Shop couldn't even find a record of the tire I purchased despite that I had an email receipt. Didn't realize they over-torqued my wheel until I went to remove the wheel. I Spent an afternoon trying to remove the studs having to use an impact gun, extended breaker bar to try removing the bolts. When I went to remove the wheel lock the key broke off in the wheel stud because it was so tight. Had to resort to bolt extractors to try to remove with no success. Frustrated I took it into Mavis and of course they denied over torquing. I work on cars a lot and know when a bolt is over-torqued with an impact gun. I estimate it was torqued well over 120 ft/lbs. I showed the service manager the bolt on the passenger rear, they proceeded to pull the car into the bay only to examine the wrong wheel and say they didn't see an issue. I said maybe look at the bolt on the correct wheel. They had no clue how to extract. Brought it home spent and spent another hour finally removing the bolt. Will never under any circumstance use Mavis again totally unacceptable they don't train their techs how to properly torque bolts unacceptable! The tire had a puncture and had to get a tire in emergency and went against my better judgement to use Mavis. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me!
