The food was microwaved & tasted just okay...our tea and coffee were average. The service was not very warm and welcoming. The lady seemed to be bothered and annoyed to have to take our orders however I noticed her and her coworker were extremely warm and friendly and chatty to their local customers. The ambiance was cute and cozy but I wouldn't return based on the unwelcoming customer service.

BLT sandwich Perfect crunch to the bite.

Great option to have a morning coffee in the middle of Boulder Creek! Service and staff are friendly and have great recommendations. There's a huge menu of items hear: coffee, breakfast and lunch. I was able to handle some work comfortably here. Small dining space but comfortable.

    A peek inside the cafe.

Friendly. Small seating area inside but the ambiance was definitely cozy and fun. Had bagels and locks. Highly recommend this location for breakfast

The coffee was great. The service was fast. The coffee shop and town in general is very beautiful.

Breakfast Sammy on a Bacon Biscuit

We are in town for a wedding, and this is already our 2nd visit to Jenna Sue's. This is a fantastic spot to grab and go breakfast! There's an easy to access parking lot behind their building. They are abiding by covid precautions with hand sanitizer, masks, and limited numbers of people in the store to order. Yesterday, I got the Dino-mite, which is a bagel (I got an everything bagel) topped with avocado, crumbled bacon, and Chipotle Tabasco. Yum! They were incredibly generous with the amount of bacon they gave, and I ended up being full until dinner. To drink, I got a caramel oat milk latte. I appreciated the number of non-dairy milks they had as well as the fact that the drink wasn't too sweet. My husband got the breakfast Sammy on a bagel, which he also enjoyed! Today, we were back again! This time, he got the breakfast Sammy on a bacon biscuit - can you tell he enjoyed it the first time? He also got a drip coffee - I think it was called the Redwood Blend, which was a medium roast. I ordered a bagel (Asiago) with cream cheese and added "garden" which includes tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, and sprouts. Again, they are SO generous with the amount of toppings, and I was left so satisfied and full. It was great to add some veggies in as my diet usually changes with travel to include less veggies. To drink, I went with an iced Mexican mocha with oat milk after hearing another customer rave about it. I completely agree with her that this drink is amazing! We've thoroughly enjoyed having this little reliable breakfast spot just a few minutes away from our airbnb!

This is without a doubt the best place in town to get coffee and have a quick bite to eat. The pastries that are to die for.

When I tell you my friend's coffee was bad, it was bad enough I would tell you to go get burnt bean water from a major national coffee chain before getting it here... and the whole coffee interaction was so very bizarre... She ordered a latte with soy. When they brought it to her, they handed it to her in a way the lid popped off and when she attempted to take it from them to sip the coffee, as it was overfull, so she could put the lid on, the guy pulled it back away from her as she's saying "it's fine" and takes it back out of her hand, walks back to the kitchen sink, and dumps out a good inch at the top before putting the lid back on and bringing it back to her. It was really weird to insist on taking it out of her hand and super odd choice to try to solve an ill-fitting lid by dumping out part of the drink she paid for. The way he took it from her weirded us out. It was not helpful and friendly, it was insistent and domineering. We immediately wanted to get out of there and get to the car... and the lid pops off again and again, every time she picks it up. The worst part is that afterward she noticed white dry powdery crud settled at the bottom, not mixed in. No clue what it was, but our best guess was they use some sort of powdered soy milk and they didn't mix it in correctly. TL;DR - Get your coffee anywhere else.

I was looking for something heavier than a pastry and found out they had breakfast sandwiches and their own bagels! Score!! To my surprise, they also had specialty drinks so I had to get the Blondie latte with a plant-based milk. I asked the lady if it was sweet and she said it came with a tablespoon of brown sugar. But they could switch it and make it a teaspoon instead. Perfect! As I got my latte it was amazing!! The espresso used in the latte was actually a mild roast coffee so I really liked the flavor of it roast and it was Organic!! Win-win!! Since I'm trying to avoid dairy at the moment, I asked if I could get the lox bagel sandwich without cream cheese and replace it with avocado. The lady at the register asked another barista behind her and she said it was fine! Perfect!! You also get to pick out what type of bagel you want, so I wanted to try something different and got the sun-dried tomato and basil or something like that! The sweet flavors of the herbs in the bagel and then the juiciness of the tomato baked into the bread once simply wonderfully with my breakfast sandwich!! There's a cute little waiting area inside with at least 10 tables or seats along the breakfast bar counter and a couple of tables. There's also a very large outdoor seating area, but I was cold so I wanted to sit inside to warm up my body since I was going to go to yoga on the beach. I had only planned on eating half the bagel sandwich but honestly, it was so good when it came out. I sat there for a good 20 minutes until I ate the whole thing!! Lol so funny!! I was so stuffed I had to walk an extra mile before I could start my yoga on the beach! As I sat enjoying my breakfast sandwich, I got to overhear the two barista's talk about music!! One of the baristas allowed her device to search new genres of music while the other barista specifically looked up different genres of music she liked and then would tell her device to find music of that era. So interesting to hear their discussion!! I honestly loved everything about this quaint little coffee shop, and I will definitely be back again and again!!

They feel much more like a soft Korean-style baked bun, but regardless of what name goes on them, they are just delicious. I arrived pretty early in the morning, and it was already quite busy with a line forming, so placing a pickup order in advance seems like the best move for future visits. I picked up three items to share with my family: the Garlic Asiago Bloom, the Jalapeño Bloom, and the Chili Oil Scallion Bloom. My six-year-old nephew claimed the Garlic Asiago Bloom and absolutely loved it, calling it soft and delicious. The Jalapeño Bloom was also extremely good, offering a wonderful kick from the jalapeños alongside a very generous amount of cream cheese. My absolute favorite, however, was the Chili Oil Scallion Bloom. The chili oil flavor was wonderfully prominent and rich. What really stands out is the texture. Every single bloom is pillowy soft, which allows the dough to hold the rich fillings of cream cheese and melted mozzarella together perfectly. Because they are so rich and indulgent, this might not be an everyday bagel spot for me, but it is an incredible, unique treat whenever I want to indulge. Sharing these with my family made for a great experience, and I will definitely be back.

This time, I preordered from their website and was able to grab my bagels right away from a different line. I ordered the corn cheese bloom and the monthly special, which was the gochujang bacon bloom. Both bagels were really good and stuffed with cream cheese. I really enjoyed the corn cheese and I feel like this is a staple. The gochujang cream cheese had a really intense flavor, but I liked how there was enough of a kick from the gochujang. They've got a good ordering system going where they have 2 separate lines for ordering and picking up. I highly recommend placing an order online in advance because the lines definitely get really long! Next time, I'd like to try their other flavors too, and I really need to try and make it by on the weekdays where they have the salt bread bagels.
