We booked for mid June Sun- Tuesday and I feel like to get the full scope of what they offer you need to dig hard in research. Even my confirmation says water zone open weekends only but didn't say Sundays closes at 1 which is before check in. So we basically didn't get to use their number 1 advertised amenity. Side note I called Sunday morning to inquire about an early check in between 1-2pm specifically to use the water park before the cabin might be ready and they said that's cool even when Sundays it's closed at 1. I also thought the food canteen would be open and it wasn't. We didn't bring too much variety in food planning to do pizza one day and ended up driving to John and Mary's in Arcade for that. No ice cream shop. Basically it seems you need to book a weekend only to get good amenities which I wish was in your face on the website and booking site. We would have done a weekend only instead. This was our first visit and it was hard to know some of the rules. Hours aren't posted on the pools. Golf cart rules are in small print so we unintentionally broke some of those rules like not driving it before 8am (sucks because our young kids start the day at 6 am) The cabin was great and had things I didn't expect like shower shampoo, hand soaps, dish soap, toilet paper, and basic dishes. No silverware though so bring that if needed. The mattress is SO LOUD and not comfortable. Like just sitting down is loud enough to worry about waking a sleeping baby. As I write this I feel like I'm just complaining which is entirely situational on the timing of the trip. I'd love to come back when it's in full swing. But the pay full price for discounted amenities is a bummer. The camp itself is great. Staff was all friendly. Even the guy who kindly asked me to stop breaking a rule I wasn't aware of lol. We got a golf cart too which got a flat tire twice before they switched it out. But otherwise it was nice to have with 2 small kids. This is an amazing place to camp for kids. It has a huge splash park, complete with water slides, two pools, a pond with inflatables, a bounce pad, a wooden playground, and a whole activity center. My five year old loved it. There were scheduled activities everyday and the ones who the characters were great, but the other ones were lacking, so don't plan your schedule around the non-character events. The bathrooms could have been cleaner but they weren't terrible. The "resort" is quite large and while it is totally walkable, you can rent golf carts. I would definitely visit here again! read more

We had an issue with the electrical panel the first full day and it was addressed promptly. The only disappointments were the movie night (you couldn't really see or hear the movie so we left after 5 min) and the beds being really uncomfortable. Horrible mistake to stay in the "deluxe" villa (for 3 nights @ just under 1000 bucks). So what is the Jellystone definition of the word "deluxe", anyway? "Deluxe" means you don't need to bring your own stuff for grilling! The grill here has the last guest's garbage still on it. Nice. "Deluxe" means you don't need to bring a coffee maker or stuff to make coffee! It has the last guest's coffee filter and coffee grounds still in the coffee maker. There were bits of mold on it too, so it may have been from 2 guests ago. "Deluxe" must mean "slushy" pops instead of "freezy" pops. The refrigerator's freezer refuses to freeze things. "Deluxe" means the television turns on. (Deluxe also means the screen has a long black vertical line obscuring the picture) . If you want to actually get real channels, you need a "Premium" villa I guess. Deluxe only gets you 4 or 5 antenna channels that continuously pixelate due to poor reception in the middle of nowhere. The "deluxe" and "free" WiFi doesn't allow steaming any kind of entertainment unless you upgrade that as well. 1000 bucks doesn't cover that either. The water park is the best attraction and my 9 year old child loved it! However, the COVID crisis requires everyone to leave the area for 15 min (5x a day) so they can sterilize the tables and chairs around the water park. I thought that was a great idea. However, I'm not sure how they can sterilize anything since all the guests leave their crap on the tables so they don't lose their spots. It would have been super if they could have given our "deluxe" cabin the same sterilization. Ironic, right? The corona virus wasn't in the pool area at all, it may have actually been living in our coffee maker or grill! Oh, and if you can afford a golf cart you should definitely get one. We didn't mind walking, but if you don't have one you WILL get run over by someone who does. Except for the water park, there apparently isn't much for adults to do here except drink beer and tool around on golf carts. There is no security or enforcement of speed limits, only signs that state "Slow down". Lol, ok. People can drink alcohol ANYWHERE here it seems. Please consider that if bringing your young children. I see people guzzling beers in the water zone then driving their family (quite fast) in the golf carts an hour later. I was so disgusted I felt like giving Yogi the finger when he whizzed by in his golf cart. Probably drunk too. And finally, Deluxe" DOESN'T mean when you try to call the front desk to voice your complaint that someone will actually answer. After you fork over your $1000 or more bucks, you're on your own. The staff was super friendly, the daily events were fun for the kids and all the amenities were good. Our deluxe cabin had/still has more dust on the walls, fans, heat/ac vents and cabinets than an old abandoned warehouse. The beds are awful and by awful I mean horrendous. Hard as rocks and beyond uncomfortable. If I knew renting a cabin meant spending 2 nights in an abandoned Motel 6 then I would've just slept on the street. I'm just happy that my kids don't know any better. They had fun. I would come back now that i know what to expect because it's close to home. FYI the whole place is on a hill so if you plan on riding your bikes more than a 100 yards then you better have a strong core. Have fun. read more

Went back with the grandkids for "Halloween" even though its only mid Sept. It was really great, though! We had a nice level site YY1, in the new section, with clean 50 A power ( but it surged low once) Water, and sewer. No cable, but my dtv dish worked great, as there are no trees here yet. I brought scary decorations, and candy for trick n treaters. I actually ran out, and was giving out quarters, must have been 150 kids! Nice staff of young kids , and they pick ip garbage at the site. Lots of activities, a little water park with slides, a pool, two lakes for swimming and catch & release fishing, hay rides with Yogi and Boo Boo, live music Saturday night, free movie viewing, playgrounds etc. Brand new full hook spots further away from all the action provide peace and quiet. Been camping here for almost as many years as I've been born for. The campground is amazing lots of things to do. The only negative is most of the fun stuff closes at 6 PM. If the park is at full capacity you get a line or to do an activity. The staff was mostly younger lots of 18-21 years which didn't bother me one bit as I'm 18. I found it fun to have a younger staff. The food was very good shockingly. The cabin on the other hand was out of shape. Mushy floors door wouldn't close all the way know oven. We brought all our silverware thank the lord because the only thing we had was 1 fork. The beds were rather uncomfortable. The couch was loud and worn out. Would never stay at a cabin ever again. 7/5/15-7/12/15 This campground has a lot to offer families. That being said be prepared for it to be BUSY! Long lines at check-in, long lines at the store, long lines at the Hey, Hey, Hey rides, no chairs available at the water park, pool or beach. BUT don't be afraid of the long lines, just be prepared. We took our own chairs where they were needed and tried to never be in a hurry. Also, we didn't care for our site W1. It's at the bottom of hill and was honestly to small for trailer. (32 footer). It was very difficult to level at this site. In addition, cars constantly sped by our site and around the turn. It would have nice if they enforced the 5 mph speed limit. A speed bump or two would do wonders there. Luckily our children are old enough that they understood they were to never play around the corner. Kids were also wiping out on bikes around our corner everyday. PROS-tons of stuff for the kids. The water park is awesome. The kids loved the kayaks and canoes (doesn't cost extra), friendly staff, clean campground, MOST of the bathrooms were great, nice playgrounds, basketball court, gaga ball, laser tag, pedal carts and a great mini golf course! The best I've seen at a campground. Also, they have great food! I didn't feel like cooking one night so we ordered and the pizza was delicious. CONS- our site, but there are PLENTY of great sites. The front bathroom is gross. My kids actually got out of the pool the one time they went in because the water smelled (I thought it smelled like pee). :(. But don't forget, they have the water park and beach that are awesome. If you don't like the 'country,' the smell of cows/manure could get to you. A loaf of bread in the camp store is $4. What? This is my first time at Jellystone so I had nothing to compare it to from any previous visit. I can only give you my experience so far. When we arrived all went well at check in and we were off and running. We found our two bedroom site with ease and when we arrived we noticed sleeping bags on the porch and seconds later a lady went up and pulled them off and said they must be another campers and she'll take them (later we found out they had a break in and found people in a cabin) she was acting all sketchy but I really gave it no thought. We un packed and started settling in and began noticing how damaged and unkept the cabin was. The family has been here several times so they knew the drill and asked me to take inventory of the kitchen plates utensils pots pans the lot. It's suppose to be equipped with four of everything and that was certainly not the case as the first thing, coffee cups had one. We got the deluxe cabin so we don't have to worry about bringing all the "stuff" with us. Most of the pans were so burnt you'd find a better selection at the SalvationArmy. We found out later that they don't even inventory anymore and that's probably why every things in the condition it is. Every blind in the cabin has missing and broken louvers, not ideal for privacy. The kids games and rides are wonderfully organized and the staff friendly. I spoke with the manager on duty and let her know of the staff racing two golf carts down the road. If staff is seen doing this then campers will do it as well. Golf cart traffic is heavy and fast and needs to have governors set at their speed limits posted I'd have to say speaking with other seasoned campers at this specific location that they have a dim view of the new management and the head of this facility as they feel its consistency on all levels continues to drop. Will the family come back probably not. Upper management (not the lower) needs to be addressed the lack of holding campers responsible by inspecting what you expect is a major factor. We just decided we're going to try the one up in Canada next time as they're the same distance. Finally and simply Campers need to be respectful of the entire facility. read more

We took our kids (7,4 and 2) Camping for the first time this past weekend! They had so much fun!! We rented a cabin and although pricey it came stocked with dishes, silverware and pans. It was clean and everything worked! It was pricey but with young kids I wanted to have comforts in case it poured all weekend. Kids loved the water park the pool was clean, they wooden playground was a big hit as well. Hey hey hey rides were tons of fun! I thought the staff albeit young handled things well; everyone was paying attention and stopping wrongdoings of kids and keeping all safe. There's so much to do. We ran out of time to do it all. As we were checking out people were booking their sites for next year already! Quite a few seasonal campers so they just be doing something right! Terrible experience this weekend. This place is not managing Covid risk well. 90% of the people are walking around without a mask. They have limited people in all areas and are changing the procedure daily, leaving you with no options for "water" things to do without over a two hour wait. Changed the rules overnight on a Friday for the course in the lower pond. So if you don't have a 10 minute reservation then you can't use the lower pond and two hour way for splash park, with 200 people waiting (not very safe). They are lumping all the numbers for the splash park and upper beach and pond, with 90% of people jammed into the splash park area. Not safe. Shame on you Jellystone. We won't be back, even our 6 year old recommend we never come back. read more

This is a tough review to give. The activities here for children are wonderful. There is something to do every hour on the hour. Simple activities. Hey rides. Candy hunts. They have dvd's you can borrow for a rainy day. At 10pm in the park the ranger actually comes and plays a game. Very busy place! FIVE STARS. On the property there is a store and a small game room in the same building. As well as an ice cream stand you can purchase pizza, fries, chicken fingers....pizza was raw. Six flavor of ice cream. Chicken finger and French fries good. FOUR STARS. When calling for information don't expect the staff to give you a whole lot of answers, that's if they pick up. You are better off reading reviews and talking to people who have been here. Service over the phone gets ONE STAR. Cabins with a loft also get ONE STAR. Very expensive. I expected the place to be clean for the price. I showered with my shoes on! Yuk! The mattress had crumbs in the seam. Not a good nights sleep. Cob webs everywhere. Stale smell. So-called screened in porch. Well, there are so many huge holes why bother with a screen? I realize this is camping but this place should be immaculate for the price. I opened the windows only to find mold growth. There are blinds on most windows. Bedroom had none. Not too private. All the lights don't work. There are options to pitch a tent but when choosing the cabin you expect more. Most of the staff on property are very nice and helpful. I would give FOUR STARS to them. A few barely open their mouth to respond. The laundromat floor was soaking wet and filthy. The washer and dryers were pretty clean. I would give it TWO STARS. No change machine or laundry soap available to purchase inside the laundromat. You have to buy at store. Make sure you get change and laundry soap prior to store closing if you don't bring your own. I would definitely return to this campsite. It is not very big and easy to get the hang of. Kid friendly by far! Before renting a cabin I would inquire as to whether I would be getting the newer ones or the older ones. Stay clear of the stale older ones. read more

Oooooooof. This was rough. First of all, we get there and I picked the campsite close to the outdoor obstacle course because I thought it would be super fun for the kids. Campsite is covered in goose poop. It's everywhere. Then we realize there is no one on the obstacle course. Ok. So I call. Oh it's closed, it'll be closed all year. I didn't read anything about that on the website. We sent an email. I don't remember seeing it but I would think one of your main attractions being closed should be in bold when you're booking a $88 a night site to sleep on the ground. We have camped twice in our 22 ft class c RV. Both times we received excellent customer service over the phone; she even found shaded sites for the dogs. The park was clean with many improvements. My kids had a blast swimming, water parking, kayaking and biking around. The staff was friendly and helpful, our neighbors were nice and I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was at night! I've been to other campgrounds where quiet hours are not enforced and it's a nightmare. Not sure how people can complain: it's a campground not the Ritz Carlton. With the volume of people there you have to expect some mess and occasional chaos. Bottom line is: great place for younger kids. Wish they had a little more geared towards the teens, but we will be heading back in 3 weeks. read more

I visited Jellystone Park for the first time with my wife and kids. We knew ahead of time that the new water park wouldn't be ready in time, but we didn't know that we would be staying about 15 feet from all of the construction. We were a little angry at first, but the staff, management and even the owner took great care of us and made our stay a great one. There were plenty of things to do for the kids, and I have to be honest, they all liked the construction. The park itself was well taken care of and the planned activities for the kids was great. The cabin we stayed in was better than I was expecting. That being said, if you are going camping don't expect a stay at a Hilton. The rooms are made for camping and fill the need nicely. My son has been begging to go back, so we'll be making another trip there soon! read more

We had a "deluxe cabin" with a tv that didn't work. Went to the front twice to get service for it. The arcade had more then half the games as "out of order". Couldn't get the shower to turn on. Public bathrooms smell terrible. Laser tag had FOUR guns and that meant unbelievable waits. Most of the peddle cars didn't work. "Ovens broke" so no one could get cinnamon rolls for the breakfast noted on the activity sheet. Staff is young and uninterested. This was our second year camping at Jellystone in North Java. Our kids enjoyed it last year and we thought we would give it another shot this summer. While there are a lot of activities and some improvements, it seems as though the priorities of the campground have changed. My kids love the waterpark and it kept them entertained for hours. However, my (6 year old) niece was injured on the water slide and she was not the only one hurt during our time at the waterpark. Upon exiting the water slide, her foot was stuck and became badly pinched. This caused immediate swelling, purple markings, and bruising. When the employee at the bottom of the slide noticed, he said "yeah you have to get off on the outside of the slide so that doesn't happen." This information would have been helpful ahead of time. But this also makes me question why this issue wasn't fixed as it has obviously happened before and the staff is aware of it. In addition, there was trash along the fence line and surrounding the overflowing trash cans. Our family also visited the pool one afternoon only to leave less than 10 minutes later. The pool was completely overcrowded making it unsafe for little ones to swim even with adults near them. I was truly disgusted with the lack of cleanliness of the pool. The water was cloudy and visibly dirty. Each time my kids would swim they would end up with a handful of random hair that was floating around the pool. Not to mention, there was trash scattered around the inside and outside of the pool area as well as the mini golf course. Our in-laws stayed in one of the "deluxe" cabins during their stay. For $248 dollars a night you get plenty of sleeping room, a full kitchen, bathroom and A/C. Your "deluxe" cabin also comes with lots of dust, broken blinds, and blown light bulbs. I couldn't believe the amount of dust and the condition the cabin was in . To be fair, the kids enjoyed the jumping pillow, laser tag, and playground (also completely littered) in addition to the waterpark. We were impressed to see the renovations and upgrades since last year, but it's hard to not to think that all of the time, money, and energy is going to the expansions. It seems that producing more revenue has taken priority instead of up-keeping what they currently have. I was extremely disappointed with the condition, lack of cleanliness, and the obvious lack of general maintenance of the park. One would think that you would want to take care of the current conditions to ensure repeat customers. Needless to say, we will not be back for a third visit. read more

This was our third visit here and also our last. The cabin cost $246 per night and says it sleeps 6-8 people. Made a reservation for 3 adults and 3 children and they still charged $246 per night for the cabin PLUS an additional $20 a day for the third child? For the amount charged for the cabin it should not have been in such disrepair. Half of the lights didn't have working light bulbs, the kitchen sink sprayer didn't work, the screens on the front porch were torn in several areas allowing bugs in, the refrigerator drawer was cracked in several places, the pull out couch was broken and had screws throughout its frame from prior repairs, the toilet flushed some of the time, and the tv signal was out more than it was on. The activities for the kids were lame to say the least. One was a teen staff member blowing bubbles out of one jar for about 10-15 minutes. Another one was a scavenger hunt that had a list so difficult that most groups quit playing and the staff seemed uninterested at best. Another activity was a rocket launch but didn't find out you were supposed to bring your own rocket until we arrived at the activity. Another scheduled activity was a "balloon stomp" where a staff member dumped a garbage bag full of balloons on the floor and the kids stomped them until they popped; this activity was about 3 - 5 minutes long. The water park was not running at full capacity. Everyone knows when you hear the horn that water is supposed to spray out, the horn blew all day long during the five days we were there but water never sprayed out of the top like it did last summer. The public bathrooms were beyond disgusting with insects and toilet paper all over the floor. Filthy conditions in these restrooms. The arcade had more games with "out of order" tags on them than games that worked. The pizza we ordered from the "general store" was awful, barely any sauce, the cheese was like wax. Everything in the "general store" is ridiculously priced and of the lowest quality available. We also rented a golf cart at $50/per day. Its headlights would go out when you ran over a bump in the road leaving you in the dark when driving at night. The time my son wanted to play laser tag, he was told there were only TWO working laser guns to play with. So only two kids can play at a time. There were more pedal cars that didn't work than ones that did work. Five days, almost $2K and it was a disappointing five days to say the least. The guests I had invited with me and that were part of my six person reservation were disappointed and I was embarrassed that I had brought them here. Such a shame that they are not putting any of their earnings back into the cabins, events, water park or equipment. We have already begun looking at other places to visit next summer as we will not return to this campground again. read more

It is not. -Hot Water that lasts about 5 minutes -broken tv -Empty hole in the cabinet where a radio used to be -dirty broken blinds -full size fridge was pushed against the wall so it was running at 45-50° -toilet is crammed between a sink and paper dispenser with very little room -odd smell. This was the absolutely the worst experience of my life. Granted it was raining the whole time we were there so it may have been more fun if the weather was nice. First off we could not reschedule due to weather or pay a cancellation fee, you lose your whole deposit which is 50% in our case over $300.00 so we had to go. Then several of the attractions were closed due to weather most likely (Bounce Pad / Giant Water Slide / Laser Tag) to name a few. If you are not allowing people to cancel or change reservations due to the weather don't close the attractions then. Finally we were stuck inside our cabin most of the time with no cable as the antennae did not pick up any channels in the bad weather or internet as the WIFI did not work. This is our 4th year coming to jelly stone. It's a great location with lots of potential. But they need to work on the little stuff. Our refrigerator in the boo-boo chalet cabin has been broken every year we come. Come on now it's a $50 refrigerator that you could get at Home Depot. For the price one pays you think they could spruce the place up a little bit. The water park is a lot of fun but again they need to invest some money into the upkeep. We charged them for over 24 hours at our cabin as instructed only to find out that the outlets didn't work. Air conditioning is listed as an amenity, ours didn't work at all and their resolution was one tiny AC unit for a 2 bedroom cabin that barely worked. WIFI is also listed as an amenity, but that also doesn't work. We had no water pressure or hot water in either of our cabins. We stayed for 4 days and saw the bears once and had to pay for it. The pool is green, gross and definitely not heated as listed. The aqua park was closed and we were told 24 hours prior to our trip(main reason we went). We waited over an hour for paddle boards because the teens running don't care how long people are out on them. The arcade has about 20 games and only one game was working during our stay, when asked why I was told "I dunno." During the golf cart drive in movie night there was no speaker just closed caption so we couldn't even enjoy that. The whole park is a waste of time and money. It is a cartoon themed, commercially run camping resort. Tent sites run about 120$ for two nights putting it on the expensive side, but the waterpark, putt-putt, swimming pools, kayaks, etc help soften the blow. The extra activities happen hourly, some are free, some are not. Our site was spacious, but when you walk the park you'll notice that that is a rarity. This was the only email address i could find. We made the most out of our stay here despite the horriable customer service. Was basically run by kids. The maintenance man(i wish i knew his name) was the only helpful friendly one in the place. Our cottage wasnt ready at 3 pm as guaranteed. When it was "ready" it had not been cleaned yet from the previous guests. So we had to wait another hour to unpack. While looking for pans and utensils which were the bear(no pun intended) minimum, we found a dead mouse in a mouse trap. I get it we are camping but the mouse trap should be checked at inspection. Never had enough water pressure to shower. Sometime had hot water to wash dishes. All the amenities had issuses, broken, old, worn out. Bed were horriable uncomfortable. Our neighbor(which was my sister) had to come over to use the stove because hers was broken. Between the 2 cottages we made it work but was not worth the money we spent for the extra space at all! The restrooms near the pool were out of order. We rented peddle boat with our 2 small children. As we got to the middle of the lake it stopped working and water began spilling in. So scary for us and the kids! The only thing that was amazing was the water park but again needed several repairs and more diligent employee supervision. Kids were allowed to do anything they wanted without consequence. The person monitoring the water slides was on her cell phone the whole time. Over all pretty disappointed. We have camped here for over 10 years with friends. This year was a big disappointment and we will not be coming back. They have expanded so much and pack people in like sardines, but do not maintain anything at the campsite. Our cabin had a cupboard door that was missing, nothing was stocked in the kitchen. This park is the worst park I've ever visited- my wife and son were struck by a run away golf cart - the "kids " left in charge laughed it off as a non serious incident- the electrical service on our- upcharged- premium-limited avalibility - unshaded- postage stamp sized sight completely ruined my stay as all my refrigerator goods spoiled as the power was out on a 90 degree day for extended periods of time- we could not leave our dogs in the camper at our "pet friendly " park as we could not use our air conditioning nor were we allowed to let them swim in the pond to cool off as the "head lifeguard " (16 year old kid) said it was not allowed- HOWEVER not to be all negative I was offered a bag of ice for my cooler read more

My wife and I are just finishing our 5 day stay with our 2 grandchildren our daughter and her husband. We are staying on sites YY16 and 17, purposely at the farthest sites available, and I do concur with another grandpa, a golf cart is needed at these sites. Our sites are very nice, paved, and ample for our 35' fifth wheel and truck. Water pressure is quite high, you will want s pressure reducer. My biggest complaint is the lack of cleanliness. That is evident nearly everywhere but no more so than the swimming pool that exhibits a serious ring of dirt/mildew completely around the surface area. The bathrooms were also very dirty, and I never saw anyone pick up trash. Most of the young staff seemed indifferent and bored at best. This was our second year, we won't be back. There are a lot of activities for the young kids but we'll be going to Hershey in the future. 3 stars is a bit of a gift. Sorry just edited to 2 stars and that's still a gift read more

This campground is wonderful for the kids as there is plenty of things for them to do but I found it was because of the fellow campers that made our weekend a success. On the other hand, the staff at this campground made my trip extremely unsettling and stressful. Either the entire staff do not know the campgrounds policies or the staff is following their own policies. My advice - if you have a problem, concern or just as simple as a question, I would ask as many employees as I can - chances are you won't get the same answer but at least you know you tried! read more

Awful! My cabin was filthy, and not stocked with anything it was supposed to be. When I complained on the way out, a man named Scott told me I was rude & barred for life from coming back! Nice customer service. No worries, for the inflated prices & awful service, I wouldn't go back! But you can bet I'll tell everyone I know not to waste their money there! read more

My kids love coming here year after year. The cabins are always so clean and so nice. They love the play loft and bunk beds. I was really impressed as to how attentive they were to our needs. Some areas to improve would be to heat up the water park water as it was cold in the middle of July (although the kids didn't mind). Not a good camping experience.... We had a group of 10 of is- We drove 8 hours to get there ( to visit Niagara Falls) First day we had not water, the bathrooms were gross and we were gonig to the bathroon on top of what people left minutes before. Second day- wend decent, we used the water park- the kids loved it , the pool staff was great. 3rd day, no power---- . By that time I had had enough, I went up to the main office and they gave us back 10.00 per night. Day 4 we went to the falls so I truely dont know who it was becasue I was away ALL day. Tent sites are on top of eash other. Bathroom showers have no water pressure. Have to walk way too far with a 4year old to use the bathroom. We asked a few locals why the park to us seemed to crazy---apparently the owner used to be more hands on.... not any more- water park closes @ 6- the office/store closes at 8. not used to all of this early closing. I have stayed at much better campgorunds..... Yogi, sorry but Scott the owner has made me hate you. read more
