and I've been hooked ever since! I've stuck to the cinnamon sugar mostly and the cacio e pepe is another fav but you can't go wrong with any of them. Freshly made, crispy on the outside and pillowy soft inside. Ordered DoorDash and ended up doing the 6 pack of bagels, side of lox and the cream cheese sampler. My favorite bagels were the Rosemary & salt and blueberry bagels. The everything bagel was way too salty for me. The Asiago ones were ok. There was a pizza bagel which we got and that was also good but they don't offer it everyday. I do like their cream cheeses since they use actual products and not artificial fillers. The veggie has actual veggies in it and same with the strawberry cream cheese. The blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese was my fav. The veggie went well with the pizza bagel too. We didn't get to try the lox since the restaurant forgot it, so DD refunded us for the lox. read more

So me and my sister have been trying to find a good bagel place and this was great! We both got an everything bagel with their lox kit (with salmon, plain cream cheese, capers, cucumbers, tomato and red onion) And it was amazing, perfect for two people to share. Felt motivated one Saturday morning and decided to give Jeff's Bagel Run a shot. I drove by closer to opening week and there was a line out the door, so decided not to stick around and wait. This particularly Saturday, there was a small line that had yet to wrap around the door, so I decided to wait. Glad I did, cause more people showed up past 10-10:30am. The line didn't move as quickly as I thought it would.. we were probably in line close to 20-30 mins.. that's a long time for bagels! Ordered 8 bagels and 3 spreads, a giant chocolate chip cookie and 2 coffees (iced oat milk latte and a banana bread latte)! Coffee was good.. bagels were hot, super soft, and tasty! They even cut them in half for you! As the bagel cools, it becomes chewier! Bagels left some grease though, on my fingers! Ordered a variety of them and enjoyed them a lot! Had a few leftover for breakfast the next morning! They even had a cake batter sprinkle butter for the kiddos! Be prepared to wait to order, and to wait for your bagels and drinks afterwards! Sometimes it's hard to find a good bagel but this is the right place. The bagels and spreads are so delicious. It's probably better to pick up and go you can even order through the app so it makes it more convenient. Inside there's two tables right in front but you also have a bar on the side facing the kitchen so you can watch the magic happen. They offer a few different kind of drinks. I tried the banana bread cold brew coffee. It was great. The parking lot outside is very large so you should have no problem parking. Right off the bat, super quick service & very friendly cashier. Considering the spot is brand new, it was busy and despite the many patrons eating inside, the place was very clean. We were in and out in about 10 minutes. Being from the east coast, i've been missing a good bagel. I kept it simple and ordered a plain bagel with plain cream cheese. $2 for a bagel and another $2 for my cream cheese (the guy that rang us up explained they only do the spreads on the side so that the customer can get the right amount of cream cheese by personal preference). The bagel itself was super fresh, warm and very fluffy with a nice little crunchy bite on the outside. The cream cheese was also pretty good, and was surprised to have some leftover since i usually go heavy on the shmear. I will say, i'm used to a denser bagel. Soft on the inside with more of a crunchier bite on the outside. I personally feel that because of the fluffiness of Jeff's bagel, it leaned more towards the chewy side. My partner had ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel that was surprisingly smaller than mine (i couldn't get a picture fast enough since he practically inhaled it lol). His review of his cinnamon raisin bagel: "it didn't hit like i thought it would". Also got the iced cinnamon vanilla latte with an extra shot and oatmilk which was good. Both of us agreed, however, that our bagels weren't really filling and were still hungry after eating. Not sure if we'll be back yet but great quality service and cool aesthetics. read more
