    Rainbow, jalapeño cheddar, pumpernickel bagels.

Try this place. I guarantee no other bagel place can match how super good their food is. I've gotta say-best bagels I've ever had. They are delicious! And, I'm so happy they make rainbow bagels all the time-so fun to eat. Their food is made from scratch & you can taste that. Their flavored cream cheeses are fabulous, with good variety. I'm going back to try even more of their food!

    Huge Flaky Croissant

This place is well worth the trip. The bagels and croissants are huge ! The bagels are soft and chewy as they should be, and the croissants are fresh and flaky (not greasy at all). The two people who served me at the counter were a pleasure, one of those rare situations where they really seem to enjoy being there making/serving bagels. I got 1/2 dozen bagels and 1 croissant, plain uncut to take home this time. Next time I stop I'm going to have to try some of their sandwiches, they look great ! If you like bagels, you owe it to yourself to try this place. It has the best bagels and croissants in Bradenton, hands down.

    Italian Sandwich

After Bradenton had a decades long dry spell of quality bagel shops and sandwich delis....shall I say our luck has changed. Over the course of 6 months suddenly options have popped up. Jersey Bagels I happened to note while driving down Cortez. Do not confuse this with Jersey Girl Bagels.....the previous ONLY option we USED to have in this county. Just Jersey Bagels is the name......and better imo. Tucked away in the small plaza next Tiajuana Flats, it is easy to miss. I made a mental note to pop in some day soon when not bombarded with meetings. Today was the day. Interior: very clean and new. There are places to sit if you choose to dine in, along with a coffee prep bar that was clean and organized. Everything had a nice aesthetic. There is definitely more room to grow as well if they expand more and need more tables. Staff: the employees were extremely nice. Everyone was helpful and they ALL were working together as a team and seemed to enjoy their job and coworkers. The owner was going out of his way to talk to patrons, and also was very hands on with working with his employees. Kudos. I worked in the service industry for years......and THIS is what you want to see from an establishment. FOOD: I was not expecting to see such a wide variety on the menu. Bagels, breakfast sandwiches, omelets, lunch wraps, paninies, hoagies, salads. Excellent variety to chose from for breakfast, brunch and lunch. My son and I first opted for the everything bagel with chive cream cheese. I always like to test the bagels by ordering it not toasted. If it is truly a good bagel.....you do not need to have it toasted. The chew, the softness, the flavor were on point. Note: they do not go skimpy on the cream cheese. We also ordered the Italian hoagie. The sandwich was massive. Plenty of thinly sliced meats and FRESH veggies. It is topped with a dressing. Next time I will request more dressing...... a great sandwich. Finally we ordered the chicken salad wrap. It is a GOOD chicken salad......with a nice dressing in it and chunks of chicken and no mystery bits. Surprisingly the sandwiches came with a small side. One being a pasta salad that was dressed and flavored nicely.....and the other being a small slaw. It is a unique ingredient coleslaw with more veggies than cabbage and did enjoy it As they were packing our food the owner told the girl to add in a couple of cookies. First.....somehow I missed cookies as an option. And yet there they were. Second.....these are not some dried out cookies. They were soft and moist. One being a chocolate chip....the other I thought was a snickerdoodle. Well......it kind of was a snickerdoodle except it has a apple filling......so tasted more like an apple pie. Overall, highly recommend and will be back to try ither items. My only complaint is I wish they were on west manatee so I could get there quicker on my workdays for lunch......perhaps someday.

Not for me! Trickery with pricing. Capers are $1.50 extra on a lox sandwich. Never heard of such a thing. Gold peak tea $5.00

As someone from Jersey who visits Florida often, this bagel sandwich is by far the best I've had outside of NJ.

Went here with some friends who actually recommended it from friends and Yelp…read more The exterior looked like the Italian restaurants you find in a larger city, trying hard to be noticed. The interior was in the same motif, an old school Italian restaurant that's been around for awhile. We had reservations and were sat immediately. Our server came over to our table almost immediately. He was friendly, professional and friendly and explained the menu and his recommendations. Even though the appetizers looked amazing, we opted to just order entrees as they came with a salad and pasta. We ordered 2 Chicken Parm's with a Caeser salad side and their homemade Tagliatelle pasta, Bronzino special and a Pasta (homemade linguine). I was one of the Chicken Parm's. DAMN, it was excellent! Very large portions of chicken and pasta with a tomato sauce that was absolutely one of the best I've ever had in a restaurant! It was thick, tasty and clung to the pasta and Parm. I HATE ordering pasta in a restaurant that isn't drained properly and the plate is a puddle with food sitting in it-and this WAS NOT the case! It was a big ass tasty platter of delicious food. The other plates were as large and delicious! For dessert, I had the Espresso Affogato, again DELICIOUS!!! I WILL be back to try some of the other dishes as, for me, unless they do a really good chicken parm, I won't go on!! Great job by the staff! Our table was constantly bussed, waters refilled and making sure we were satisfied.

Unfortunately, this is a one and done restaurant for me, and not one I would recommend. Sorry no…read morepictures! We were seated right away, and our server was attentive, almost a little too attentive at times that we felt rushed. The atmosphere was nice, but the restaurant is small, difficult to move around, and the lighting was darker than I prefer. We started with the fried calamari and meatballs. The calamari was good, but the meatballs were disappointing. They were about the size of golf balls which is ok but lacked flavor. For our entrees, we ordered the penne alla vodka, chicken parmesan, gnocchi, and I had the spaghetti special that was finished in a cheese wheel tableside. The presentation was fun, but the food itself just didn't live up to it. The marinara sauce across the dishes was bland, the gnocchi was forgettable, and my spaghetti portion was surprisingly small, more like an appetizer than an entrée. I almost always take leftovers home from Italian restaurants because the portions are generous and the food is rich. This time, there was nothing left because there wasn't much there to begin with. The biggest disappointment was the bread. When I go to an Italian restaurant, I expect warm, crusty Italian bread. Instead, it tasted like ordinary sliced sandwich bread. I actually like Publix bread, but that's not what I'm looking for with an Italian meal. Overall, nothing was terrible, but nothing stood out either. For the prices, I expected much more flavor, better portions, and a more authentic Italian experience.

Our wait staff Jennifer was very good and courteous. It was just the two of us and we each order our own Pizzas if you compare my pizza photo from my last visit to today's you'll see what I mean. Either the oven was too high or the pizza oven chef was overwhelmed because as I looked around ours weren't the only ones really dark. I did mention it to the wait staff and she was more than apologetic but it's not her fault. Anyway, I will probably be back and specify "light on top" you want the crust to have a bite not a chew that's tough. I know that sometimes you just have an off night. Pretty hard to screw up a cheese pizza tho. Sigh.

Came with several large shrimp, Spinach was uncut and still had stems, massive leaves of uncut spinach - too much, not cooked down. The spinach almost ruined the dish, and frankly the prices for the pasta and chicken dishes are high for a place that keeps napkin dispensers on the tables. Service was okay. We were one of four tables and there were two servers. Had to flag down for refills. She was never available - counting her tip money at the counter. Had to ask for a plate. This seems to be more of a pizza place... wouldn't recommend it otherwise.
