The staff was really nice and they were willing to drop me off at my desired destination while they worked on my car. There was a nice waiting room with magazines & toys for kids and great seating. They also offer coffee or tea from a Keurig machine so I was able to enjoy some good coffee while I waited. What I didn't expect was to pay over $100 for an oil change. They didn't ask me what type of oil I wanted and most places do. I didn't think much of it. I don't drive a foreign car so the fact that I had to pay for some special type of oil I didn't want and wasn't aware was highly unusual to me. There wasn't anyone else there and maybe their prices are keeping business away. They advertise auto & truck sales so maybe that's where the pricing comes in? I mentioned my hearing impairment and they seemed very courteous on how they spoke to me, which I definitely appreciated. My Mercedes Benz 2006 C350 had the check engine light on for several months. I took it to a place first in Red Bank, New Jersey to get it checked out. They performed all these tasks on the car, but still weren't brutally honest about what was going on with the Check Engine light. I was upset. I spent $5000 on services and the issue wasn't resolved. I then took my car to Super Tool. I then showed Carlo and George the receipt and report the other place gave me. They were shocked at how much I invested in an old car with over 150,000 miles. They took a look at the car and tried to resolve the issue with the Check Engine light. George was brutally honest. The car is just very old and I would need to replace the engine. He suggested not to do it and to purchase a used car preferably a Honda or Toyota since they are reliable and affordable cars. I really appreciated his honesty. After I paid for my services, George handed over a detailed report with PICTURES of the engine. I've never come across a mechanic who provided that kind of service. Awesome. He then told me if I ever needed a pre-purchase inspection on a used car he would be happy to help me along with a very reasonable fee. He also told me not to drive my car anymore. Honestly and integrity equals trust. Something had happened to my car in which I wasn't able to drive it. Since my car was fixed there a couple of months ago, I called George the owner and described what had happened. I had my car serviced here (as well as at prior location) a few times. I had my oil changed a few times, which took a long time (one time was over an hour and a half). The other times I went in for more serious car repairs, which required I leave the car over nite or for a few days, so, which was expected. I definitely recommend this place for serious repairs. I had a great experience with George, the shop owner. I came in to swap a stock charge pipe with an aftermarket for a turbo vehicle. I initially attempted this job myself but couldn't get it to work but George made it work with no struggle. I also mentioned some additional issues I had with my car which he remedied with ease at no extra cost (adjusted fuel pressure and raised my ride height). He plans on relocating a little further down the street which will give him more space to take more jobs. I plan on returning here to get more work done. I live in Alabama and was looking at a car in New Jersey that had a rebuilt title. I found Super Tool Automotive based on other Yelp reviews. George was so professional. He explained exactly what they will do, how they do the work and what the report will look like. Not only was he professional but also easy to speak with and offered to call the dealership I was looking at the car at to set up an appointment to have the car brought in. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, the dealership wouldn't bring the car to George's shop which to me is very telling. So while I didn't get a final product from Super Tool Automotive I can tell that they were going to do an awesome job. I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to them for help if I lived in the area. The attention to detail is great at this place, and they won't overcharge you, which happens a lot. I did my research before choosing a place to get my fan belt replaced and it came to about $80 whereas most places I called told me it would be anywhere from $100 and higher. It's definitely worth it to check out this place. Just keep in mind that they are located way in the back of the parking lot because it can get a little confusing when you first get there. Went to another shop to get tires mounted and balanced, noticed that they put too many wheel weights on and car did not drive properly. Was very bumpy and stiff ride. Called Super Tool and went in for a balance, they not only balanced the wheels with the road force balancer properly but also took off the unnecessary weights and fixed the issue. George from Supertool is a gentleman mechanic and business owner with dignity and heart! I called him on labor day to book a pre-purchase car inspection. Communicating with him is a pleasure since he is friendly, thoughtful and takes the time to understand your needs and answer your questions. When we arrived with the car to his brand new shop (it's beautiful - you can shoot a TV series there on car repair) he was ready for us and remained a neutral third party the entire time, committed to giving the car an assessment so thorough you would think he was the one considering buying it! He went on a strategic test drive to test the shocks, the steering and wheels, the engine and transmission, etc. He hooked the car up to his computers and then put it on the lift. After an hour, he then gave myself and the salesman his full assessment and his concerns and even brought me into the garage to point out some things for me to see. He then gave me plenty of food for thought about my options and his experiences - based on my needs (towing a fifth wheel trailer with a truck). Based on his assessment, we were able to save another 1000 dollars on the car - and if we decided to do some of the body repairs he recommends, we will surely be bringing the car to him.
