Stopped here after filling up gas nearby and I'm glad I did. I was in the mood for coffee and was able to try their banana bread cold brew. Great, fresh bagels in LWR with a wide variety of cream cheeses with creative flavors (cannoli, banana pudding, cake batter, etc). Service was incredibly fast, our bagels were ready nearly seconds after we ordered. However they don't toast bagels here which was a bummer. They'd benefit from having a DIY toasting station next to their coffee bar. Additionally the "tub" of cream cheese was much smaller than anticipated, the size of a small cup of soup container, so recommend 2 tubs per half dozen if you like a hefty smear. read more

OMGoodness!!! This place is great. When I arrived there was a line out the door. Did I still wait for breakfast? Yup. Absolutely. I ordered a cinnamon sugar bagel with whipped butter herb & garlic spread. Listen! I was under pressure deciding. It was so good. A little salty and a little sweet. The worst part is that it is gone. It was so good. My skinny carmel latte was okay. I would like more milk, but that is a personal thing. There is a counter to do all of that. Now I know to add for next time. I absolutely LOVE Jeff's Bagel Run. I'm not from the area but whenever I'm visiting my parents who live down here I go out of my way to come here at least a few times during my stay. Everyone is super friendly and the bagels are delicious. However the biggest thing I'm here to talk about is the VEGAN CREAM CHEESE!! I'm a vegan and I've been searching for a good vegan cream cheese for foreverrrr and the brown sugar cinnamon cream cheese from this place is to DIE FOR omg!! They also have vegan plain and chive & onion options as well so I love that there's multiple options for vegans. My current favorite bagel spot in Sarasota. I was skeptical at first when I asked if it could be toasted and they said they don't do that, I typically like my bagel pretty toasted. The cashier noted that the bagels were fresh and it would still be good either way. They were correct, it was fresh, inside soft and outside had a light toast on it. I was there around 8 on a weekday, so keep that in mind if you come at a later time. The "do it yourself" spread was interesting and I thought it wouldn't be enough (I like a lot of spread), but it was plenty! The coffee was good also, I dont normally go for sweetened lattes, but I thought it was a really good flavor. Overall, great bagel and coffee for not bad a price. I found out about this new bagel shop on yelp and when I stopped in a different business nearby, I asked the employees about it and they said it's very popular and they all like it except for the fact that they don't toast the bagels. I decided to check it out for myself since it was so close by. It's the perfect size for a bagel shop with tables & chairs. The staff were very friendly and glad to let me sample the unique cream cheese flavors. There are fourteen to choose from. It was clean and well decorated and I love how they explain how they make the bagels on the wall. I was originally going to get everything with asiago cheese, but decided to go a different route. I chose the cinnamon sugar bagel with maple cream cheese. The cream cheese is what changed my mind lol. I 100% agree that if they toasted these bagels, they would be amazing, but for those who enjoy them untoasted they're excellent!! Best bagels outside of New York. I did give it four stars instead of five because I do think they should have a toast option, because if you're on the go, you can't toast it. Next time I go, I will get a dozen (I wish it was a Baker's dozen) so that I can toast it at home. It's $5.82 for one bagel w/cream cheese. Bunch of haters up in this place. You all aren't in New York... this is Florida. Bagels shops are hard to find and a good bagel is definitely hard. The concept of this shop isn't to make you your "New York" style bagel. They are the rip and dip concept and I've had a good experience every time I've gone. Couple tips to enhance your experience if you don't understand the concept. Ask what bagels are hot. I typically find the speciality bagel of the day is almost always warm and also delicious. They all have seasonal spreads. They recently had an espresso spread and it was delicious. Also have tried two different lattes and they were both great. Restaurants and food is expensive now a days so yeah things can get pricey but this business recently put out a free bagel and spread with a purchase of a latter for the holidays which was very kind and definitely used. Bagels were ok. But I find it frustrating that businesses now expect customers to tip for minimal or no service. When all someone does is hand me a bagel and a side of cream cheese, that's not a "service experience" -- it's a basic transaction. Having the point-of-sale system prompt for a tip in this situation feels wrong and manipulative. If employees deserve higher pay (and many do), that responsibility belongs to management -- not customers being guilt-tripped at checkout. The tipping feature should be disabled in cases like this. Just pay your staff fairly instead of asking people to tip for something that isn't service. 4 stars for bagel. Nice staff, clean and attractive place---but people, a great bagel has a glossy crust, is seriously chewy not doughy, otherwise it's dense white bread. Ugh. Bagels originated in Eastern Europe and a real bagel fan would never be caught dead eating a blueberry/cinnamon/sweet flavor of any kind bagel. They are most always served in a brown paper bag. Great places give you plastic bags to freeze them, and an extra or what is called a "Bakers Dozen". An authentic bagel is: Onion/pumpernickel/garlic/sesame/poppyseed/rye or Everything. Also, toasted is not the same experience as "warm from the oven". As they say, when you know.......you know. I'm not being overly critical (and I'm not from New York or New Jersey or Pennsylvania!) just a person who has consumed hundreds if not thousands of bagels in my decades on this earth. read more

This my go-to bagel place in the area. They offer you tons of bagel and spread options at a very reasonable price. Their staff is always super nice. Sure, they get busy and can drag on wait times occasionally, but generally speaking they do a great job at managing so many orders simultaneously. So we tried this place twice. Bagels have very little seasoning and the onion and chive cream cheese is nothing more than cut chives and raw onions in cream cheese and no flavor. Everything bagel didn't have nearly enough seasoning. This was a couple of Sunday's ago and the line to the door. So second visit. Blueberry bagel was decent, cannoli cream cheese was ok, Asiago everything bagel was tremendously under seasoned and tastes like a plain bagel. Also it was the same time as our previous visit and there was no line or a full parking lot. As a household with New Yorkers and New Englanders, we have had our share of good bagels. Do a little market research and see how the other places are doing it better. We realize that this is a franchise, so onions and tomato will probably never be part of the menu. We are okay with that though. As long as they keep focusing on their strengths.
