I stopped by here randomly to try out a sub. I ordered the American, BLT, and fries. The inside of the American was good, but the bread was extremely hard, which made it difficult to eat. I had to tear the top layer of the bread to eat it and eventually just took it completely off. The fries were meh, no seasoning and not crispy. The service was friendly, and the place was nice, with families and friends sitting around or ordering takeout. I drove about an hour just for this bagel and let me tell you it was so worth it! The bagel itself was the perfect texture and the fillings complemented it so well. I went with the Bee's Knees, since the cashier said that is her favorite, and I highly recommend! It was not overstuffed but had just the right amount of filling. The roll was super fresh, the cheese was perfectly gooey, and there was plenty of pork roll--definitely not skimpy. The hash browns were a great side, and the raspberry iced tea was the perfect finishing touch. The service was fantastic--AJ helped me pick exactly what I wanted and made the experience even better. The total came to around $15 for the meal and drink, which I felt was a great price for the quality and portion size. The atmosphere was amazing and really reminded me of a classic NY/NJ deli. I REALY wanted to love this place! I really did but I think this is a one and done for me gave it a try. First the prices are a bit High a bagel lox and cream cheese cost me $18 that's even more than New York sort of outrageous. There's like six people behind the counter and they're very disorganized can't get the food out in a timely manner when it's not busy. There doesn't seem to be an efficient system. Small sub sized sandwiches are almost $20 again very overpriced like everything else these days. Who can afford to eat this regularly? The food, it's good but not mind blowing the bagels are okay they are definitely not the same as New York Bagels even though they have some kind of New York filtration system which I don't even know what that means. It's worth a trip once, if you like it better than I did go back I wish them the best of luck. read more
