They have a wide variety of used items as well as several very fine lines for which they are certified dealers. They run the audiophile gamut in terms of price. As an example, they have the basic Project Debut all the way up to a Clearaudio Reference Master. I was pleased with the candor of their advice. For example, they urged me not to replace certain items because what I have is already plenty good. Many stores would have tried to sell more stuff rather the help the customer get it right and save money. Three separate times they gave me advice or a solution that involved no money changing hands. They also listen. How a person hears is like a fingerprint. We're all different. I told them the type of sound I enjoy and they tailored systems extremely accurately to my preference - and told me several times that I would not like certain expensive items so not to bother. Bottom line: it was about the customer sharing their joy in listening, not about moving boxes. Be prepared to spend some time if you visit. Between the beauty of their inventory, the joy of listening to beautifully reproduced music, and the infectious enthusiasm of the staff, time tends to fly. But I just learned that the old owner passed away and the new Latino took it over, I trusted new owner fixing my Quad preamp and poweramp but they quoted over $1k to fix them and recommended to ditch them and buy a new ones. I couldn't ditch them since they were from my father and emotional attachment associated. But I was really shocked to realize that I had to pay $300 as inspection fees to pick them up as they were never repaired. All in all, I will completely forget the shop and never go back there.

My TV has been having some weird speaker problems so I figured I'd at least try to get it fixed…read morebefore sending it to it's final resting place. I found Paul in the phone book and he took my TV the same day. You do have to pay to get an estimate which was kind of a bummer, but if you get it fixed there, he applies the estimate fee to the final bill. He was quick and friendly and although the super small shop is a little messy, he seems to know what he is doing. He even offered to pick up my TV and deliver back to my house (for a charge of course) but I decided to save myself the money and just bring it over myself. I'd suggest you do the same if you have the transportation because I found the "pick up" price to be pretty expensive. Regardless, my TV is back to new and I'm happy! Plus, turn around was only one day!! I should mention also that he only takes cash and checks and the price was probably a little bit more than I thought but still relatively reasonable for an area that I think is rediculously over priced anyway. I was hoping my problem would only be about $100 and it was closer to $160, but what can you do, a girl needs her TV!
