It feels weird to be doing a review of Jellyrolls when it is closing soon. But they are scheduled to close their location in Walt Disney World, located at the Boardwalk on April 19th. I have not been here in years, probably almost 15 years, so I was excited when some friends came to visit and wanted to head over here one last time. This is a dueling piano bar that takes music requests, and then the two piano players play and sing your song. It is located on Disney's Boardwalk Resort, on the boardwalk. There is a cost to get inside, which is $22. There are a few different discount codes that you can use, which we did, and it saved us $2 each. Once inside they have 2 bars, tables and chairs and then a lot of standing room. They open their doors at 7:00pm but music does not start until 8:00pm. I do wish it started right at 7, but the hour moved fast. And since it is closing soon, the line was long. We got in line about 30 minutes before opening, and we had almost 10-12 groups in front of us. We also had to save seats for 7 more people. They do have a sign that says you cannot do this, but we did. The manager at one point, asked how many additional chairs we needed, and she brought them to us. I think at this point; they probably don't care. We had 2 high top tables towards the back lower section. They do bring you your first cup of water along with popcorn. I thought the popcorn was a nice touch. If you want more water, they have big jugs on the bars, you can go and grab it yourself. The popcorn your server will refill for you. Our server was so nice, he brought extra waters to the table right away, so it looked like there were more people sitting, while we waited for our friends. He checked on us many times throughout the night. He really was on top of everything, and we didn't have to wait very long when our drinks were empty. Jellyrolls is very expensive. They have beer, a few wine options and then mixed drinks. They do have a full bar so they can also make you a drink not on the menu. There are a few specialty drinks on their menu along with their bucket style drinks. I will say I felt the drinks on their menu were very high, especially for Disney prices. We stuck with beer which was about $10.25 per bottle. Guiness for my husband and Corona for myself. I felt that was pretty reasonable considering being at Disney. The piano players play what is requested and they had hundreds of suggestions. You write your song request on the napkins and then you bring them up to the pianos, or your server can bring them. As with most piano bars, if you are tipping them with the song request, they will more than likely play it. I felt that they were picking and choosing songs. For most of the first hour I did not know the song or did not care for the song. I found myself actually sort of bored. They did a lot of older songs, and not many newer songs. At one point they sang some Disney songs, but it was mostly non-Disney. Its hard to tell in my photos but they did have hundreds of requests. I'm not sure why the songs chosen were not the best, as I said I was bored and looking at my phone. That was really the only negative. I think the excitement of this place also goes with who is in the audience. If they audience is engaged, it makes for a better experience. I will say it is extremely loud in here! It was so hard to talk to people at our table. The night we went, again, closing this month, it was packed. Someone at one point came over and said he had been standing the whole time, could I signal him when I was leaving. It was a strange request personally. I think if you are interested in going in the next couple weeks, you need to get here early. There are no questions that this place is not going to be packed. Make the effort, and go early, especially if you want a table. How do we get here? That is the other issue. Disney has made it almost impossible to park at the resorts without a reservation. If I am coming at 7:00 pm at night, I am clearly not trying to hop into the park and get free parking. I think they need to loosen their strings, especially for the Boardwalk. There is the Atlantic Dance Hall and Jellyrolls, open at night. If you do not have a reservation, you are not parking here. Park at Disney Springs and take a bus, just be mindful of when the last bus heads back to Disney Springs. You can also take an Uber, but I have heard, resorts are not even allowing Ubers to go in. I really think Disney needs to loosen the strings on parking especially at places with nighttime activities. All in all, Jellyrolls is fun but be prepared to spend lots of money. They charge at the door; drinks are expensive as well. It is sad that they are closing, they have been here for almost 30 years. I am very curious what will be replacing it. Disney does not have a ton of nighttime activities and they are about to lose one more. I would say if you can, check it out in the next couple weeks before it closes. read more

We went during their last two weeks of being open with some friends visiting from out of town. Jellyrolls is a dueling piano bar that takes music requests, which you write on a napkin, and then two piano players play and sing your song. It's identical to Howl at the Moon if you have ever been there. They were located a Disney's Boardwalk Resort. There is a cost to get inside, which is $22. Once inside there are 2 bars, tables and chairs and then tons of standing room. The doors open at 7:00pm but music does not start until 8:00pm. We did have a line to get in, and waited about 30 minutes before opening, there were about 10-12 groups in front of us. We also had to save seats for 7 additional people. My wife got really nervous since they have a sign that says you cannot save tables, but we did anyway. At one point, the manager asked how many additional chairs we needed, and she brought them to us. So, we felt we were ok saving seats. I will say closer to 8:00pm, people were eyeballing our tables. They do bring you your first cup of water along with popcorn. This was Disney popcorn so delicious! I liked that they had popcorn, since there was no other food they offered. If you want more water, you had to go to the bars and get it yourself from the large jugs of water they had. The popcorn your server will refill for you. Our server was incredibly friendly, he brought extra waters to the table right away, so it looked like there were more people sitting, while we waited for our friends. They offer a full service bar, beer and wine. There were a few speciality drinks as well as larger bucket drinks. Because of the prices, we stayed with bottles of beer which was about $10.25 per bottle. The piano players play what is requested from the audience and there were hundreds of suggestions. You write your song request on the napkins and then you bring them up to the pianos, or your server can bring them. As with most piano bars, you have a better chance to get your song plated if you include money with it. They work off tips. I felt that they were picking and choosing songs and for most of the first hour I did not know the song or did not care for the song. My wife and I were actually board and just talked to our friends, we were not even really paying attention. This is very Disney-fied, so no cursing or swearing or inappropriate songs. They did a lot of older songs, and not many newer songs and at one point played about 45 minutes of straight Disney songs. I will say that your experience is indictive of the audience. If they audience is engaged, it makes for a better experience. It's also worth noting that it is very loud inside. It was hard to talk to our group. All in all, Jellyrolls is fun but be prepared to spend lots of money. I do wish it had stayed at Disney as there is not a ton of nighttime adult things to do since Pleasure Island closed. Two pianos, four singers and songs from all decades performed to perfection that ends up being uncontainable fun! If you are looking for wholesome fun times with a group of friends or if you're celebrating a special night with a select few, Jellyrolls is where you want to be. Jellyrolls doesn't have food, but they do have drinks. Their popcorn machine broke down so now they have bags of kettle chips instead for you to snack on. A server will take your order or you can walk up to the bar and order. Two performers take turns at the piano and after about an hour or so, they switch off to two other performers and then they switch back again an hour after that. You write down your song requests on little white napkin squares and wedge a few dollars in with your request. Some songs get performed within 30 minutes of your request, others get performed 2 hours later, and others don't get performed due to either time constraints or other reasons. I was impressed because the performers never reference an iPad or phone to check lyrics or music. If they sing it, they blast it with full passion. Certain singers are stronger on certain songs so they might pass the request to the other person. The sing your favorites from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, to now. You might find yourself lost in Eminem's "Lose Yourself" or Kermit the Frog's "Rainbow Connection" or the Killers "Mr. Brightside" or Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline." And because you are at Disney, people do request Disney songs. If you are celebrating a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, etc.) be sure to write that under the song request and they will give you a shout out. It was so fun that my group stayed for five hours!!! Admission is $22 per person (drinks not included). ***Hot Tip*** If it's a peak season vacation week or just close to the weekend, get there when the doors open at 7 pm so that you can lock in a good table. At the end of September, we traveled to Disney World in Orlando to be at the happiest place on Earth. While we were there, we went to Jellyrolls to hear the Dueling Pianos. It is located on the Boardwalk near the Epcot Resorts. It's free admission. This was such a fun place!! The musicians played music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. We sang along because we knew the words! Everyone was singing. It is very loud in there, so if you have a problem with that, you might wear ear plugs. They do not serve food here, but you can order drinks, and they do give you free popcorn! Some of the guests were dancing on the dance floor. The servers were very busy, but they were efficient and friendly. We took the Skyliner there. Unfortunately, the rain came down for a bit. Could not love or recommend Jellyrolls more! This dueling pianos bar is such a good time! Doors open at 7 and the music starts at 8 and goes all the way to 1:45am. The bar itself is large and does have a lot of table seating but it fills up quickly so definitely get there early if you'd like a table! The service is very and friendly. They bring drinks out rather quickly and keep the popcorn popping. I will say, my only negative to Jellyrolls is the pricing of drinks. I ordered a mocktail for $15...you have to purchase the mocktail in a souvenir cup so it drives the price up. We ordered 3 drinks and a beer and our total was $50...which feels a little pricey. The music is awesome and you of course can make requests via napkins for the players to play. Whenever I'm here at the boardwalk area, we always stop by Jellyrolls. This is a dueling piano bar where they play a lot of really great songs and the performers are amazing. They have a wide repertoire of songs that they're able to play. They played almost everything from classics to the songs on the radio. They're always immensely talented and I'm always so enamored by their abilities. The space itself has a cool set up the outer section is raised and section down below is almost like a pit section where you end up being closer to the performers. There is a bar to the right and there's also a wait staff that will come around if you're sitting at a table. When you first walk in it's almost like a concert venue where you pay the person at the window and then you're able to have access to the inside. They are located on one of the ends of the boardwalk so if you're staying at one of the hotels right there and it's easy access to get there. This is a very cool venue and place to meet up for a great time. read more

We had a great time. Stopped here with friends after dinner at the Flying Fish (on the boardwalk). What a blast. Extremely talented musicians who play whatever song that is requested. Incredible. FREE popcorn that is brought to you by your server. She acts as your bartender taking orders and bringing you your drinks. So, you write your song requests on napkins and then they start playing. They will play anything and everything. Extremely talented guys who play for about an hour at a time and then they trade out and take a break. What a great time. Our biggest complaint...we sent up multiple songs WITH cash and none of them got played. We stayed for 2 hours so there was plenty of time BUT they also fill the top 3rd of each piano with requests from people too so. Definitely worth a visit but not sure how you can get past the security at the gate without a dinner reservation. That is the one caveat to be aware of...it is a part of a Disney property and as a result you need to have a purpose for being there...I don't know if "I am headed to the Jellyrolls if that is reason enough. Jellyrolls was my favorite place we went to on our most recent trip to Disney. The dueling piano setup is so fun, and the performers are all fantastic! Since the venue is named after one of the most iconic American piano players of all time I expected more piano and a wider variety of music at the very least. It was like going to a place named "Mozart's" where they only played death metal at full volume. It's surprising that a place this sleazy exists on Disney Property. The patrons were extremely drunk, screaming song names at the stage and throwing up in the bathroom. (Not kidding) I would have rated it higher with better drink offerings and a classier vibe, but the beer menu was Budweiser and the drinks ridiculously overpriced sugar shots. The promised "free popcorn" was non existent. I tried to avoid the terrible mixed drinks and beer by ordering a simple shot of the house bourbon, but that was $25 plus tip. That's where it ends..service is slow and forgetful, I would have given them a pass had it been busy, it wasn't..it was just lack of caring or experience on our servers part. Awesome Disney entertainment behind Epcot. I see bad Yelp reviews complaining about the cover charge and either being too loud or not catering enough to the young bar crowd. To answer those reviews, let's make it clear that Jellyrolls is in the Epcot resorts part of Walt Disney World, mostly DVC timeshares. I am a DVC timeshare owner myself and my home resort is nearby (Beach Club). Most DVC owners are in the 40-60 year range, so you would expect most songs requested in the bar to reflect those ages. Regardless, I was in town for a business conference and attended with a group to hear a variety of music from the 1960s to current, including a compilation of Disney songs for the Disney geeks. Yes, you can attend without having to actually stay in the Epcot resorts area. The people who work at Jellyrolls are all Disney cast members and they are very talented. When you attend a Disney theme park, some of the money paid for your park ticket goes to paying for entertainment, such as fireworks, shows and parades. Why should there be a problem with a $20 cover charge for quality entertainment? If you are in Epcot during a late night closing, walk-out the World Showcase exit and enjoy a few hours of fun. $12 for high noons, but the music is fantastic. I went on a girl's trip for my birthday weekend and it dawned on me that no kids meant we could be awake for as long as we wanted. My other friend was down to check out Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance Hall (which I will also review), so we walked over after Harmonious, which ended up being about 10 p.m. It was a Saturday night, so conceivably this is the busiest they get, which isn't super busy. However, at 10 p.m. there weren't any tables open. It was easy enough for us to stand, but that's why another friend left, because she was done standing after being at Disney all day. They switched out pianists every hour. We weren't big fans of the first two, but luckily they switched pretty soon after we got there and then by the time the first two came back, we had drank a bit so it was better. Drinks are pricey! $12 high noons. It's also $18 cover charge so they must stay in business by this upcharge in drinks. The clientele here is older, like 40-50 is their sweet spot. However, at 32 I loved a majority of the music. They had Elton John, Beyonce, Hanson, Celine Dion, it was all over the place. I sang my heart out and just had a great time. However, I think you need to be with people who are down to have a good time too. This place is what you make of it. Even when it got pretty empty at midnight, we were still jamming out. It closes at 1:45 a.m. which is 45 minutes later than the Dance Hall. (Yes, we actually closed out the place). This isn't a cocktail bar. The menu reminded me of college, which is why we stuck with high noons, but you aren't coming here to eat. They do have free popcorn, which we started eating at 1 a.m. This is a fun place, but only if you're a little older and dorky. It fit me perfectly. read more

While visiting the Disney parks in Orlando, my boyfriend's family and I decided to change it up and spend one of our evenings enjoying the boardwalk. After playing a few boardwalk games and taking in the scenery, we decided to pop into Jellyrolls for a drink. They grew up going to Disney World and said they weren't used to seeing Jellyrolls so packed and so much like a regular bar, but we all had a blast! When I say packed, it was PACKED! There was no where to sit and we couldn't even find a place to set our drinks down at first. It was fine though because with it being a dueling piano bar, we wanted to dance anyway! I didn't think I'd have the energy to do so after so many Disney days in a row, but the performers were so lively, they somehow got me to power through! Dueling pianos is my absolute favorite and this spot has the best I have ever seen. They are so talented and can do any song. I love this place with tables and bar stools all facing the pianos. Started out having a good time. The performers are AH-MAZINGLY talented. There were a few groups of "Bride Squads", one of which was louder than the performers and sloppy;to be expected, I suppose. The performers were catering to the crowd, also, to be expected. Country went over very well, while Billy Joel and The Beatles...not so much. Out of no where, "Proud to be an American" was being sung in stage. Complete with two huge American flags being waved on stage, and the crowd singing and fist pumping along. Now... This venue is on Disney property, where people visit from all over the world, in the resort area of EPCOT, where all countries are celebrated. The performance was capped off with the crowd chanting "USA" repeatedly. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Funny, though, when we got outside, the follow-up song was Bohemian Rhapsody. My daughter and I decided to check it out our first night at Disney. 5 Stars come with some factors: you have to go ready to have a good time, you have to engage, you have to get there early and get an up front table, you have to expect Disney prices for drinks. We got there 10 minutes before they opened and sat right in front. We made friends with the family at the next table. Laughed and danced with them all night. There is an $18 cover charge to get in. We were there for about 5 hours and our drink bill was about $150 before tip. So, expect to spend some money if you are drinking. The most cost effective thing would be to buy the drink that comes in the souvenir cup. It was like $30+ and refills were cheaper. This would've cost us less in the long run. Instead we were drinking vodka and shots. It adds up quickly. The pianists were very talented. There is never a break. Two would play for about an hour, two others would join them, then the first two would take a break. They rotated like this all night. It amazes me how many songs they know. You can request anything (and send up a tip) and they will play it. This is a great place if you are willing to spend the money and go with fun people. The $15 cover is ridiculous but I think they do it because people come to listen to the music but don't order anything. It was fun but nothing special. The music was ok but acoustics were terrible so you can barely make out what song they are singing. They have tables and a long bar. I would say the crowd on this particular Saturday night was a little older than my previous experience. Our group did pay cash with multiple song requests but I feel that in general most of the songs that were played were a little bit dated. I always loved coming here. Was a little apprehensive after COVID when I was told the musicians were all new BUT... they did not disappoint! Fantastic show. The best of the 4 performers was Tatu. I was corrected by my host that it would be Dueling Pianos. Oh. Like Ferrante & Teicher? No, more like Elton John & Billy Joel on their last encore of their last farewell tour but not quite that good, though some in the audience would beg to differ. They would whoop and holler like nobody's business at basically anything the pair of piano players would perform. It's a dark, small place as piano bars go, especially during a conference as big as IBM's last month. It was packed with people standing with their beers at the walkway railings. That would be me since the tables were filled with tone-deaf drunks who felt like they were in karaoke heaven during the Pat Benatar medley. I can see why people like this place. The two guys appear to play just about any request, and the rest of us are left at the mercy of the variable tastes of dipsomaniacs letting what little that's left of their hair down. This place is on Disney's Boardwalk and is billed appropriately as adult entertainment even though there are no strippers in sight. Just drunken conference attendees who want me to hit them with their best shot. Fire away. read more

First of all, I can't believe it took me SO long to go to Jellyrolls - I could positively slap myself!!! AMAZING time! BEST time I've had at a bar EVER! Seriously! Every hour they switch out the piano players, but they are all wonderful! You can't exactly expect the same people to stay up there the entire night; playing, singing, and being that energetic can take a lot out of a person - they need a break. Tips or not, they do try to play every request. I thought it was hilarious because if one of them didn't know a song, he would ball up the napkin the song was written on and throw it to the guy at the other piano. They really engage the audience and I couldn't help but sing along the entire night!! The staff were all excellent. The bouncers were all polite, friendly, and courteous. The servers were on top of their tables, all had smiles on their faces and seemed as if they really love their job and actually wanted to be there. As others have said before, the drinks are pricey but you get a good pour. I do suggest getting the nightly 32 ounce drink special for $9 bucks. I had two and there's no way I could have had a third and managed to walk out without assistance! LOL Bottles of beer are pricey as well at $5 bucks a bottle; for that price for a beer, I'd suggest going for the liquor! The bar is kept quite clean, although the restrooms could have used a little more attention. As with everything else at Disney, it's a smoke-free environment; so, you'll have to step outside if you're a smoker. No worries, you get a hand stamp when you first enter so you can come and go for the night. There is the $10 cover, which, in my humble opinion, is well worth the show! It's also 21+ and the crowd ranges, which is nice, because as long as you are of legal drinking age you won't feel out of place no matter what your age may be. Living only a short 15 minute drive away, I see myself here many, many more times! I have found my favorite spot to kick back and relax!! read more

Jellyrolls is the place to go for 21+ on Disney's Boardwalk near Epcot. There are dialing piano bars. These pianist take requests and keep the crowds going all night long. They are very interactive and are sure to create an excellent atmosphere! Cover charge was 15$/ea and drinks were prices fairly well (for Disney). People have said the bartenders are rude, but we did not have that experience. Service was great. I had one of the most fun times, and God knows how long at this place. The piano players are extremely talented and put on a great show. The only downfall is the crowd. Some people just get a little bit too uninhibited after they've had too much to drink, and think they should put on a show for the crowd. Can't hold that against the establishment though. Such a cool place for adults to get away from the kids in Disney World. I loved the dueling pianos! The pianist were so talented and had the room singing and dancing with every song. In total, one night I saw five different pianist because they switch in and out. They were all fantastic and so talented. Sometimes, two would be singing while two others were on the piano. It was a lovely variety of songs. For a packed venue, the bar wasn't as slow as I would expect it to be. They had a good menu of drinks and the prices weren't unreasonable like the rest of Disney. There's also free popcorn. I like that the bathroom is accessible behind the pianos from either side of the venue. It's in its own section in the back which makes it easier to access when the bar is crowded. I would definitely recommend coming here on a date or just to get away from the little kids for a night. read more

We made reservations for 10 and we were told the cover charge was $15.00. We arrived and they then said the cover charge was $18.00. We disagreed, pulled up their website which still said $15.00. Then we asked when it was changed and the employee said "about an hour ago." Manager was rude and didn't seem too care. They could have made $150.00 plus our liquor tab. But we walked away and went to the Dance Hall which was so much fun, and no cover charge. Won't try this place again. read more

We ALWAYS go to Jellyrolls when in the WDW area. The piano players are terrific fun and they always get the crowd pumped up and having a great time. The drinks are the usual "Disney Priced" meaning higher than normal.... But... you do get free popcorn!! Imagine that.. something free from Disney. The cover charge was $12 but we gladly pay it for an evening of great live music and great fun watching the crowd. Thank the Lord that crazy people love drinking, singing, and dancing because they provide so much fun to watch. Please go there when you have the chance, eat dinner at one of the nice restaurants at the Boardwalk. At night the Boardwalk is a lovely place to walk and see the lights. read more

First off JellyRolls offers no food with the exception of complimentary popcorn. They have very few non-alcoholic drinks. This was stressful cause I'm intolerant to alcohol and basically had the choice of cranberry juice or orange juice. They were out of pineapple juice and offer no Virgin version of their drinks. We arrived early but there was no crazy line to get in. The doors open @7 but the show didn't start until @8. The mic volume was off the charts way too loud. The acoustics in this room echo and I had a pounding headache pretty fast. I'm someone who doesn't mind going to a concert. If you want your song played you basically will need to include cash with it. One party had probably 4-5 of their songs played. Some of the song requests were for an older crowd. It was a lively atmosphere and after 2 hours it was jam packed in there. The piano guys were extremely talented and entertaining. Would I go back? Probably not. I just felt like the venue wasn't setup well for music and the lack of food didn't help. read more
