Arrived on Thursday around 12 and this place was slightly packed. ordered : (3/5) - earl grey matcha latte: I got this with oat milk and it tastes like Starbucks quality matcha! So if you're looking for a high quality matcha, this isn't it. But it does taste good! They have a nice earl grey syrup that sweetens up the matcha. I probably wouldn't order this again, it came out to 9.75 which is pretty more expensive than an avocado toast! The matcha was also lacking flavor and kinda chunky. I really enjoyed the earl grey addition tho! service: (4/5) The baristas made some good recommendations. However I found it really weird that the price of the drinks aren't posted on the menu on the wall nor on the printed menu. I'm not sure if that's something they still needed to work on? But I was really shocked at the price of my drink especially because there was no mentioning of added charges anywhere. vibe: (4/5) I do love the lighting in here! It would be a great spot to study, but the seat are honestly really uncomfortable. They have a nice long wood table in the middle. This place is located in a park, so its also great for families ! parking: (5/5) Small free parking lot! overall: This place is nice for students since it closes late! But it would be nice to have some transparency on the prices!

5 stars just for the location and atmosphere. My husband and I made a pitstop here on our way to his dad's home and it was very nice. The parking lot has a good amount of spaces and free. There's no complaints on my end. You order your drinks at the counter then decide if you want to sit inside or outside and the weather was so nice that we opted for the outdoor seating. Service was quick and friendly. Prices are reasonable.

LOVE grabbing a matcha from Journey Coffee whenever I'm in the area! One of the things I do miss when I used to live around here was coming to this Journey Coffee location and getting work or studying done while sipping matcha and looking out at the lake waters. I would sometimes even take my matcha and do a nice lap around the lake when the weather was nice. Journey Coffee has a few locations but the One Lake location was always my favorite. I've tried a few of their food and drinks and all were super satisfying. If I were to have ordered food, my go-to is their Sausage, Egg, and Cheddar Sandwich. It's always packed with flavor and a good size for a breakfast sandwich. When I went in today, I didn't even need to look at the menu because I knew that I had to get their Matcha Latte sweetened and with vanilla syrup. Not sure what they do exactly with their matcha but it's just so rich and creamy and not overly sweet so you can really taste the matcha flavor. Always a must stop when in the area!

I've been going to Journey's whenever I visit friends here! I love the natural lighting the enters the shop and the seating area is a perfect place to study or do some work. Ambiance gets 5 stars from me. As for taste and service, I like the sandwiches more than the drinks. The coffee flavors are creative but I like more natural and fuller coffee tastes. In the photo, I tried the banana matcha which has a bit of an artificial banana taste in the cold foam which masks the matcha flavor. It's a bit too sweet to my liking. However, I do really like the lavender latte which is my go to. The floral and coffee flavors complement each other so well!

Such a cute little coffee shop in the middle of a housing community. There is a lot of searing area to have a coffee & snack and work or just enjoy your coffee there. Staff was very friendly got our order and then order came out quickly. I like that they have seasonal drinks as well. If you don't like coffee they also have other drinks available. They also have pastries and snacks to choose from. Will definetly be back soon when in the area.

Great Matcha at the One Lake Journey Coffe. Stopped by the café at One Lake in Fairfield and really enjoyed the experience. I ordered the matcha latte and it was absolutely perfect--smooth, well-balanced, and not too sweet. You could really taste the quality. My friend got an iced caramel macchiato, which was also super tasty, but they didn't ask if she wanted it sweetened. It came without sugar, and she didn't love that surprise. A quick heads-up would've made a difference. The space itself is cozy and inviting--perfect for catching up or getting some work done. Overall, a nice spot for a casual coffee break, and I'd definitely come back for another matcha!

One Lake hidden neighborhood gem. Tucked away next to a stunning lake in one of the most beautiful residential spots around, Journey Coffee isn't just a coffee shop--it's an experience. The view alone is worth the trip: peaceful, picturesque, and straight-up postcard-worthy. The vibes? Immaculate. The baristas? Super friendly and know their craft. I grabbed a vanilla latte and their sausage, egg + cheddar English muffin sandwich--and wow. The latte was smooth, creamy, just the right touch of sweetness, and came with some top-tier foam art. As for the sandwich? Homemade goodness with a cheese pull that should be illegal. This place is a 10/10. Perfect weekend move--grab your drink, soak up the views, maybe take a lakeside stroll. Trust me, your soul (and taste buds) will thank you.

Solid coffee shop right between Fairfield and Vacaville! They have vegan options for drinks and some vegan baked goods, but sell out pretty quickly. My go to is an iced oat milk latte and the lemon blueberry muffin. Or I try one of their seasonal drinks when it sounds good! I just always ask if the syrup has dairy or not to doublecheck. I wish they had more savory food vegan options but there is a vegan burger on the menu when they serve dinner. There's a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating and there's WiFi, so it's my go to place to get work done on the weekdays. On the weekends it gets pretty busy fast and can be harder to find seating.

The prettiest coffee shop with prettiest view! Can't believe this is tucked away in Fairfield. The parking lot is small but if you get there early, then there's no problem! There is no shortage of seating inside and outside, plus there is a beautiful trail to walk around the lake if you want to just take your coffee to go. The service was wonderful here to top it all off. I picked the Apple Chaider from their fall seasonal menu and loved it!! The cream top turned it into the most delicious apple cider. We also had their new chocolate scone which was amazing - not dry like a typical scone at all. It was rich but not too sweet, and so moist! Would definitely come back again if I was in the area, worth the little detour off the highway!

This I'm shouldn't taste this good . It's too yummy

Graham Cracker Smore Latte w/ almond milk(seasonal drink)

I stopped by Journey Coffee by the lake, after work. It was on the way home. I really was feenin for a protein smoothie (specifically the Epic Journey smoothie). I was told by the gal at the register that they weren't serving smoothies (can't remember if she said for the evening or at all tofay). I was disappointed. I didn't want anything caffeinated. I can't drink any caffeine after 12pm or I won't be able to sleep. Not wanting to waste my time and leaving, I decided to try their seasonal drink: Graham Cracker S'mores latte (iced, with almond milk). I figure it's Friday, I'm off tomorrow...so what if I go to sleep at 3 am? LOL. Bring on the caffeine! After I paid, I went to the bathroom to kill time. After I came out, my drink was already on the counter! It was done quicker than expected! I had 4 people who ordered ahead of me..I was prepared to be waiting awhile. The Graham Cracker Smore Latte didn't taste like a graham cracker, but, I did enjoy it! It had a lot of cinnamon, which I loved. It tasted like your regular latte with almond milk at first. Then after a few sips, I decided to swirl my cup a bit. Boom! There goes some more flavor! I dunno, I think it tasted more like a pie than a graham cracker. This exceeded my expectations! This Journey Coffee location is not your typical coffee shop. It's a lake house (Ha! I sense a theme!!) by a lake in one of those newer housing communities. It's spacious, with lots of seats, and tall windows throughout the shop. No matter where you sit, you were treated to the view of the lake outside. There were a bunch of benches to sit outside. It was 100+ degrees outside, so, I sat inside by a window. Journey Coffee at One Lake was aesthetically pleasing with pleasant staff, and good coffee. I have to knock them a star for not serving smoothies though!

Ask the Community - Journey Coffee

    How strong is the wifi?

Inside sometimes there is connectivity issues but more recently it has been working fine! Both inside and outside. There are many people with their laptops inside.

    Any gluten-free food options?

Well, for starters, coffee. They also have some nice looking fruit and some delicious chocolate. I'm sure you'll find plenty of gluten free things to ingest.

Does anyone know what the wifi pw is or how to get it?

While the flavor was decent, it definitely didn't match the price point. We also tried the turkey sandwich, which was underwhelming and lacked the flavor we were hoping for. I got a lemonade (I think peach) and banana pudding. First off, I stopped getting porkchops when I order out a long time ago. You'd think that the big fancy restaurants can get a porkchop right, but they can't. They're too tough and bland. The only porkchops I trust to taste good are the ones my dad makes. I decided to be risky and get the smothered porkchops and they did not disappoint! They're just the right size and not tough and the sauce on it is amazing. I think I'm gonna have to come here for my porkchop fix when my dad hasn't made any. Yams and mac and cheese were so tasty and flavorful. The lemonade was tangy and delicious and they offer various flavors. The banana pudding was such a yummy dessert. My husband said he'd only take a bite or two and ended up eating his entire half. The location has a couple tables outside and they're clean! First thing I noticed was how spotless they are. The portions are so generous and it's enough to get two good meals, so there was definitely more goodness left for us to have a good dinner later after being beat from snowboarding. As we were putting things away to take home, the owner came out to check on us and ask how it was. Very friendly interaction. Check this place out for generous portions packed with flavor.

We tried the following side dishes: greens, macaroni and cheese, yams, and red beans and rice. The greens were super tender and seasoned well, the mac & cheese wasn't quite my taste, the yams were fresh and weren't bad but could have been a bit sweeter, and the red beans were large - maybe kidney beans - I'm not sure. I prefer small red beans but the taste wasn't bad. The cornbread muffins were good. Not sweet like Jiffy though. Overall everything was seasoned very well like soul food is supposed to be. Thank you Fatsoz for that! I will give them another try.
