What an indulgence! Pick a cookie and a brownie, an ice cream flavor and a topping and bam, you made your own ice cream sandwich. You can also have it hot pressed. It was delicious! Do recommend.

The Baked Bear is an awesome ice-cream spot (this coming from someone who's not a big fan of ice-cream sandwiches). You create your own ice-cream sandwich by selecting the cookies for the top and bottom layers. They have a lot of unique flavors like the blue Cookie Monster Cookie, the Funfettie Cookie or the Nutella Chocolate Chuck Cookie. I ended up going with the the Gooey Butter Cake Cookie. Next step, you select the ice-cream flavor. I felt like the Caramel Pretzel Fudge was the way to go. The sandwich was super delicious. I never had an ice-cream sandwich that came with a warm baked cookie, and I felt like it was 100 times better than a plain old ice-cream sandwich. This is a great place to come after a meal at one of the many restaurants in the area.

Such a great little treat off the beaten path. Nothing better than a homemade cookie with fresh ice cream. I've been multiple times and have been so pleased every time. Love the flavor and the monthly cookie option.

I like colorful ice cream and this one was delicious. Yes, I'm an adult

Crowded on a hot summer night but sooooo tasty! Baked Bear has some combination for everyone- just a cookie, just an ice cream, or go crazy and mix it together! Fun for kids and adults alike- this is a tucked away spot that everyone should find and try.

My partner loooved his ice cream sandwich. Two warm cookies and unique ice cream. I loved that they had a vegan flavor for me, but I wasn't the biggest fan it. Some vegan ice creams taste 100% like ice cream and this did not. Overall, it's a nice stop to try some unique ice cream flavors.

Just what I needed for something awesome to wrap up a great day! This place had it all - amazing cookie selections (flavor of the month - banana chocolate chip :). Many variety of ice cream flavors - delicious and legit ! The service was incredible and a friendly staff .... Who will warm up your cookie!! A must stop when you're craving a treat in Nashville!!

This was a fun little place that I'm glad we came across while visiting. There is a cute wall outside for photo ops. I did feel a little rushed while trying to order since there was a line behind me and only one person making the sandwiches to order. You pick your top and bottom cookies and your flavor ice cream to sandwich it all together. There's options to put on top for extra cost as well. I got a stuffed Nutella for my top cookie and white macadamia cookie for my bottom. Both of these would have been delicious by themselves, but for my sandwich I paired them with a cookie butter ice cream and added caramel drizzle. To die for!!! I really wish we had some places like this near me because my kids would love it! Although they are pretty big. I'd recommend just getting them in a Togo cup whether you plan to eat there or not. They have bowls, but there were only 2 bowl flavors (a brownie and I think chocolate chip) and I really wanted to try the other cookie flavors. I'd come back again if I come across another one of these.

Food - good! The ice cream is good and so are the cookies Essentially you make an ice cream sandwich - pick your cookie, pick your ice cream etc Service was fine Ambiance was fair 3,5 stars

Innovative dessert style! Options for cookies, brownies, and ice cream both individually and combined into a sandwich. Personally, I went with the traditional chocolate chip cookie and vanilla ice cream and it still stood out! Large portions, so splitting is recommended as long as you both can agree on the correct combination.

We stopped in one night for some ice cream. I got an ice cream sandwich with the gooey buttercake cookies, which were amazing, and toasted s'mores ice cream, which was good but didn't give me that s'mores flavor. They also have pup cups. Overall, a good place for ice cream or cookies.

Quality cookies + quality ice cream = super quality ice cream sandwich! This place rocks, and they're open much later than most other bakeries or dessert places. Anytime I need a late night sweet treat, or an indulgent way to celebrate a special occasion, this is the place I go! Be prepared for some longer lines, especially when college is in session. But they move the lines along pretty quickly, and there are places to sit both indoors and outdoors! You'll have to pay at the nearest lot to park, unless you walk snag street parking along 18th

What this does is evenly distribute the toppings throughout the ice cream AND make the ice cream itself stretchy and smooth. It creates a really good mouthfeel when eating. My go-to is their birthday cake ice cream (it's very sweet but I promise it's nothing crazy! It's a nice rich subtle flavor.), with cookie dough and m&ms. I always love it. There is a smell so putrid and foul inside that we ate our ice cream and cookies outside in the rain. Initially I gave them the benefit of the doubt, thinking they were just having plumbing issues, but I see this smell is mentioned in reviews going back at least a year. Every inch of this store smells like sewage but also an animal shelter. I am truly perplexed how they are passing inspections. On top of that, the prices are incredibly steep. My friends each paid $8 for their small cup of ice cream. You can get designer ice cream (Jeni's) for less! Some reviews mentioned bad service, but the employees were kind to us and we had no issues with them.

Serving a diverse menu of American classics from old-fashioned hamburgers and hot dogs to creative dairy treats, Bobbie's has been in business since 1951. In fact, known as Harper's Dairy Dip until 1986, this is the third oldest eatery on one of America's longest roads (Highway 70) in continuous operation (fourth oldest overall). The good thing is that you'll enjoy your experience, there is plenty of outdoor seating, and the service is always excellent. Employees stay positive and relaxed despite the stress of growing lines and constant orders coming in. The downsides include long lines, notoriously impossible parking, and average food. Even the soft serve ice cream isn't good, and that's difficult to mess up. I ordered a Heath Swirlie over the weekend, and I could barely find any toffee. And the soft serve just wasn't good. The hamburger was equally mediocre, harkening back to a simpler time but not something that would wow you in any way. Go here for the history and to keep them going, not for high-quality food.

Being that it is a…read moresummertime staple, that doesn't necessarily mean that the product is as wonderful as one would hope that had kept it in business for all these years. They offer burgers, malts, fries, shakes, splits, and ice cream itself. The menu is extensive, but despite its bragging rights of an extensive menu, a lot of it doesn't taste like it has variety. For example, I will order their Memphis Mafia. It includes peanut butter, ice cream, and bacon. Sounds delicious, right? They are cheap on giving you chunks of bacon, the vanilla ice cream is all you can taste, and the peanut butter flavor is miniscule. It is basically vanilla ice cream with limited flavor profiles of the other ingredients, which sucks because it should taste really good! The idea is there, but the flavor profile is not. You can't go wrong with the basics if that is what you seek. If you want a vanilla shake, they have you covered. As far as getting creative, I would go elsewhere. It just isn't worth the try knowing ahead of time that they're stingy on giving you more flavor for what you pay for! What is good, you ask? The burgers are good and the fries are most of the time. Sometimes, the fries are overly seasoned and that can turn some people off. I usually appreciate it because I like sweet and salty. Sticking a fry in ice cream isn't uncommon for me to do, but you're also hearing this from someone who puts ranch on her pizza. Parking is a nightmare. You're basically asking for your death wish if you park in front of the establishment and have to back out into traffic on Charlotte. If you don't want this problem, park on the side of the building on the street. You won't have to stress about Charlotte by making this choice, but parking might be limited. Seating is outside. It is covered with park benches. Don't have expectations for the bathroom. Again, it's an old joint and people come here for nostalgic purposes. It's a good place to bring your family for a no frizzles ice cream place.

I just liked their ice cream flavors. First time ever at Jeni's, I had the Bramble Berry Crisp Ice cream in a homemade waffle cone. Jeni created an Oven-toasted oat streusel with a sweet-tart brambleberry jam and layered it throughout vanilla ice cream. The final result? That's some mit-T-fine ice cream, one might say (pinkie to lip, splendid?) The next night I zeroed in on the Salted Peanut Butter with Chocolate Flecks.
