The apple fritters were disappointing. They were more bread-y and dry inside. This might be my preference but if you prefer a moist fritter with a nice crunch then this wouldn't be the place to go to.

Clean donut shop, solid selection, friendly staff. This donut shop is far enough on North Texas that I feel much safer visiting. Donuts were fresh - I would return.

Fluffy yet dense (bounce back) raised sugar

I've said it many times, I am a donut connoisseur and usually I am a cake plain old fashion donut guy. That being said I usually like a dense thick donut but these days I'm finding I also like super light and fluffy raised sugar donuts. These here are a hybrid of a dense and fluffy donut, judging by the immediate bounce back from a bite of a raised sugar donut not to be confused by a fluffy airy donut that stays flat after being bitten. I know, I Love donuts so hope this helps another Donut Lover. Oh and parking is tight and limited.

These donuts are probably the fluffiest donuts in the area. I was surprisingly shocked at how much of a bounce you get with these light and airy breakfast treats. The service was quick, efficient and organized. I love love love French cruellers and not everyone can make it the way I like and the one by my house would make it the best. However this is very close to it. I called the shop and asked if they could side a few of them for me and they so graciously did. I snagged the last four. Reading reviews the breakfast sandwiches are also good, but a friend got that one. Bonus points for this shop because if you bring in your own container you get a few cents off from your half dozen or bakers dozen. It's a win win for the donut shop and reduce some trash for our environment.

#3 Sausage, egg & cheese croissant sandwich! Very satisfying!

We moved to Suisun almost a year ago. We're making our way to visit all of the donut shops. Hands down the best customer service. They're quick to greet you and getting your order taken care of. I like how quick they get you in and out. It was pretty busy right after we got there. I ordered the Sausage, egg and cheese croissant. It was very satisfying. My husband and son got the everything croissant. (Sorry no pic, they were hangry) They loved it, especially the sweet pickled jalapeños. They said that made it taste different and great! Try the butterfly glazed, it was different. I couldn't figure out the flavor but it was fruity sweet yet creamy. Check this place out. So far they're in the lead of donut shops in the area.

This is my favorite donut place in Fairfield. In my opinion, the cinnamon twisted is just perfection. I like cinnamon and they are generous with the cinnamon. It's always busy here so today was no different. It's a small space so it's hard to social distance but we try. Today I tried the Kona coffee for the first time. It's very good. My son's will wake up to donut holes and a chocolate donut which is a favorite. The donuts are always fresh and I appreciate it. It's a reason why they are voted the best in Solano. Oh one more thing, if you want variety, I recommend going early as they have sold out several time when you are not the early bird. read more

Great donuts and breakfast sandwiches. My favorite is the breakfast bagel with jalapeño. The smell and taste of the bagel is honestly just amazing. The combination of the cheese egg sausage and jalapeño just makes you crave it daily. The owners are a great Asian family and very friendly. read more

Love this place! Workers are always fast and doughnuts are always fresh. These are always so fluffy and if you just want doughnut it holes they give you a lot for cheap! Only issue is parking is in the back, and it's a bit sketch sometimes. read more

Absolutely disappointed with today's door dash order. I have not had a problem in the past until today. I picked a dozen assorted donuts. Because they did not have what I order they gave me 7 chocolate donuts (the Same) without calling to see if I would like replacement. Reviewing just the donuts. I asked my husband to get a dozen of donuts here since I've heard a lot of people raving about this "heavenly" donuts. Well, I am a bit disappointed. Maybe I was just expecting too much. But only donuts I liked was the original glazed one, and the cruller looking donut. But that's it. I would love to love the jelly donut, but it's just weird. The thickness of the bread, and the amount of jelly is weird. Maybe we should've tried the more artisan looking ones. But eh. I don't know if we're ever going back. read more

This is a little donut shop in downtown Fairfield, where the b/f and I were visiting for the weekend. We stopped in after eating breakfast down the street because I cannot resist a donut shop. This one was buzzing with customers on the Saturday morning that we went. The Yelp sticker on the door wasn't even red anymore, a sign that it's been there for a while and for good reason. We picked out 3 delicious donuts for only $2.40-deal! Service is quick and the donuts are fresh and moist. If I lived in Fairfield, I'd definitely be a regular at Jelly Doughnut. read more

I swing by from time to time when I want that good ol morning sugar rush. I've only tried like 2 other donut places in town and the thing that keeps me from wandering off is their cinnamon crumb cake and how their old fashions still have that fried crispiness on certain ends even after a day old. Friendly people, quick service, and a free cup of coffee with a yelp check-in (when I was coming in). Only complaint is the parking but people are usually in and out. read more

Today she was so patient with me even when I was being picky and telling her to get the exact doughnut I wanted from the case ("not the big one, the perfectly round one I'm sorry it's just so cute!"). The bagel sandwiches are deliciously fresh with a couple of nice options for you to choose from - I love getting jalapenos on mine with an egg and cream cheese. Yum! Super friendly place with super good donuts. Their Maple Bar is too good, like the exact ratio of maple to dough. I would recommend trying to go earlier in the day. They do make a lot of donuts, but the demand for them is high as well. Go early to have your choice of sweet treats! read more

I finally made it in early thanks to daylight saving time. I woke-up at 8 on Sunday which felt more like 9:00 am. Since I had 2 hours till football started, I figured I'd run some early morning errands. As I was leaving my daughter said, "Daddy, I want donut holes for breakfast". I knew exactly where she wanted them from, Jelly Doughnut. When I arrived it was the busiest I've ever seen it. They also have a better selection of different varieties if you go early. I got my usual mix and match dozen and also a dozen donut holes for the kids. I must say it again, this place has the best donuts in Fairfield and the prices are very reasonable. Like I said, I got a dozen donuts and a dozen holes for just about $8. What a deal, you can't beat that. One last thing, like everyone else says, these donuts stay fresh for a few days. read more

Amazing sign. The pink paint outside ties it all together. The crullers are on point, the apple fritters are huge, along with the maple bars. It's also lovely that JD accepts a credit card since that seems to be a rarity in the family owned donut shops these days. Would visit again for sure. read more

Lets be honest, the young gentleman who works here during the week is friendly, kind, honest and generous. Welcoming smile and very easy to deal with. I only ever see this person during the week, which is a shame. He is consistent in his pricing and typically throws in a free donut or some donut holes to boot. He is the only reason this place gets two stars. On the weekends the elderly people who run the Jelly Donut sell OLD donuts which are over priced. Just paid $7 for an 2 day old apple fritter and 3 donuts. Seven. Dollars. I tried asking why the total came to seven dollars but I could not understand his rationale. The woman who works here is the same. The last few times I have paid between $6-9 dollars for 4-5 donuts, day old, and there is NO consistency here. Find some place else. Just not worth the headache anymore. read more

Went here on a Saturday at 730. Already a line of 15 people. Moved fast though. We got breakfast sandwiches. They were tasty and for $8 and some change, not a bad deal for two. Parking is a one way deal and tight. I can see it being a cluster @#%* when REALLY busy. read more

This place is awesome. I come here probably twice a month on Sunday's I work in the city. We normally grab a dozen doughnuts. The people that work there are usually quite nice. Sometime there's kind of a language barrier, but it's never bothered me or made anything too hard. The doughnuts are really great and fresh. The place is kind of small and in one of the more rougher areas of Fairfield, but go in the morning and it's a totally fine place to be. Overall, great doughnuts and great people! Highly recommend checking it out! read more

He was barely acknowledged the entire time -- only enough to take his order, which was wrong when he received it. The primary worker (also works at jelly donut) was extremely rude and dismissive, never even speaking directly to him, and instead had the trainee grab the donuts while continuing to ignore incoming customers because they were focused on a larger order. Being busy is understandable, but it's not an excuse to treat paying customers so poorly. Customer service matters, especially when people are choosing to spend their money supporting your business. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be returning.

The new lady at the register had to tell the other lady to make my sandwich which should repeated twice on different occasions. To make matters worse, their credit card machine was out of order and they requested cash instead. Fortunately, I had some cash on hand. The chicken banh mi seemed like it had been microwaved, which was disappointing, although the presentation looked decent and the taste was okay. I've had worse experiences, but my main issues were with the two ladies working in the back and at the register who were preparing the food. They just seemed really disorganized; otherwise, it should have been a typical donut shop.

There were three staff members in total (thin build, Latino male), medium build Filipino female with glasses, and a thin build Asian female). A young woman, who had placed an online order for two coffee drinks asked repeatedly if anyone was going to make her drink order. It took two staff members - Asian female, Latino male) - to help figure it out, each debating who was going to make it. The Filipino female kept coming from the back to bring sandwich items to seated waiting customers. The male continued to look at online orders before helping the family of three in front of me. When their order was finalized, the male walked away from the register and proceeded to look at the online orders. He said nothing to the line, did not acknowledge our presence. He went to the back to make a sandwich - again two staff members working on one thing (Filipino female, Latino male) while in person customers stood and waited. The Filipino female asked what him what was in the bag while standing at the front of the store. The other Asian female was still working on the coffee drinks from the online order from when I first walked in. After about ten minutes of being walked by and disregarded, while waiting to be acknowledged, I asked is anyone going to take our orders at the counter? The male replied, "Yes, but we have a lot of online orders and we'll get to you shortly." So online orders take precedent over those waiting in store to purchase? If this is the case, then why are there only three staff members who are clearly not organized nor serve in the capacity of enough staff to assist customers online and in person? If I had not asked about being helped, no telling how long staff would had continued to ignore us. The Filipino female walked over, asked how my day was and asked what she could get me. After each donut selection shared, anything else?... She was being passive aggressive in her tone and with her words. As I was waiting to select my receipt options, she saiid, "All of that for two donuts" to the male. Who both went into the back while the rest of the building line waited. When I finished my receipt selection and entering my phone number, the father and son behind me were still waiting without any assistance or staff acknowledgement.. If I had not promised my daughter a donut prior to order road trip, I would have left long before. Worse service as it was nonexistent to those in person. There were three staff, two were doing staff and the third at the front was nonexistent. Do better Dynamite, your customer service was absent yesterday, staff not at all prepared or organized and your store is not staffed to assist both online and in person without neglecting in person. Communication was nonexistent as well, leaving customers standing in line without a single word or thought of returning any time soon. Online orders, you'll be waiting too. There were three people who walked in, going directly the register with a phone in their hands. They were waiting two for the pickup while the young lady wanted her coffees made. The ambiance here...people were upset across the board. I would rather drive to Pinole and get service, Dynamite donuts are not worth that wait or nonexistent level of service.

We were only a few hours past the cutoff, and instead of offering any understanding or trying to help, the staff argued about it. Most companies with decent customer service would honor something like that. As someone with 15+ years in customer service, it's disappointing to see an establishment with so much potential fall so short in this area. The staff comes across as cold, monotone, and uninterested in helping customers. To make matters worse, there seems to be little to no manager or lead support available to assist with bigger issues. Unfortunately, the customer service here has been a zero every time I've visited.

I came here on New Year's Day around 2-3 PM and I was honestly grateful they were open because not many places were. The donuts were really good -- fresh, decent quality, and exactly what I was looking for that day. We even shared some with a coworker and they enjoyed them too. The service was friendly and welcoming. I didn't feel rushed when ordering, and I appreciated being able to ask questions without feeling like I was inconveniencing anyone. My only downside is the pricing. Half a dozen donuts was over $10, which felt pretty high to me. I remember when half a dozen was closer to $6-$7, so the price increase definitely stood out. That said, the donuts were good and I still left satisfied. Overall, I'm happy they were open on a holiday and I appreciate them bringing something sweet to the community.
