Natural stone is not cheap, and we spent MONTHS looking for the perfect pieces for our project. We spent many Saturdays with Martha (who I'm pretty sure has got to have an honorary degree in psychology with all of the confused and overwhelmed people and couples who walk in their door. Anyone who has ever remodeled knows what I'm talking about! I think I would've completely lost my mind if it wasn't for Martha. She really did go above and beyond. Frankly, I miss talking to her lol! The entire staff there is so helpful and knowledgeable on their products and answered all of our million and one questions. They steered us away from some materials due to the upkeep, which we really appreciated. It might look amazing in a catalog, but maybe not so realistic when you are a busy family with messy kids and dogs! We had their team do the install for us as well, which I highly recommend. They are the best in the business and they know what they are doing. When you're buying high-quality stone it's worth the peace of mind.

As for rat turds under my house thats to be expected since they were living there at some point and we don't crawl around under our house to be aware of it. The dry rot at the toilet was expected eric and I discussed it being a possibility when we originally interviewed. My contract did include painting the bathroom and Eric charged me a additional 100.00 for the texture guy to come in and do the walls, i was also charged a additional 100.00 to have the drywall guy come back out and repair the wall where the old light fixture was. I didn't complain about, in-fact I didn't complain at all about money that was not the issue the only time I got irritated is when he would show up at 12:00 pm to work if at all and when he took 2 months to do the job. I have never had a contractor do work on my house before ,I have a lot of friends and family member in the trades so I always just higher them or do the work myself Im very much a DIY type of person.I can only assume Eric feels the need to make up stuff to help him look better. My bathroom looks nice in picture because it doesn't show all the flaws of uneven tile and crooked work. Eric also failed to mention that when he installed my shower head it wouldn't work and I had to hire a plumber to come out and figure out what was wrong because Eric said it wasn't his problem, turned out it was because he used to much of that white paste stuff and plugged up the pipes. This whole thing is ridiculous, I never had a problem with the cost of the job it was the work and mess that Im complaining about. I'm still trying to clean up the grout left behind on everything. I have it looked at by other professional and have been told the job was very shoddy. I truly hope thus is the end of the bad mouthing back and forth and the threatening text messages I have received. If you want a good review then do the job correctly.

A huge recommendation to Gustavo Guzman and his family. They completed laying LVP, baseboards and…read moresome carpet in our home, while we were living it, no small task. They were very methodical about how they approached it so that we had access to sleeping areas, kitchen, etc., before they left at the end of the day.Their experience was quite evident, I never worried that they were doing sub- par work. They arrived on time, worked together as a team and got it all done ahead of time. We had a moisture problem too that they had to deal with, very tricky but again they are experienced and did what needed to be done. we're happy with how it was laid, no worries about repeating patterns close to eachother. They're great communicators, worked hard, all with smiles and a sense of humor. Allen at the Floor Store was great too. We went in wanting a Cortec product, he also showed us alternative brands that he felt were good too. We never felt pressured to purchase just Cortec. he worked with us for about six months before we finally purchased, we never felt any pressure to hurry up. Matt & Margie W.

Francine is one of the least helpful salespeople I've ever encountered. From the moment we entered…read morethe store, it was difficult to get her attention. Once we connected, we were upfront about our budget, but she repeatedly steered us toward higher priced options and was not transparent about individual product costs. She encouraged us to apply for store credit through Wells Fargo, and I was approved for significantly more than the cost of the flooring we were considering (probably a red flag warning that they will attempt to take you for more than you want to spend). Later that week, she came to our home for a site assessment. While friendly during the visit, she remained vague about installation costs. As she left, she promised to email a detailed quote within a day or two. After a full week with no word, I had to follow up. She responded several hours later with an estimate. The product pricing stayed within what we discussed, but the labor portion was estimated, but listed as "variable," with no fixed amount or not-to-exceed" number. Additionally, she couldn't even guarantee the final cost or confirm they could complete the job. As a contractor myself (in IT), I'm accustomed to providing customers with clear, capped pricing and a promise we will complete the work before they commit, especially on installation work. Its not as if I was hiding anything from her. She had full access to the home for her assessment. If she lacked expertise to properly evaluate the job, they should have sent a more qualified person. This lack of clarity made it impossible to move forward with confidence. After sending the quote, she never followed up and I haven't spoken to her since. Overall, Francine came across as inattentive, inexperienced and unreliable. We ended up purchasing our flooring elsewhere, and based on this experience, I would recommend doing the same.
