This is a very good Mexican restaurant. Not much to eat around here but this is always my go to.

After finishing my work out at the gym just a couple of doors down, I headed in here for some Mexican lunch. My usual is a super burrito with al pastor. Most burrito place have this and it's kinda my standard to judge a place by. There aren't many choices of places to eat out here by the Gigafactory area where I'm on location for work. Just walked in and checked out the menu posted on the wall. The cashier speaks perfect English so no prob there like some places. Ordered my food and it was ready in a short time. The burrito was a nice hefty size. I unwrapped it to eat as a hand held thing. Like a big fat popsicle! I had one friend once, I couldn't believe it, we ordered burritos and he started eating it in his hands like it was a corn on the cobb, biting right into the middle and all the fillings all falling out, OMG! what the hell are you doing? He just looked clueless, I guess cause he never ate a burrito with his hands before, just had it wet on a plate and ate with a fork and knife! Had to show him how to eat a burrito hand held! Just had to share that burrito story! My burrito was super tasty and well filled. I actually didn't finish it all and took the rest back to the hotel for later. read more

Stopped here with a co worker while we were in the area for work. The restaurant is a small little spot near Tesla, few tables if you wanna sit down and enjoy your food. Service was ok, more of a get in get out kinda place. Wait time wasn't bad we got our food within 5 minutes of filling our sodas and sitting down. We got two burritos. I got a chicken burrito and my friend got a shrimp burrito. The chicken burrito tasted good! Nothing special but the taste was good. Both burritos were lacking meat though. The shrimp burrito had a few shrimp towards the bottom, same with the chicken. Mostly full of rice and a mess of veggies that were barely wrapped in the tortilla. It's just ok. Little pricey for what you get though, 36 dollars for two fountain sodas and two burritos. There's better choices unless you're out here looking for a quick lunch on break, I can't really see going out of the way just for this one. read more

My son had been boasting about Jehovah's for a few months and we were finally able to get there. No disappointment at all. They have a small dining area inside of the market, and it is a delight for the senses! The staff is eager to serve and assist in any question you have about their food! There were four of us so we ordered a bunch and shared for tastes! Quesabirria Tacos, Asada fries, Chicken Quesadilla, and a Carne Asada Burrito that is the size of Popeye's forearm! USA pkwy has been a normal pit stop for me on my daily run these days. I came across "Jehovah es mi pastor" there in search of a breakfast burrito. Service all handful of visits over the past month have been just okay. The same girl is usually working at the register. My receipts say her name is Lupita. My breakfast burrito was okay, bean and cheese burrito was just beans, and my asada torta was skimping on the meat for their prices. Salsa was lacking flavor. I always tip unless your service doesn't deserve it; only twice in my years dining out. I was recently looking back at my receipts, and Lupita/cashier on different occasions charged different "mod" charges. What those charges are for aren't posted, but I won't be tipping her a $ if I return. It's wrong to have open charges to your customers without their knowledge. That's theft, and that doesn't sit right with me. I don't know that I'll be back by. I'm glad there are food trucks nearby. Note: Check your receipt for open charges! read more

hi! lots of parking spaces it was really nice with cold AC during hot summer months the table needs to be cleaned more often as I found dirty food chunks and spots other than that, ordered the asada burrito and the size was huge. it was fulfilling, however, not the best quality. the restaurant uses a different type of rice (yellow), which is not a bad thing, but is different and good to note. I think this spot is mediocre in terms of quality and cleanliness, it would be good if you need to grab something quick. read more

A new little spot tucked into the industrial park. I've heard a lot of rave about this place from the Fernley folks at my work. But I had to see for myself. It's pretty easy to be the big fish in a small pond. The inside is a small little venue with a few small tables which is fine since I think this place will mostly thrive on to go orders. They even have a grab and go station which I'm sure is probably full of burritos and such during the normal rush hours. Everything inside was clean and the staff was friendly. I ended up ordering a Quesabirria combo and an enchilada combo for after I got off work. I'll say presentation wise the food looked pretty good. But in all honesty it lacked any depth of flavor. The consommé with the Quesabirria had no real flavor. The meat was cooked fine but again, not a lot of flavor profile. It tasted like plain meat and tortilla despite the amount of onions and consommé I poured into it. The enchilada were fairly similar. I ordered chicken and the chunks of chicken in the enchilada were massive, which I don't feel worked very well in the enchilada. There were a couple bites that left the next half inch or more of the tortilla empty due to a giant chunk of chicken coming out with the bite. I also ordered a slice of flan which again disappointed, it just honestly tasted like egg with nothing else. I'll definitely give them some time as new spots sometimes have a hard time hitting the mark right away. Seems like possibly an inexperienced chef. Sad when people can't count on their fingers or in their heads lol. So this happened. I went to pay for my food, and my order was $11.17 so I gave her $20.17, so I thought. She said I gave her $20.26 ok so maybe I did I thought I gave the .17 cents. Anyway when she gave me my change back she gave me $8.83 back, so I thought to my self wait I gave her the .17 so I should have gotten back $9.00. I wasn't overly impressed with the food, or the ambiance/decor. To be fair, it had just opened for business only a week before, so I'm sure they were in their "groove" yet. The protein was fair, but the rice side dish tasted like some precooked, just off the grocery store Uncle Ben's. It hardly tasted like authentic Mexican food. The decor was quite sparse and antiseptic. All in all, I call it fair. I will go back at some point to see if things have changed. If so, I will modify my review. read more
