Five stars for sure it was awesome and a real treat to get to come here. The bagel sandwich was tasty, and the customer service was great

Love this place! Great food/coffee/service. As others have mentioned, this place is a hidden gem

Delicious Breakfast Burrito and great Iced Green Tea Latte for an late morning/afternoon pick me up! It's so nicely decorated inside and staff is so welcoming.

Redwood tree growing in the middle of Treehouse Café.

They have the smoothest coffee I've had in a long time. I had a mocha and I didn't need to add any cream or sugar to it--it was already perfect. They have plentiful indoor seating, plus some outside. Parking is super easy. The most remarkable point is the twin-trunk redwood tree--a real tree!--growing in the middle of the restaurant. How cool is that?!

I'm a Boulder Creek local and hate to bash on something so close to home, but Treehouse, you need to be better or you're not going to last. I had a meeting in 30 minutes up the road so I thought I had time to grab a breakfast burrito--nope, took 20-25 minutes to cook up those microwaved eggs. I was late to my meeting. That's not the worst part, the burrito was an absolute disaster. I order the veggie burrito and the barista asked I want want avocado and sour cream. I said sure that sounds good. The posted $8.75 price on the board jumped up to almost $13-- after top was close to $15. I understand that up charge for a ocado as they are not cheap, but $6 for avocado and sour cream? Yikes. That's not all-- the avocado was ROTTEN in multiple bites. See photo for example. Gag inducing. The tomatoes were also not fresh and I can't stand tomatoes (my bad for not saying not tomatoes as I didn't notice they were included). Btw, who the hell puts tomato in a breakfast burrito?! Yuck. There were also RAW WHITE ONIONS and cheese that was not melted at all. Long story short: I was late for my meeting, gagged on rotten avocado and unmwlted cheese, and the cherry on top? The sour cream they charged me for was not out in the burrito! Sorry Treehouse, I think that's the last straw. Jenna Sue's down the street is way more busy for a reason. I hope you improve and take the time to make sure you don't put brown avocado on people's breakfast knowingly. It's bad enough for a perfect avocado to jack up the price let alone a rotten one without the mark up for the non existent sour cream. 2 stars instead of 1 because I don't have it in my heart to be that mean to a lacoal business. Also, can you serve something other than Santa Cruz roasting coffee, please?

Breakfast bagel sandwich and an Irish creme cold brew made the day! Service was good and the lady at the front was very friendly :)

    Great local affordable art!

We stopped here for breakfast to go and had great food and great conversation with the friendly staff. I enjoyed looking at all of the art and hearing about kindness, resiliency, and community during and since the horrible fires that ravaged the area a year ago. I highly recommend a visit. The community could use the support after battling the fires and COVID-19.

    "The Bob" sandwich.. so good!

Always enjoy going here for great food, excellent coffee, & terrific staff! Friendly and inviting, cozy and woodsy. This is my go-to spot when I want food, coffee, or great conversation. Love this place!

First time trying this spot. My husband went to go and get it and once I opened up my sandwich there was a BROWN HAIR in it! Does the workers wear hairnets? WOW. beyond disgusted. Not ok! I hope they see this!

    Iced quad Oatmilk mocha
    The C.

Got an iced quad Oatmilk mocha from here. It was very good. They do use Ghirardelli mocha sauce, which I often find is too sweet, but this was good. Would definitely return. Service was excellent. It's really cool inside, with a tree growing through the building (building built around tree most likely). Neat mountain cafe.

Long wait times for food even though they're almost empty.

Pretty convenient! Honestly, almost everything in the town of Boulder Creek is all in that one clump. You could totally grab a drink at Wild Roots or Johnnie's and sip away while checking out antiques at Boulder Creek Antiques nearby. Wild Roots does seem to be a chain as I noticed another one in neighboring Felton. I was delighted that they had gluten free pastries and a house-made gluten free bread! My sister enjoyed a strawberry-blackberry brioche tart, while I ordered the mango mochi bite (gf) and a chocolate mochi donut (gf). My favorite was the mango bite, which had a delicious burst of fruity mango flavor. The chocolate donut was a very rich, chocolate-y flavor and also excellent, but the texture was not as nice as the mochi bite. The strawberry-blackberry tart was also delicious, per my sister's feedback. The avocado toast was good, but my favorite was definitely the mango mochi bite. As for the drinks, my matcha was with a house made rose syrup and my sister said her chai was very peppery and delicious--her favorite chai on our trip so far! Wish we'd had a larger size but not sure if they offer them. When I'd ordered, I wasn't asked about sizes and didn't even think to ask for a large. Parking in front is a bit limited, but they have plenty of interior seating and even a little outdoor seating area. All in all, I'd absolutely come here again if I ever find myself in the area. Highly recommend, especially if you are gluten free! They even asked if it was allergy or preference, which makes me feel more confident eating here as someone with celiac disease.

Just wish that their breakfast ran later (ends at 11 am) and that the line moved a little faster.
